Dr. Ronald Patrick joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2018, working in several offices including Saint Peters, Missouri, Chesterfield Missouri, and Creve Coeur, Missouri. In June 2019 he was named Clinic Director at The Joint Chiropractic in Cottleville, located in Saint Peters, Missouri.
Dr. Patrick is originally from Pahrump, Nevada and later Kingston, Tennessee and he originally wanted to be a minister. “When I got older I decided I wanted to become a medical doctor. While looking into alternatives, the first thing I read about chiropractic was that they believed that the power that created the body, healed the body,” says Dr. Patrick. “It seemed like a perfect mix of both my childhood dreams,” he says.
Dr. Patrick attended Logan College of Chiropractic where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology as well as a Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and ultimately his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2010.
Dr. Patrick has an extensive history working in multi-disciplinary settings including interventional pain management and regenerative medicine and has worked on Hall of Fame athletes.
Dr. Patrick says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is, “Helping people find hope again after living in pain.” He says the best thing about working at The Joint Chiropractic in Cottleville is: “Having the ability to delivery affordable, high quality care in a simple, no nonsense system.”
Dr. Patrick enjoys spending time with his daughter Kate, attending church regularly, and running, playing golf and writing.

Dr. Patrick says that he always stocks his fridge with eggs, sausage and tortillas. “I love my breakfast burritos,” he says.
Dr. Patrick could serve breakfast burritos in the evening at his perfect dinner party. Included would be George Lucas, Brandon Sanderson, J. R. R. Tolkien and George R. R. Martin. “I want to see them argue over who really should have ended up on the Iron Throne,” he says.
Dr. Patrick says the coolest thing he has experienced is becoming a father. “There is nothing in the world better than spending time with your kids,” he says.
Dr. Amanda Lovekamp joined The Joint Chiropractic in Saint Peters, Missouri and Chesterfield, Missouri in May 2019.
Dr. Lovekamp was born in a naval hospital in San Diego, California but grew up in Florissant, Missouri and later O’Fallon, Missouri.
Dr. Lovekamp is a 2013 graduate of Truman State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. Her foray into healthcare continued in 2017 when she earned a Masters in Nutrition and Human Performance in 2017 from Logan College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Lovekamp was motivated to get into the chiropractic field after her own positive personal experiences and knew it was her calling. “I have always had the desire to help others, and this field allows me to do that in a non-invasive way,” says Dr. Lovekamp.
Dr. Lovekamp says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Cottleville and Chesterfield is rewarding because of the success stories from patients. She also enjoys “the flexibility, the positive environment and the opportunity to reach many patients,” she says.
Dr. Lovekamp enjoys spending time hiking, lifting weights, cooking, hanging out with her fiancée Phillip and their dog Cupcake.

Dr. Lovekamp says the she always stocks salsa in her refrigerator. “It makes a great addition to almost anything,” she says.
Dr. Lovekamp can provide salsa at her perfect dinner party. It would include her parents, her fiancée and her paternal grandfather whom she never met. “I value the relationship I have with my parents and the relationship my fiancée has with my parents. Together we are all able to talk for hours and have a great time!” she adds.
The coolest thing Dr. Lovekamp has ever done was ziplining through the rain forest of Costa Rica. “I could see, touch, smell and hear the life around me,” she says.
Dr. Mathew Pilgrim joined The Joint Chiropractic in Saint Peters, Missouri in 2018 and quickly garnered a great following among both our weekday and weekend patients. He also works at our offices in Chesterfield, Missouri and Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Dr. Pilgrim is originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He is a 2013 graduate of Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri , where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Dr. Pilgrim knew chiropractic was his ultimate calling after having great experiences with chiropractic growing up and, “I always wanted to help people,” he says.
Dr. Pilgrim says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Cottleville, Chesterfield and Creve Coeur fulfills his desire to help people and he really enjoys meeting so many great patients.
Dr. Pilgrim enjoys spending time outdoors and a little hockey. He and his wife Susan have 2 Labradors named Dudley and Holly.

Dr. Pilgrim says that he always stocks cheese in his fridge. “I’m from Wisconsin, so it’s a given!, he says”
Dr. Pilgrim might choose cheese fondue to serve at his perfect dinner party. Included would be General George S. Patton along with former Presidents Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and George Washington. “They are all key figures in history and would have great stories to tell,” he says.
Dr. Pilgrim counts graduating from chiropractic school as the coolest thing he has ever done.
Dr. Garrett Winkler joined The Joint Chiropractic in Saint Peters, Missouri and Chesterfield, Missouri in March 2019 and has quickly established himself with his patients.
Dr. Winkler is a 2014 graduate of the University of Indiana at Bloomington, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During his time at IU he focused on animal behavior, entrepreneurship and small business management.
Having had great experiences with chiropractic care for his own back pain, he knew it was his calling to become a chiropractor. So it was only natural that his healthcare education culminated with a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic right here in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Winkler says the best thing about being in the chiropractic profession and a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Chesterfield is, “Seeing patients come back without the pain that had been bothering them for so long and hearing patients talk about the things they are able to do again thanks to chiropractic care.”
Dr. Winkler says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Chesterfield is rewarding. “I always liked being able to help other people, and getting to know people every day is so enjoyable and feels right.”
In addition to spending time with his wife Julie, during his free time Dr. Winkler likes to stay active. He enjoys golf, cycling, basketball, soccer and volleyball.

Dr. Winkler has a Morkie named Milly. A Morkie is a maltese and yorkie mix.
Perhaps Milly would join Dr. Winkler at his perfect dinner party. Among those included would be Teddy Roosevelt, John Wooden to gain insight into the mind of one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time, Tom Hanks because he is an interesting, down to earth guy despite all of his fame, and two of his grandparents. “Teddy Roosevelt lived an incredible life,” says Dr. Winkler. “I would want to know all the things he’d seen and the ways he got so much done.”
While that would be interesting, Dr. Winkler says the coolest thing he’s ever done was getting married: “My wife is my best friend and my favorite person. Our wedding day was perfect and is one of the best days of my life so far!”
