Dr. Jason Hontz is a Chiropractic Physician born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from the University of Western States in 2011 where he earned his bachelors degree in human biology, a masters degree in functional medicine and human nutrition and a doctoral degree in chiropractic. He began his chiropractic career in Everett, WA before he eventually made his way to Boise, Idaho where he joined The Joint Chiropractic in September 2021.

Dr. Hontz has been successful in treating a variety of neuromusculoskeletal health conditions ranging from auto, work and sports injuries as well as everyday aches and pains using a a combination of therapeutic techniques. Fundamentally, he recognizes the inherent wisdom of the body to heal itself and seeks to empower patients to take action by incorporating spinal manipulative therapy, rehabilitative exercises, clinical nutrition and other lifestyle modifications that not only help people get out of pain naturally but optimize overall all health and wellbeing.

Dr. Hontz is excited to be living in Boise with his wife and five children. When he’s not working with his patients to achieve their health goals you can find him with his family exploring the beautiful great outdoors. He enjoys being physically active through fitness training, hiking, the martial arts and spending quality time with his family.

The most noteworthy items you’ll find in Dr. Hontz’s kitchen is a lazy Susan full of high quality bioavailable nutritional supplements that he takes every day to provide the body the building blocks necessary to perpetuate optimal health and vitality.

One of the most thrilling adventures he’s ever experienced is sky diving. He thought it would be the best thing to do to overcome his fear of heights. He describes a great sense of peace and connection with the universe following the few seconds of sheer terror in free fall. Unfortunately his fear of heights was made worse following the event but nevertheless he is thankful to be alive.

A midwesterner at heart Dr Brandon Riebling was born and raised in Sheboygan County Wisconsin.

He is a US Army Veteran who served 8 years during which time he served as a Gun Truck Commander on tour in Iraq in 2006-7. While serving he sustained a significant lower back disc injury which led him to Chiropractic on his journey to recovery.

Following his return from deployment home he attended University Wisconsin Milwaukee Lubar School of Business. During his undergraduate program he had found great personal success with his own injuries through the use of Chiropractic care inspiring him to alter course and embark on the quest to become a Chiropractor himself.

He then attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic Davenport Campus where he earned a Bachelors in Science alongside his Doctorate of Chiropractic acquiring the knowledge and skillsets to provide others quality care and a pain free healthy lifestyle.

He is well versed in multiple techniques such as Thompson Advanced Segmental Drop Table, Diversified, Gonstead, Activator Method and Blair Upper Cervical Specific and McKenzie Method in order to adapt treatment to fit the patient's needs.

Graduating Palmer in 2015 he has been in practice for 10 years and honed his craft working at multiple clinics throughout the country in Seattle, Denver, and Madison before landing in the Treasure Valley where he purchased a home and currently lives with his girlfriend Alyssa and her dog Theo.

They love to be active outdoors and spend much of his summer paddle boarding, kayaking, and camping and winters visiting hot springs and snowboarding or working on house projects. They also enjoy visiting new food spots and breweries or distilleries for a tasty grub and craft cocktails.

Dr. James Salmon, D.C., is a licensed chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Boise, Idaho, providing patient-focused, evidence-informed chiropractic care to individuals and families in the Treasure Valley. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University in April 2022 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from BYU–Idaho in 2018. Dr. Salmon also holds a Master of Science in Sport Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University, strengthening his clinical approach to movement, recovery, and pain management.

 

Dr. Salmon is passionate about helping patients of all ages — including infants and children — move without pain and improve their overall quality of life through conservative, non-invasive chiropractic care. Before relocating to Idaho, he served as a lead chiropractor in Dallas, Texas, where he gained valuable experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Outside the clinic, Dr. Salmon enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with his wife, Allison, and their four sons.
