After graduating from Truckee High School, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Sonoma State University. Although she enjoyed a successful career, Dr. Pellegrino felt called to pursue work that allowed her to make a more direct and meaningful impact on people’s lives.

That search led her to Life Chiropractic College West, where she fell in love with chiropractic philosophy and the incredible potential of the human body when properly aligned. She found her true calling and graduated cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West. During chiropractic school, Dr. Pellegrino was actively involved in Student Council, the League of Chiropractic Women, and the Extremities Club.

Dr. Pellegrino’s mission is to help people move better, feel better, and live life to their fullest potential. She takes a thorough, individualized approach to care and believes that clear communication and patient education are key to successful outcomes. Patients appreciate her attentive, approachable style and her focus on efficient, results-driven care that fits into busy lifestyles.

She has experience adjusting patients in all stages of life and commonly treats neck and back pain, headaches, TMJ, extremity conditions involving the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles, as well as, prenatal and children. Dr. Julianna Oates is a chiropractor who was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and is grateful to now call Reno home. She is thrilled to be part of the Reno community and loves building lasting relationships with the patients and families she serves. She began her academic journey at Saint Mary’s College of California, where she interned with the Sports Medicine Department as a student athletic trainer. It was during this time that she was first introduced to chiropractic care and witnessed firsthand how impactful it was in helping student athletes recover, perform better, and stay active.

Dr. Oates went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic West. While in chiropractic school, she participated in clubs and attended seminars that helped her discover her true passion for prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care.

She completed her preceptorship in Denver, Colorado, under the mentorship of a well-established pediatric and prenatal chiropractor. This hands-on experience further shaped her approach to care and strengthened her commitment to supporting growing families. Dr. Oates continues to pursue post-graduate education in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic and is Webster trained, with plans to further specialize in this area.

Dr. Oates’s mission is to provide thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized care to patients of all ages, with a special focus on supporting mothers and children through every stage of life.
