Typically, I am not one who leaves reviews. Actions and service speak louder than written words. On occasion, I will leave a review. This is one of those times. This office has a Great staff, great environment. Awesome results thus far. I have had neck pain for years that I just got used to. Honestly, I was scared to go to a chiropractor. My experience started with Jane who is the office manager. She is a very caring and kind person who listened to my concerns and hesitations followed by addressing each fear to give me peace of mind moving forward. Dr Jennings, Dr York, Dr Lee, and Dr Tim have all been life savers. All do a good job listening to the patient and coming up with a plan to have us at our best. They have a great deal for a monthly membership for maintenance adjustments on your body as well. I highly recommend signing up for the monthly membership even if it’s for a few months. It locks in the price. I would also ask Jane about the first month add on bundle too because it helped seeing the doctor twice a week to jumpstart the plan. This place is ran efficiently too. I think the longest I ever had to wait was 10 minutes to see a doctor. Each time you visit, you’ll be greeted the same level of customer service and care as your first visit! This is something you do not always see in today’s world.

Well I just started going to the joint chiropractor clinic, had 2 visits so far, my first visit was with Dr Vernon York, which gave me relief from my sciatic nerve that was causing pain from my left hip all the way down my leg to my ankle, and after the first visit I was feeling better, my second visit was with Dr Arianna Lee, I explained to Dr Lee that my ankle was the only pain that I was having, and she did some adjustments like Dr York did, and about an hour after I had left my ankle stopped hurting, I'm going to continue to go see Dr York or Dr Lee to continue to be pain free, I'm a 58 year old roofer so I can not climb up a ladder or a roof if I'm in pain, so I just want to say thanks to Dr York and Dr Lee for y'alls service I really appreciate y'all giving me some relief from the pain I was having, sincerely David Sylvia

The receptionist, Brittany, is amazing. Remembered my full name after one visit, and I have a difficult last name. Dr. York is great. I would give both of them 5 stars. My biggest issue with this location is the staff turnover, which is quite frequent. I used to have a membership, but since they don’t seem to retain the good practitioners, I’m not purchasing one again.

I was there early even arrive before the doctor was there and was still overlooked by a new patient….this is happen to me many times and the only thing they can do is say sorry …I’m sorry the times that I arrive there I’m expecting services and i haven’t received service from them but I know that they are willing to charge me a bill with no questions asked …I blamed this on the customer services ….i think I should be compensated for the service that was suppose to be given to me and none was received….i would like the owner to reached to me because i have a lot to say….

This was my first time here. My adjustment and consultation was great. However, the only reason I am giving 3 stars is because over the phone, when I initially called, the receptionist told me that my first consultation, exam, and adjustment would be $29. When it came time for me to check out (AFTER receiving my exam and adjustment) I was told in person by the same receptionist that it would only be $29 if i purchased a $79 monthly subscription and that I would not be able to cancel my subscription until 2 months later (So basically, a 2 month subscription requirement of $79 per month). Just beware if you go to this location because they don't tell you this until after your adjustment, exam, and consultation as a new patient. Although, they have flyers in the store that say $29 for new patients. I ended up spending $108 ($29 new patient fee+ $79 monthly fee) as opposed to the real first time single visit fee (which is $45). Like I said, the adjustment service was great but the finance aspect of how it was handled...a little sketchy and dishonest. The paperwork and the finances should have been told to me BEFORE my service.

Tried to stop in while traveling through New Orleans. After a $30 Lyft ride I waited for over an hour and they were still not open and no sign stating the hours had changed. 7 other patients were standing waiting as well. Ended up spending another $30 for a Lyft back to my hotel. Spent $60 with nothing to show for it and wasted 2 hours of my Saturday. This site needs better ownership. Looking at reviews and speaking with the other Joint location in this area, this is a common occurrence. Be sure to call before heading over, cause they are probably closed.

This was my first visit to a chiropractor. My neck had been hurting and with decreased range of motion for about 3 weeks. Dr. Scott was super nice lady and works magic. After she adjusted my neck I have had no pain and am back to full range of motion. The other staff were really nice as well. The place is clean and comfortable. Definately highly recommend.

I travel a lot in my RV, so The Joint chiropractic is great for me with lots of offices. But I drove 30 minutes today to find a printed sign on the door saying this office is closed Tuesday/Thursday through April 1. No updates on their web page; no updates on Google maps. That’s bad customer service. Now I’m leaving town and can’t get the adjustment I needed before I leave.

Went in for an adjustment, which I typically do as needed. I was told that I wouldn’t get anything out of one adjustment. The receptionist was checking my wife and I in when the chiropractor came over and said he didn’t recognize us. He basically refused to adjust us if we didn’t sign up for some plan to keep coming a bunch of times a month. He said he was refusing to do chiropractic a disservice. I’m pretty sure I know what my body needs more than a stranger especially since I’ve been doing it this way for years. Will not be returning. He also had a huge creepy smile the whole time he was telling us that he wouldn’t adjust us.

Kerri did a fantastic job introducing me to all aspects of their clinic, including explaining the sign-up options and pricing, which are super reasonable at this time!. Dr. Miller is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. She explained the techinical aspects of my issues in an understandable way, including a customized treatment plan. I had a LOT of questions and Dr. Miller was very adept at answering them. I was pleasantly amazed at how much time she spent with me on this initial visit. The facility looks new or completely remodeled, and was spacious and comfortable. The extremely flexible walk-in concept is amazing, and a welcome, convenient, alternative to traditional scheduling! Their insanely low initial visit price of $29, (including an adjustment) probably won't last long as they will IMHO, quickly "fill up" their patient load! (I became a regular patient on 7/12/23)

I visited the Joint last week for my lower back pain and shoulder pain. The chiropractor on duty conducted an assessment and explained ways to assist with feeling better. I felt that the initial procedure received my pains significantly and I will be going back to max out the plan selected. The entire staff was very helpful and a special thanks to the young ladies working the front desk and the manager! I do think for tablets that they should switch to iPads because the ones customers use to fill out their information are not very user friendly! Other than that, everything was awesome!???

Seamless. As a walk-in, and without my scan tag, the receptionists were able to process and take me in quickly. During the adjustment Dr. Miller was able to assess me quickly. She was even able to get my lower back, which no one’s been able to do for a very long time! A great visit and experience!

Will Never be back. My first visit did not go well. First off the male Chiropractor that treated me made inappropriate comments about my chest size. Second my total was $98. Woke up the next morning with 4 payments of $98 charged to my bank account.

I am so disheartened by my experience at The Joint Elmwood. I wish I could give it 0 stars. I went in for an appointment and was encouraged to sign up for a membership. I was told that if I didn’t like it or wasn’t using it enough that I could easily cancel. I signed up and I deeply wish I had not. I ended up not using the membership as much as I had wished simply because it is a little too far from my work and house, so after 2 months I decided to cancel. I called to let them know I was cancelling about a week ago (with every intention of still being a customer, just not a membership holder). They told me that to cancel I had to print, fill out a form by hand, scan it and send it back. I was out of town for the holiday so I decided I would get it done the Monday after thanksgiving (thinking I had time to do so). When I went to complete the form on Monday I realized I couldn’t find it in my email so I called and asked them to resend it. They insisted that it had already been sent AND that my membership renewed the previous day (Sunday after thanksgiving) so I’d have to pay for an additional Month before they would cancel. I let them know that I still need the form and asked if they would be kind enough to waive the fee given the holiday week, the fact that I was calling because I didn’t have the form to complete, and the fact that it had literally been hours (not days) since my membership renewed. The person I was speaking with at the front desk told me that I couldn’t cancel without paying an extra month. I asked if it would be possible for me to speak with a manager who might be able to consider the circumstances and possibly offer me assistance and they said I could email them and a manager would get back to me. I was emailed the cancellation forms to a different email address and I filled it out immediately and sent it back asking if I could speak with a manager about the circumstances. The response I received basically told me I could pay for a month and they would cancel. I asked again if there was a number I could call or if there was some way to make an appointment with a manager and no one replied. I waited two days, responded again and asked if I could just speak to someone who might be able to help me with the situation or at least hear me out and I received what I considered to be a rude email back telling me I need to pay for an additional month and refer to the previous emails about their cancellation policy. I think most businesses that value their customers would easily waive the fee in this instance, but even if they decided not to do so- being heard would have been a baseline expectation that they did not meet. It feels unbelievable that I was not allowed to speak with a manager. It makes me feel like I signed up for a scam. I ended up paying for an extra month because I could only ever speak with a front desk agent who implied they had no ability to change the charges, I never spoke to a manager, and I received impersonal rude emails from an unnamed sender. This place really knows how to make a person feel like they don’t matter at all. I would consider myself a polite non-confrontational person. I was polite and kind in all of my interactions, I wish I received that back in their dialogue with me. I would absolutely not recommend signing up for their membership or even going to this business as the way I was treated makes me feel that they don’t value their customers.

Just wasn't treated with the same service as the other offices. The doctor didn't talk to me at all. Didn't even tell me his name. He didn't ask me like is it getting better your pain or how's your arm or your neck or anything. Just crack me an sent me on my way. Wham bam thank you mam. The receptionist just checked me in and didn't tell me where to go. I had to tell her that this was my first time at this location and ask her where to go.. Just not good service.. But thanks for the crack and I won't be back..to this location...

I went yesterday and Dr. Jordan took his time and helped my back! I was so grateful that he wasn't in a hurry and genuinely cared. Dr. Amber and Dr. Ashley are always awesome too! The only reason I wouldn't give this place the complete five stars is inconsistency because sometimes the doctor isn't in or they close early. Just call before you come ;)

The Joint is convenient, practical and effective. I'm able to go weekly to be adjusted. With my history of neck problems this is very important to me. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the doctors are knowledgeable and gentle. I've been with The Joint since before they opened here, when I lives in Houston. Update: Previously I gave 4 stars but after today's "visit" I am very disappointed. I waited more than 45 minutes and still get didn't get treated because there were too many new patients coming in and only one chiropractor available. This was a huge waste of time. What makes it worse is that I have to drive 45 minutes one way because there are no clinics in the greater New Orleans area. This has to improve. If not I have to find care elsewhere.

I rushed to get here before 7 before it closed on Tuesday June 8 to find out it was closed. So messed up bc I had to travel 30 min to get a readjustment and it wasn’t even open. Happened again on March 23. Came at 6:52 before they closed and they were locking the doors. Supposedly they close at 7, apparently not. I asked the receptionist if they were closing early and she said yes. Thanks for wasting my money. Plus I can only come Wednesday’s bc the other chiropractor sucks. He’s brand new, straight out of school with no experience. Worst adjustment I ever had.

Very bizarre experience. Called earlier in the day for an appointment, was told to walk in anytime before 615 PM. Showed up at 5 PM and the doors were locked with people waiting outside. Nobody answered multiple phone calls, no note on the door, nothing. Wasted a lot of time driving to this location.

Visiting from Atlanta I was happy to see that New Orleans finally has a Joint. Stopped in yesterday and Tammy spent almost 25 minutes working with me to help alleviate the pain in my shoulder. Her advice on posture and head alignment was very helpful. I will be going back before I leave town.
