I just started going to The Joint over in Dacula last week at the recommendation from one of my best friends. I am young, but I swear, there is an 87-year-old woman that lives inside of my body. I am ALWAYS hurting, but my lower back has especially been giving me problems recently, which is why I decided to go to a chiropractor for the first time ever (see photo of their entrance but also my commentary because I’m not kidding, I was hurting SO bad). I had my third visit today with Dr. Nikki and the relief she provides is insane. She is super conversational and very easy to talk to. She is knowledgeable, and she listens to your needs. What I also love about this place is that they didn’t push me to purchase anything. I initially went in on the $29 first visit, truthfully not sure if this would be a “one and done” thing, or if I would be back. After Dr. Nikki “cracked” me (and I mean that in the BEST way possible), the relief I felt was instant and I knew there was no way that this could be a one and done. She will walk you through every step of the process - she’s not just going to adjust you with no preparation, fold you up like a pretzel, and leave you shocked. You will know exactly what is happening and what she is going to do, which really helped me, especially being a first timer. Aloni at the front desk is also super helpful and sweet! My first day as I was completing paperwork, I had a few questions and if she didn’t have the answers, she got them for me right away. She always greets everyone with a smile and on a first-name basis, which really speaks to the professionalism and customer service they provide. It really feels like they know you here and they show that they care about your needs. If you have an 87-year-old living in your body like me (or don’t and you just hurt from sports, age, or whatever) and live in the area, GO SEE THESE LADIES AT THE JOINT. You won’t regret it!

The absolute worst. The doctor that was there clearly didn’t want to see me and decided that I need to go elsewhere after doing a bare minimum test that ultimately proved nothing except her not wanting to see me. Her attitude was dry and she completely lacked bedside manners. Her entire approach was not that of someone who truly wanted to help someone rather pass them off to a different person. I signed up for treatments after having nerve issues in my back. It was supposed to be wellness program for two months. Months later I found they had been billing me long after. Turns out there is small print in the agreement that says you have to cancel the program or they keep billing you. She compared it to Netflix! ? That pretty much says it all. If you want to get a medical procedure that has a Netflix business model, this is the place for you! The chiropractors are never the same, so you can never see the same person consistently because they rotate all the time. Not a good experience, although the one I did see once (and wanted to keep seeing but couldn’t) did a good job that one time! Good luck, overall very frustrating experience for me.

November 3, 2025- Wednesday I saw Dr Nikki and as usual she was very bubbly and kind. I feel well adjusted without painful twists and turns. Aloni is always friendly at the front desk and she knows her stuff. She’s never been tripped up with any requests or questions. They make a good team and my family looks forward to going there to get straightened out. I have neck stiffness, an herniated disk and arthritis in my lower spine. These adjustments keep me loose enough so I don’t injure other things . I went in Friday afternoon and received a really good adjustment from Dr. Choi. His method was a little different than some other Drs and an appreciated the switch up, i was loosened up really well. My neck and shoulders feel much better and so did my lower back. Kudos to Dr Choi and Ashley for their helpful assistance.

Dacula joint is my fav, originally I didn’t sign up at this location but this is the only one I go to. Dr G and Aloni are the best. You are always greeted with a smile, Aloni is always happy to answer any of my questions or address any of my concerns. In the beginning I thought due to my neck always being super stiff that it would take a person with super strength to adjust, looking back that just isn’t the case as Dr G makes it happen every time. I saw Dr Nikki today for back & neck pain. This is my 2nd visit with her & she gives an excellent adjustment. I mention my ears were stopped up. She did a "sinus" adjustment & within an hour my ears started draining. This was a new experience for me. Ashley was welcoming & courteous. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that they talked me into a package at my last visit & it is expiring before I have a chance to use them all. I was having lower back and tail bone pain due to a gym injury, but I was super nervous to go. However, I decided to get my spine checked after months of persistent pain. The first chiropractor I saw took X-rays and offered an extremely expensive care plan. I immediately went to the Joint instead and am glad I did! INSTANT RELIEF!! Let me start by saying that Brianna, the receptionist, was a delight. I called her frantic whilst my mother and I were at another Joint location where we were treated horribly. She apologized on behalf of someone else and cared so much about our well being, then she assured me that we could come on over to Dacula where there was no wait. As soon as we got there, she welcomed us with a warm smile and saw to it that we were promptly seen.. by the amazing Dr.Nikki! So well-mannered, professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. (NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE from the other location.) Dr. Nikki consulted and adjusted both my mother and I. My mother was in terrible pain today and after that adjustment, she was able to bend down. My neck was in need of that adjustment badly ! So much care, the thoughtfulness and questions Dr. Nikki asked showed that she not only has ample experience, but a truly caring heart. Not one detail was overlooked. We both signed up for the wellness plan and will be there every week!

I love the chiro, I started going when I was 18 or 19 for my migraines and ever since it’s helped me be so productive in my life vs before. I will say it seems expensive but I don’t mind it, it’s worth. I love the receptionists Dorothy and Aloni, Dorothy has been there since i’ve started with Dr Chris, after he left I got a new Dr and love her as well, they seem to change a lot but i don’t mind it new doctors are nice. Dr Mcgowans is sweet he made me feel comfortable and made me feel less of a burden for not knowing much about him, he is good at his job and made me feel very safe and good afterwards. Aloni is very nice i love her vibes a lot and she is very sweet me and her bonded over her awesome car and she’s very welcoming to me each time, she’s easy to talk to and creates a warm welcoming nice vibe inside the joint.

Hands-Down the Best Chiropractic Care I’ve Ever Had! I grew up in a chiropractic family, so I’ve always been picky — which often meant I just stopped going altogether. But everything changed when I started seeing Dr. Amy at The Joint. She listened, examined, and gave me care that was truly personalized to my body and pain. Within just a few visits, years of tension, sinus issues, pain and discomfort melted away. I felt great again — something I hadn’t realized was even possible. I have had a membership with the Joint for at least 10 years and I'll probably keep it for 10 more. I always come to the one in Dacula since its the closest. I went in today and was with Dr. Centurion. He was amazing! I won't lie, they move doctors around so much you don't really get to build a relationship with them and they don't get to know you or what you need--they still do a good job, but I might just follow Dr. Centurion to neighboring branches because he cares and it absolutely shows. He explained things very thoroughly and even emailed me stretches. He also popped my spine in new ways and like I said I've been going to the chiropractor for 10 years now.

After my second chiropractic appointment, I experienced my first seizure that night while I was alone at home. This incident felt like a significant awakening, as I hit my head on the hard floor, which resulted in what seemed like a concussion. Consequently, I missed two days of work and faced a hospital bill. I contacted the chiropractic office to cancel my membership and requested a partial refund due to my circumstances. However, the representative I spoke with was unhelpful, insisting that I needed to complete a cancellation form. When I mentioned my inability to drive, she offered to send the form via email. Unfortunately, I never received it, and I had reached out just one day before the next automatic payment, making it too late to cancel before the charge was processed. The representative informed me that I would have four additional visits scheduled for the following month, which I found to be quite callous. The office could have at least considered providing a partial refund to assist me during this challenging time. Without insurance, I was unable to receive a thorough examination, which only added to my financial burden. This experience was truly traumatic and has had a lasting impact on my life. It appears that people can be emotionally detached and lacking in compassion. My memory of the event is unclear, but I recall having a large, swollen knot on my forehead that was pink/red in color. The bridge of my nose is sensitive to touch, and the back of my head is extremely tender, making it difficult to even brush my hair.

So far so good I don't have any complaints. Dr Riley was the first doctor I met with she's absolutely amazing took time to really listen to me. Doesn't hurt that she always smells like cookies ? Had a little hiccup about a payment, but it was quickly resolved. Dorothy is so sweet it's nice to have someone like her at the front desk.

When I decided to go to the chiropractor I could hardly walk and was in extreme pain and discomfort after 1visit the pain was a little less and I was walking better and after 2 visits the pain had become a lot less although I still did have some muscle weakness after seeing them 2days a week for 3 weeks I’m almost back to my old self with very little muscle weakness the team is excellent and very knowledgeable in what to expect as treatment progresses I would recommend everyone give it a try that is living with pain

DR. RILEY is the BEST ? I have been seen by Dr. Riley for about 2 years now since she was at the Loganville location, and now I follow her to the Dacula location. Dr. Nichols is AMAZING! I first saw him a month ago with a pinched nerve in my neck and a great deal of nerve pain in my arm. He was not only thorough in getting to know my history, he made sure he took the appropriate steps to get me back up and running without overdoing it at the same time. Without saying a word, he always goes straight to the spot or spots that are knotted up and giving me issues and I walk out of there noticeably better. He is also great at looking at the big picture with you so you take the right steps between visits for continuous improvement. I’ve been coming to The Joint for two years now and I’ve been to more than 6 different locations and I’ve had more than 10 different chiropractors but my number one absolute favorite is Dr. Amy Riley! I literally do not have to tell her where I’m hurting cause I just KNOW she gets all the right spots every single time. She’s quick and she’s AMAZING. I get a lot of pain from carrying and flipping around with my toddler but she’s the cure to all my aches. Every other chiropractors I’ve encounter with I’ve had to tell them where I’m hurting and even then, they still don’t get it right. Then I’m just disappointed every time I come and she’s not there (obviously my fault). Anyways she’s great, don’t miss out on her gifted hands. I’m definitely grateful for her! Thank you Dr. Riley! Also front desk staff always top tier! They do an amazing job!

I went to a chiropractor for the first time. The team they have at the Dacula location are great. Dorothy was warm, inviting and reassured me that it was ok to feel anxious (but I didn't need to be). I had an appointment for today (June 7th) at 10:00 am. I arrived at 9:45 and the door was locked. I sat in my car for a few minutes and tried the door again at 9:50 still locked. Still charging my credit card 1 year after ending my service. Edit: Nice people but their system is a little bugged. I was getting charged for 4 months after cancelling, and it seemed like they fixed the problem after removing me from the system. I have been with The Joint for many years. I like that you can visit any Joint around the country. Which was helpful when my family and I went on an out of state vacation and my back went out. I just searched for the nearest Joint which was only 10 minutes from our hotel. That adjustment saved my vacation! The Dacula is my primary location & I couldn't be more pleased when Dr. Axon started here. I was already familiar with him from occasional visit to the Buford location. The Joint Chiropractic of Dacula is awesome. The staff is very friendly. Dr. Berneske is fantastic! I 1st went there due to some back pain, burning in my hip/upper leg and tension/pressure in my left shoulder neck area. Dr. Berneske worked her magic and I felt immediate relief. Now I get a weekly adjustment, which is keeping my spine in alignment and I no longer have any of the issues stated above. I would recommend going to get an adjustment here even if you don't think you need one. It could be a life changing experience.

Never in my entire life have I been so embarrassed walking out of this office. Dr. Berneske literally would not listen to any of my concerns or take into consideration any of my past medical history when I discussed them with her. She also kept putting words in my mouth to make my situation sound worse than what it was. She took things way out of context and I ended up leaving there with her telling me she was scared to adjust me and that I needed to go to the ER or urgent care. Just last year, I saw a neurologist about my issues and was told I didn’t qualify for surgery since my case is so mild. This was stated to her prior to her even looking at my records. I told her exactly what was wrong with me when I met with her since this isn’t my first rodeo with this and I was still told to go to the ER or urgent care. As our conversation finished, I walked out the door to many people staring at me in the waiting room that heard everything that was going on, which is a HIPPA violation, and was so completely embarrassed. Here I am two days later still in pain and no where to go because she is too scared to adjust me. Never will I be back to this place.

I've been going to the joint Chiropractic at this location For about 3 months now. Doctor Berneske is awesome. She pays attention to detail and explains everything thoroughly. I always feel like my needs and concerns are thoroughly addressed. I was having back pains for many months. I started feeling improvement from the 1st visit. It just kept getting better from there. Every time I come in it's a nice welcoming atmosphere I really enjoy getting adjusted I always learn something new from the chiropractors that are there and I just recommend it you know for the working manner woman who is you know lift and stuff or it's just finding themselves doing more physical activity or person that's sitting all the time you know cuz your lower back and stuff is very important from what I've been told super fun atmosphere and a great place to go to get adjusted

So disappointed. I saw the new chiropractor and was not impressed. I now have to find a new chiropractor because I will not return to this location. Dr. Sheldon, you are missed terribly! Where did you go?! Are you considering working part time? WHERE? I will drive there. UPDATE : the joint called me to see what they could do to make things better. But there is nothing they can do. I have grown accustomed to the care provided by Dr Sheldon. They gave me his number. That was nice of them. I don’t have anything against their current chiropractor but the level of care is different.

So I’ve gone to this location recently an adjustment by Dr Sheldon who hasn’t been there , but his name is on the door. New doctor…. okay that’s fine she is quite friendly a big difference from the previous part time other female Dr…..however all 3 times I have left feeling worse . I mentioned that on my visit to her today and she said give it a few days to heal it isn’t instant since I have autoimmune issues. Honestly I haven’t left any other clinic or Dr Sheldon feeling the way I do today. I’m at a point of do I go to the hospital or spend more money to have someone fix what she did because the pain is unbearable in my neck and shoulder. This is sad just sad I’ll be canceling to go to a different place all together for someone who will listen when I say the adjustment made something else hurt .

I rarely write reviews. I had such exceptional service and wonderful adjustment yesterday from this particular branch that I decided to put pen to paper or should I say fingers to keyboard. I have been a Joint member for about 3 years and have visited many joint locations. I contribute good health to Chiropractic care so I have invested my time and money in the last 20 years to exploring many different Chiropractors over the years. I can tell you that not all Chiropractic are created equal. The level of adjustment I receive at the Dacula location is worth the extra drive time for me. I pass two other Joint locations on my way to see them. If you are hesitant on going to see them don't be book an appointment today because both of the Chiropractors they have on staff are extremely talented.

Dr. Booth is INCREDIBLE!!! Today I walked into the office in SO much pain, I have never gone to a chiropractor before because I’ve always been so scared but today the pain was just unbearable and I knew I had to go. The staff at this location couldn’t have been better, everything from the initial phone call to the time I walked out of the office was just exceptional. I signed up for the monthly plan and I’m so glad I did because I am definitely going back. The dr was so comforting and while being adjusted it didn’t hurt at all. I can’t even explain how good this was. When I walked in my pain was through the roof, when I was walking out my pain was so minimal, I’m so glad I finally went and I’m so thankful for the staff at this location ❤️

I don’t get to go regularly due to business travel. However, Each time I have had an adjustment the Dr is alway friendly and thorough. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was I wanted a certain type of neck adjustment and the Dr said you do not have the equipment for the adjustment. The Dr said that type of adjustment would help my condition but it was not available.

I came here when my local Joint closed for Covid-19; I’m so glad I did. Dr. Sheldon is the best chiropractor I’ve ever had adjust me and I’ve seen several. I now drive out of my way just to see him. The staff was extremely unhelpful, and rude! My husband was out of work due to work injury, they told me he couldn't come back until the injury was taken care of. They continued charging his card for services he was bot using and had a disgusting attitude after I very nicely tried to ask them to help us sort out the situation! Do no recommend this location!

Went here after going to Hamilton Mill Chiropractor. Going to stick with Hamilton Mill’s. Front desk was friendly. Walk-in only which is nice for that immediate attention. The chiropractor was ok. Just gave the usual back cracks my husband can do at home. I left still feeling a pinch in the neck area and quickly called Hamilton to schedule an appointment. I didn’t say anything because I rather not have another adjustment in that way. If you just want a quick adjustment to relief maybe stiffness, something minor and do not have any on going issues, The Joint is a good place for that. It kind of says it in their paperwork also that they don’t have x rays or any other equipment or if it’s anything bigger than they can handle than they’ll recommend you to someone else. But if you’re looking for on-going treatment, someone who’ll really assess your problems and give you information that’ll help you in the long run, go to Hamilton, or a professional chiropractor that has his or her own office and not a franchise.

Dr Sheldon is the absolute 'best' He gets to the root of the problem and does more than the routine chiropractic care. I am a registered nurse of over 35+ years and I understand good care. Brought my husband in with significant unrelieved pain and after 2 visits he was 100% better. Dr. Sheldon also provided him with physical therapy and home exercises....(my recommendation is only to visit with Dr Sheldon, call and ask for him ONLY). Other chiropractor in on his off day did nothing for my husband on an earlier visit.

Need a full service practice. 3 minute adjusent is not enough. Was given bad information to the person who set my account up. Was told days can be carried over only to find out that's not true. I paid them for several months with out going. My fault, yes. More visibility and clarification from the practice would also be helpful. If it we're not for Sheldon the place would not exist. Won't be going back.

As others have stated.... NOTE that Dr Sheldon is the one who's getting the rave reviews and five stars. I had no clue what the other doctor was like but in reading older reviews, I get the idea. Dr. Sheldon is the best and most real chiropractor I've been to and I've been to many. He treats you as an individual, not cookie cutter. You can tell he really loves what he does and cares about people.... the front desk staff are very friendly and efficient. Nice to not have to make an appointment or be there all day..... pretty much in and out.

I’ve been to 4 different doctors and all I was diagnosed with was severe vertigo and no improvements. I’m not a big fan of meds or doctors, but find chiropractors to benefit me. It was suggested I try chiropractic to get relief of my sudden issues. 3 visits and I feel less dizzy, back to testing my limits and feeling normal when I drive. I couldn’t thank Dr Sheldon enough for how far I have improved and helping me get relief.

Dr. Sheldon and his staff are great! He greets you by your preferred name, listens to what is bothering you, and adjusts you accordingly. He also gives practical advise to help ease your pain (i.e., when to use heat, ice, Epsom salt baths, stretches you can do, etc).

This sorry excuse for a chiropractor does not deserve any stars, sadly that was not an option. My wife had an appt with Don Mcmahon and she found him rude, abrasive, argumentative and extremely discourteous. Avoid this place like the plague, there are so many better options real close. I also see the review before complaining of very similar treatment. Just not good enough. On the bright side i'm sure the building will be available to lease for those interested if this trend continues. Receptionist defended him to the hilt, very admirable.

What a horrible experience! When I walked in, the receptionist just looked at me as if to say "what are you doing here." After seeing the Dr.(and i use the term loosely), I can understand now that she must really hate her job and her employer. When I got there, a man was getting out of his car and in so much pain he could not stand up and was laying on the sidewalk until the pain subsided. The chiro(Dan I believe) came out and practically forced him to get up bc he was worried about how it would look or if he would run into any insurance problems if somebody saw the man laying outside. That should have been my first clue. When I finally got back, I told him that I would rather not have my neck adjusted - just my back - bc I've had a couple bad experiences after neck adjustments. He told me he was the doctor and he knew what he was doing and he's never had a problem or complaint after a neck adjustment. I said that I knew he knew what he was doing, but I would prefer to not have my neck adjusted due to previous experiences. He then told me that he would not do the adjustment if I would not have my neck adjusted too bc he was the professional and there was no point in him doing anything if I wouldn't get have my neck done too and that if I didn't want him to adjust my neck then I should go elsewhere because he wasn't going to do it. It was very much as one other reviewer said - you are there to listen to them and not to speak. He knows what is right and it doesn't matter what you think - end of story. A horrible experience from start to finish. Needless to say, I walked out.

I took my daughter who is experiencing lower back pain & Dr. Sheldon was absolutely amazing. He listened to her & explained everything as he was adjusting her. She felt comfortable with him & it made her at ease when he told her he use to work with other track athletes like herself. Great experience & would definitely recommend.

Didn't care for the previous Dr. We started going only on Saturdays when Dr Sheldon was there. He has now taken over the office and is there most day (I think I may take weds off). Can't recommend him enough. He is awesome.

This is a great chiropractic clinic! Dr. Sheldon and Dr. Chase are the best of the best! I'm so grateful for them and their treatment of our family. For anyone new, researching these reviews, there was a previous chiropractor at this location that was not so good.
