    This is a waste of time. I asked all questions to lead to yes I would get an adjustment. I was asked for prior scans. I pulled them up, emailed them and even had the Dr. read the report from my phone. I was told until they get the actual report in hand I could not get an adjustment. What a waste of gas & time. I have been trying to cancel my membership and despite submitting everything in time, they charged me silently the next day without informing me, as apparently they "forgot to put it in the system". After I noticed that on my card, I have been going in a spiral with them with no resolution yet. Their central team did call and are trying to see what went wrong but I still have a charge on my card and have wasted a lot of time on calls and multiple emails and messages with them.     I am very disappointed with my experience with The Joint Chiropractic. I first went to the Loganville location. I do not speak English very well, and because the staff there only spoke English, I had difficulty understanding the doctor and what was being explained to me. They recommended that I go to the Snellville location because they have staff who speak both Spanish and English and could explain everything to me more clearly. At the Snellville location, everything was explained to me in Spanish. I was told that I would pay $150 for my sessions and that I needed to come twice a week. They also explained that there was a promotion, which I understood was the reason for the $150 price. After that, I was handed a tablet to sign what was presented to me as patient/practice policies and paperwork. At no point was it clearly explained to me in Spanish that I was signing up for an ongoing membership or authorizing recurring membership charges. If that had been clearly explained to me, I would not have agreed to it. I understood that I was providing my digital signature for the paperwork that had been explained to me. I did NOT knowingly agree to have that signature used to enroll me in a membership that I did not understand existed. When I later discovered the membership, I contacted them and explained that this was not what had been communicated to me and that I did not agree to an ongoing membership. My biggest concern is that I was specifically sent to the Snellville location so that everything could be explained to me in Spanish and I could fully understand what I was agreeing to. Yet something as important as an ongoing membership was never clearly explained to me. I believe patients should be clearly told, in a language they understand, when they are entering into a membership, how much they will be charged, how often they will be charged, and how cancellation works BEFORE being asked to provide a digital signature. Simply handing someone a tablet to sign is not the same as making sure they understand what they are agreeing to. I would not have agreed to this membership if it had been properly explained to me.

    My early experiences with Dr. Mendez were good. Unfortunately, that changed over time. On more than three visits, I explained that the final adjustment was causing pain afterward and asked that it simply be performed more slowly. It was the same request every time. Rather than making that adjustment, I was repeatedly given reasons why it couldn't be done, and the adjustment continued to be performed the same way, even after I repeatedly explained that it was causing pain. As a patient, I wasn't asking for a different treatment plan or questioning Dr. Mendez's knowledge or experience. I was simply asking that one part of my adjustment be performed more slowly because it was causing pain. That is what I found most frustrating. I clearly communicated that a specific part of my treatment was causing pain and repeatedly asked for a simple change. Instead of that concern being accommodated, I continued receiving the same adjustment in the same manner until I was ultimately advised to seek care elsewhere. Management later echoed that recommendation. After several years as a loyal member, I took that advice and terminated my membership with The Joint Chiropractic. To this day, I still don't understand why such a simple request to slow down an adjustment that I repeatedly explained was causing pain couldn't be accommodated. Patients should be able to communicate when something is causing pain and expect that concern to be taken seriously. My experience left me feeling that my repeated requests were dismissed rather than thoughtfully considered. I hope future patients who communicate similar concerns have a different experience.

    On our first and last visit, the chiropractic shook his head no before I finished my first question/sentence. I don't usually get greeted with a negative non-verbal gesture. Everyone's job has an element of customer service in it. There was a confusing claim that the computer went down and they couldn't see me. Then my husband walked in and the chiropractic said come on back to him assuming he was a patient. How can the computer be down for one pt and be up for the other? The receptionist was polite, but what we were told didn't add up.

    I recently visitedThe Joint Chiropractic i had been unable to stand vertically for four days I was on the last day of sick time left from my very physical warehouse job. I just got a promotion and was due to start the day after my visit. I have always had a serious fear of going to a chiropractor the thought of someone aligning my bones was not appealing to me at all. The pain became unbearable so being open minded became necessary. Upon entering I was greeted by Ashley. She was kind informative and compassionate which made me relax.     The joint Snellville has a wonderful staff! Jenny at the front is so welcoming and such a pleasure to be greeted by. My favorite Dr. Is Dr. Kratz who is very patient and helped me feel relaxed and comfortable for my adjustments when I came in with severe neck pain 3 weeks ago. He has great bedside manner and knows his stuff, unfortunately he is only there on the weekends. Dr. Mendez is also good and is there full time during the week.

    I love this location! The provider there is always kind and remembers every detail about me and what’s important to me. The ladies at the front desk are always very welcoming and helpful. I in fact got a neck sprain in my most recent visit with them. Beware before you sign anything with them.     I have been having chronic lower back pain for awhile and decided to look for a good chiropractor. A friend recommended the Joint Chiropractor in Loganville but I decided to check out the Joint Chiropractor in Snellville because of the reviews of Dr. Mendez. I can personally say now that she is good‼️ I have only had one adjustment and I feel a difference already. My body is already giving me responding signs. My treatment plan has been set and I look forward to my next visit with you. Dr. Mendez is helping me with sciatic, herniated disc problems. Its been almost 6 months and my range of motion has increased, circulation feels better muscle tightness and spasms have lessened. Sciatic nerve pain no longer. I am continuing treatment for better results in my lumbar area and body maintenance.     I had never been to a chiropractor before, I found the joint on google and decided why not try it. I don’t think I’ll ever stop coming, Dr Mendez (sorry if I spell it wrong) is amazing. I’ve had back pain since I was a kid and I thought it was normal. I feel so much better thanks to her. I love how affordable they are and how kind and caring everyone here is. On top of that the check in process is so fast and I never have to wait too long!!! Definitely recommend to everyone.

    I always get a warm welcome as I come in. Mrs.Medez appears to be the only one to adjust me the right way. The other technicians are too soft, and I end up needing another adjustment shortly after. I love their hours of operation. You can’t beat the price either.

    I highly recommend The Joint if you're currently looking for a chiropractor!! When I first started looking for a chiropractor I was having such bad back pain that I was in tears whenever I moved. My problem was finding one that I could afford since my insurance doesn't cover chiropractics, when I found The Joint I was happy to see that the prices were so reasonable. I started my membership and after my first few visits I already felt better but after my first month of visits I felt no pain at all. I was able to move without being restricted and I finally felt comfortable. They email all sorts of different workouts and stretches and exercises to help while I'm at home (which helps out a lot on days when you're too busy to get to the chiropractor). It feels amazing to be able to get such great care without breaking the bank !

    Dr Mendez and Meagan are AMAZING! I had been going for weekly massages for the past 2 months trying to relieve my shoulder pain. I dropped in for a visit as a walk in and was kindly greeted and given an adjustment that has 100% alleviated all of my discomfort. They explained pricing, pay as you go, bulk package prices and memberships without any pressure to chose 1 over the other. I’ve been coming twice a week for the past few weeks and I feel amazing! My pain relief has lasted, it’s not just a bandaid where you wake up just as sore the next day. She gave me simple at home stretches and explained where my pain was coming from. I give them 5 stars!     Was injured by "Dr." McGowan digging into my lower back despite telling him I have chronic lower back issues. Returned to get adjusted by Dr. Mendez to try and correct the issue, went was adjusted and felt great. She said "You're going to want to come back in two days" and sure enough my back went out again and I was in pain. I went to see her and indicated I was in pain which again was caused by another doctor in the practice, "Dr." McGowan, I get there and without looking at me, touching me or examining me in any way shape or form she says "You need an XRAY" and refuses to adjust me. Reached out to Joe Burum the owner who assures me he is going to handle it, look into it, have it reviewed and call me back. Never heard back! Had my husband pop my back and my pain is gone. THANKS FOR NOTHING! Find yourself another location for care.

    I arrived at 5:50 PM and asked if I could be seen for a quick adjustment. I’ve been here before, so I’m already in the system and wasn’t looking for a full exam—just a simple adjustment like I’ve received in the past, which usually only takes a few minutes. Despite there being only a few people in the waiting area and the office still having over an hour before closing, the receptionist told me there wasn’t enough time and refused to assist. I tried to explain that I understood their process and wasn’t a new patient, but she wasn’t willing to help. The experience felt dismissive and unprofessional. It came across as if closing on time was more important than helping a returning patient. Unfortunately, this reminded me why I canceled my membership before. I wouldn’t recommend this location based on this experience.

    I have never been to a chiropractor. Dr. Mendez is the absolute best. She really takes her time and explains everything very well. I have seen the other Doctors and did not like them. They seemed to be in a rush. When you tell them where your pain is them seem to not really listen. They didn't do anything like Dr. Mendez. I will only see her and no one else. The receptionist Megan ( I believe is her name ) is absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and honest. I had to cancel my membership due to other back problems. I still had 2 visits left and when I went in my membership had been completely canceled, thankfully meghan honored my visit. I still have one visit but won't be able to go. Thank you to Dr. Mendez and Megan for being so awesome.

    I started going here a couple of months ago, been here a couple times. Due to work schedule I had to cancel my monthly $20 membership. I emailed my notice of cancelation a week before the next payment was due, I was also told that as long as they receive it 2 days before then I would not get charged....     They are quick. I had a adjustment and the lady pulled my neck twice. First time I was relaxed and nothing cracked, she pulled again and immediate pain gave me a lite headache. I haven’t been back since and was actually paying for months until I finally cancelled.

    We have been longtime members of this location, which has been great! Most recently our 8 year old son injured his back and had to start seeing Dr. Mendez for weekly care/adjustments. To say she has went over and beyond with him and our family is an understatement. She shows genuine concern with him and his progress.     Trash trash trash. The lady that did the “adjustments” for me was like in a rush even though there was no one else in the place. She was moving really fast on the adjustments for no reason and it hurt like hell for no reason. I would not recommend at all. Like there has been nothing good about the experience. My neck and back also hurt more than when I got there. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.

    I come here at least once each week for adjustments. I used to have a ton of pain from my athletic days, but since visiting here regularly I rarely have any issues with pain and I’m usually given helpful tips to remain in good physical shape.     I paid for 6 sessions upfront, the first appointment went well, the second one i got my left shoulder messed up, i couldn't lift it for about 5 minutes, i left with a harsh pain, then had to pay an orthopedist and physical therapy for about 8 sessions. never again!!!

    I like the people. Everyone has been very nice but no one has been able to adjust my lower back and hips. I’ve been 7 times this month with no change. I will try another location this following month to try and find someone who can adjust my lower back. Fingers crossed. Update: Went back and found one person that can make the adjustment I'm looking for. Limits me to only going on Wednesday and Friday but it's better than nothing. 2nd Update: FOUND SOMEONE WHO CAN MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT!!! Angelica is the man!! She's the best. I will only see her and I suggest the same for everyone who visits! She will make sure to target where the problem is and make a game plan for fixing it. LOVE HER!! Changed my 3 Stars to 5!

My initial visit had a consultation that really addressed my trouble areas and thoroughly planned out a way to realign 10 years of pain from a shifted pelvis.     I wish I could give two reviews, one for Dr Prather who was very caring, hands on, and gave me a great adjustment. She gets 5 stars and I highly recommend her. The 1 star is for the weekend Doctor, Dr Weston. He was horrible... he didn’t look at my chart, had no idea all the issues that are going on with my body. Had no idea I had just taken a fall two weeks ago. Had no idea that I have had 6 surgeries on my right leg. Had no idea that I have osteoporosis in my spine. He Started at my feet with the activator (through my shoes), quickly clicked it up my spine to my neck. (Half the time the activator wasn’t even touching my back as he clicked away) He didn’t check for any rib heads that were out. Used the drop table on my pelvis, didn’t do any leg tests to see if he put my pelvis into alignment. Which I could tell was out worse, than when I went in. Turned me to my back and cranked my neck from side to side before it hit the table. Causing me pain and a headache instantly. My adjustment took, 1 min max. If I had never been to a Chirpractor before, I would never go back. But since I have been seeing Chirpractors off and on for over 30 years, I know the difference between a good one and bad one. Dr Weston does not have any bedside manners, and I am shocked he has a Chirpractor license. I will make sure to go back to the office for my adjustments, Monday - Friday for now on, for Dr Prather. The girls at the front desk, are super sweet, they make you feel welcomed.

    2nd time here for a shoulder injury and the dr that i saw on my initial visit sat me down went over some steps of healing it, and asked me to come in two more times. I went back in on Friday, was rushed through the adjustment she didn’t even touch my shoulder, when i asked she said oo you probably hurt your rotator cuff so you need to go to your primary care dr. Which is completely different from what the first dr i saw there had diagnosed it as. I will not come back here it was a waste of time and money, the dr that was there on Friday is rushing trying to get people in and out. I was not even there 3 minutes and was rushed through everything, and not even going over what i was initially there for.

    I came for the inexpensive $29 new patient special and immediately signed up for the monthly subscription.     This place is awesome. I woke up with a super stiff neck and wasn't sure if I should go to hospital or what. I found The Joint online and it was close to me. Well I was nervous bc I never been to chiropractor but she was very informative in letting me know what she was doing. And considered my pain and was very patient with how slow I was moving.     Omg, where do I begin? I just love Dr.Prather. I’ve seen her now for I believe 6 adjustments and she’s been amazing. I been having severe pain in my right should, neck and back for some years now did PT, cortisone shots etc it helped for some time and the pain came back with avengence so now I’m seeming Dr.Prather and I’m starting to feel much better, sleeping better etc. Receptionist Shy is wonderful also. She is always welcoming and helpful. I seen Dr.Holtz (I believe that’s what his name was) once when Dr.Prather was out and he was amazing also. I highly recommend this place.

    The quality varies from practitioner to practitioner. My first visit was phenomenal and I decided to get the membership (4 visits a month) almost the same cost of a single trip to another chiropractor. My second visit was this morning (11/22/18 ~11:30 AM). The practitioner on staff saw three people in less than 10 minutes and started off by calling me the wrong name. This was a little concerning because the name belonged to a man 20 years older, 2 feet shorter, and likely with a drastically different health record. When it was my turn, the practitioner rushed through the adjustment. At one point, he asked me to turn on my side and began adjusting before I completely turned. This resulted in an unintentional popping in my elbow that surprised the chiropractor himself (naturally, it freaked me out...). As of now, I don't think there was any damage done but I believe that the whole thing could've been avoided if he slowed down on his adjustments and took his time on each patient. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name but I will be a little more selective with the chiropractors I visit at this location.

    I had my first and last visit here today. I just moved back to Georgia from out of state. When I was called in back, I felt rushed and the doctor seemed to be rushing me. He did adjust me good, but when it came to the neck adjustment, I had not laid my head back fully and he was already trying to adjust it before I had let my neck muscles loose. I have been going to a chiropractor for 12 years now. I have never had a headache and this much stiffness still in my neck from getting my neck realigned. I refuse to go back here. Its seems the doctor is all about quick in and out and cares more about the bucks then his patients. Also too, the do not accept health insurance.

    Service when I went was excellent. Trying to cancel your membership is another story. I joined at this location but live out of state. I liked I could use the membership anywhere. Well, when you want to cancel, you have to do it at the location you originally signed up at. I thought everything was cancelled after speaking to the person on the other side of the phone but this was not the case. I continued to be charged. This is the number one complaint I found out. Just be wary if you go for the monthly membership.

    I'd love to review the service but can't as everytime I come here I'm told they're not accepting new patients and to come back tomorrow. I work a lot so if you can't help someone when they walk in and don't take appointments don't advertise walk-ins welcome.

    I have been a patient of The Joint since it opened and I trust Dr. Cecil. I was an unhappy camper yesterday when I arrived I was told that their was a 20 minute wait Dr. Cecil had a new patient told the receptionist sign me in will be back in 15 minutes and when I came back was told that he was seeing another new patient expected me to wait another 20 minutes walked out. I was in my car right outside waiting and the receptionist who was filling in didn't seem to care about existing patients.

    During THANKSgiving ... my Wife and I are especially grateful ... for the "corrective" adjustments Dr. Ronald Ciesiel of the Joint - Snellville gave us; during, our recent Georgia work assignment. We travel the East Coast for work; and, need relief ... due, to: hauling luggage, driving stress, and various beds! ouch. Wellness Coordinator: Becca was extremely helpful & supportive!
