Afterwards, she moved to Atlanta to focus on her post-graduate education at Life University: a natural choice as she had been under chiropractic care since infancy. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2011 from Life University, Marietta GA. With a passion for women’s health, her research on Infertility and Chiropractic was published in the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health.

Through Dr. Erika’s professional journey, she has served all ages including infants through geriatrics for the management of a wide array of issues including headaches, neck pain, upper back pain, sciatica and of course maintenance or wellness care. She has been able to help others achieve their health goals through an optimal functioning nervous system and a well-adjusted spine, balancing the brain-body connection. Growing up in Sidney, Ohio, Dr. Logan Calvert was profoundly impacted through his upbringing to be of service to others.

“I believe that people are brought into our lives for specific reasons. They support us to raise the bar and help us to create a level of excellence in our lives. My Family did just that for me. The role models in my life believed the greatest thing you can do is to love and serve others. That became the foundation of my life. I could not imagine doing anything else- other than helping people.”

Dr. Logan attended Ohio State University and Life University Marietta Georgia. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then a Doctorate in Chiropractic in March 2022. He worked briefly in a Marietta, Georgia practice before joining the DC ranks of The Joint Chiropractic. He joined The Joint Sandy Springs and The Joint Dunwoody locations, in November 2023.

When asked to describe the best thing about being in the Chiropractic field, Dr. Logan says:

“I get to see lives transform. Nothing is more rewarding than helping others experience a happier, healthier, and overall better version of themselves. Nothing is better! I love teaching and sharing the philosophy of chiropractic care. It is the why of our profession. It answers and addresses the body’s needs in terms of functionality and wellbeing.”

When asked to share the driving force behind his choice to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Logan offers a few great stories:

“I was very close to my grandfather. After his passing I kept seeing an image of me being a chiropractor. With an undergrad degree in biology, I could have gone in several directions. But every time I questioned directions away from chiropractic, I was presented with that image. I felt I was being guided to keep my focus on the steps needed to become a Doctor of Chiropractic”.

“When my brother experienced post-concussion vision loss and healed from a series of specific and intense Chiropractic adjustments and then ditched his glasses after, it was just further confirmation for me, that this was my path.”

I’ve been a patient for over a year and will probably be one until the day I die. When I first went to The Joint I had a lot of lower back troubles that were paired with a migraine that would bring me to tears. Now I go once a week for a weekly adjustment and haven’t had those painful back troubles nor the migraines. Coming to The Joint has truly been life changing for me. I was super hesitant about joining another membership place where I’d just be another member number, that is so not the case here.

    I am 5 months pregnant and had THE WORST pinched nerve in my lower back. I went to two hospitals and three urgent cares to get help, I couldn’t even walk, and no one could do anything for me. I found Dr. Erika on accident by talking to the super helpful man-ceptionist. She worked her magic. The next morning I was SUPER sore and thought I had gotten worse but over the day whatever was pinched became unpinched and I am totally fixed.     ABSTRACT: I go in today because I was in a lot of pain and felt ill. As I was ready to go back for treatment I saw a doctor walk out of the front door. I asked the assistant if he ( the doctor) was was coming back ...and the only reason that I asked is because the chiropractor looked strong enough to adjust me ( I'm 245lbs). The assistant said that there was another doc there who was female... I hesitated and said ok. when I got back to the treatment theater, it was a doctor whom I recognized... She told me (in a very arrogant and disdainful tone) that she over heard me and that she took offense to me asking to be adjusted by a male doctor, and that I can wait for him to come back. She tells me that her name is on the door and to basically recognize her presence. CONCLUSION: Very unprofessional, absolutely bad energy, No respect for a sick patient.

    Erica is amazing! She helped me through my entire pregnancy with twins, I was up and moving around until I delivered. Walk in service is a plus, and when seen it is a quick but thorough service. The doctors show genuine concern for your pain but also get to know patients on a personal level.     First off I was very skeptical about going to the chiropractor. I woke up Sunday morning, I must have twisted the wrong way pulled my back out of place. I waited in pain until Friday. I found The Joint Chiropractor online. They scheduled me in the same day for a great price to get evaluated and adjusted. It was super fast and I immediately felt better after they adjusted my back.     Very disappointed. I've never had a chiropractor absolutely not listen to me. I've had the same condition a dozen times and it was corrected the same way every time with one adjustment technique. I went to the Joint 3 times and explained it and they did what they wanted and not what I needed. I left in tears and pain last time. That same day I was going to try to have my wife adjust me the way that corrects me every time, but before that, I hung from my chin up bar for a few minutes and twisted the right way and got it to pop back into place myself. A doctor that won't listen is useless in my opinion and I'm cancelling my membership. I gave 2 stars instead of one, because they are good and convenient for basic adjustments.

    I went in yesterday after several days of very difficult walking and nearly impossible sleep. The doctor listened and explained what he thought was going on. After a few different adjustments he explained his suggested self-care (ice and pain relievers) and recommendations for future visits; there was no hard sell. Last night was my first night of sleep in 4 days and today I have nearly zero pain after days of “7-8+” pain with 10 being the need to go to the hospital.     I just started going earlier this week but after two visits my back has improved TREMENDOUSLY. I work as an animator so I spend a lot of time hunched over my desk working on projects and most of the time in a lot of lower back pain. After my first adjustment a lot of that pain was relieved very quickly! I was able to work more comfortably and I felt a lot more flexible.
