You Need to Get Involved
Once upon a time, getting involved was not an option. You were going to be involved because that was the way of life. If you weren't involved, your entire way of living would suffer. Instead, engage your mind in a hobby, go outdoors, or do an activity that you enjoy. You'll quickly find that the less time you spend in front of a screen, the happier and more productive you're going to feel on a daily basis.
It's absolutely important to take care of your mental health. And while seeing a therapist is definitely an option that you should explore if you want to, it's not the only way to protect yourself.
