Generally a great experience. Today, not so much. Dr. Ramirez was the only chiropractor on duty. She made a poor decision. Instead of getting the two adjustments out of the way before two exams we had waited for an exam already and she had two others waiting. She took care of the one adjustment and then left me sitting there to wait after an exam. I had been there 40 minutes. I left. Bummer. The gal at the front desk had a plan but the dr over rode her. You need not to schedule so.many exams when u only have one practioner.

I'm very familiar with & accustomed to regular chiropractic care, but after a cross-country move, I was unable to find someone I was comfortable with. A friend recommended Dr Marcus at The Joint. My husband took the lead and after a couple of weeks, I went in.
Dr Marcus was so thorough and discussed wvery issue from my head to my feet. He adjusted every point of pain/discomfort. The relief ive felt just in the first day has been amazing.

Was traveling through this past week on a very long road trip and had my back and hip lock up severely on me. Dr Marcus took great care of me and had me walking with less pain after a couple of days. Really love this place. Different doctors are there different days. So if you like a certain doctor's style, just ask the front desk when they're there. Everyone is different. I took a month off and I definitely noticed the difference in my spine and my migraines. I missed work because of the pain. So I know for a fact this treatment benefits me quite a bit.

Marcus seriously does magic. Every so often I have pain in my neck area and frequent headaches and ever since I started seeing Marcus on a regular basis it is so helpful. And the body, Rejoice! ??? I forgot how free my upper back felt after a visit to the chiropractor! I had been hesitant to see a Chiropractor as nobody ever matched up to my Doctor back home. Well, I finally made the appointment and I'm so glad I did! 4 visits to my guy back home would have been $160 for 4 visits a month. $79 a month for 4 visits is much more sensible. Dr. Marcus located on 528 (alameda) is sublime. He has seen me at my worst and has been able to help me, especially on a few days when I had difficulty walking, sitting and standing. Those are bad days to say the least. However, with his holistic and in depth knowledge of the complexities of the body, he has been able to help me multiple times. After seeing him and getting an adjustment and some exercises, I have been able to leave on my own accord and drive after seeing him. I assure you, this was no small feat. And I am deeply grateful.
I find chiropractic care an essential part of my health and feel so lucky I have Dr. Marcus around to help me maintain good physical function. And of course, with good physical function follows strong psychological health.

I had a first time visit with Dr. Ruben, I came in with intense lower back pain, and some uncomfortable middle back pain. He was very knowledgeable, understanding, kind, and made me feel very comfortable. He informed me on my condition, and helped me become aware of the steps I’ll have to do for my pain. Horrible customer service on this locations part. Do not recommend going to this location as long as the front staff is there, she was not professional. I arrived with plenty of time and after sitting there for 16 mins, she decided getting off on time was more important than to service the customer who was already checked in and waiting.

There was no change in my pain when I left. The Dr "adjusted" me (I feel the adjustment he did was a joke), and I told him I still feel pain in that area, to which he ignored it and just started talking. The "adjustment" he did was less than five minutes and didn't focus on the main area of concern. He spent more time arguing with me about what exercises I should be doing than doing the actual adjustment. I feel he was more focused on me having chronic pain so it would force me back and getting a package plan, then actually helping me. He even told me about how his clients still have pain the next day. I've never had pain after leaving any other chiropractors office, and I've been to several different chiropractors as I'm always moving for work. This was the worst experience with a chiropractor I have ever had.

I think it’s a little too expensive and I don’t see no change on my health and heads up I try to get out and cancel my every month fee now they are saying that it was a six months commitment which no one told me about it I need to call my bank and cancel my credit card.

Never seems to be open. I’ve come by numerous times since it’s so close to my home. Says it opens at 10am. Have sat out front waiting past 10:30 and no one shows up. Same thing has happened in the afternoon. Supposedly reopens at 2:45. Have sat well past 3pm with no one showing up. I’m not really sure how this location stays open. I haven’t had this problem with other locations in ABQ?

Rudest receptionist I've ever encountered, 1st meets me at the door and asks me "what do I want?" I said "an adjustment", then asks "can you park in the handicapped space?" I said "yes".
I've had 2 hips and a knee replaced and have a Temporary Handicap Placard until I get the blue one that hangs on the rear view mirror. I don't hang the expired one and there is no way to hang the Temp Paper. Then after I leave she calls my employer to complain about me.

Started going 2 weeks ago. So far it's been AMAZING! Paperwork for first timers isn't too lengthy. The chiropractor is super friendly, energetic and great at what she does. Pricing is affordable! I've seen reviews about wait times, but it is a walk in clinic, so wait times are going to vary depending on what time of day you try to go. I haven't waited longer than 20 minutes to be seen. No complaints from me (:

My husband went in after Thanksgiving when he had thrown his back out. The doctor, Lorreine Texidor Feliciano, was wonderful! She asked appropriate questions and took her time doing a good exam. She had to do several adjustments, but was able to finally get things back in alignment. He has been back several times since & notices improvement each time. He has been totally satisfied with each visit and cannot recommend her enough!

I have been going once weekly for several years and it is by far it is by far the most affordable and low stress way for regular routine care. The downside is they have a high turnover rate with doctors but the upside is I have liked all of them and they really listen to what you think is best for yourself.

There are a bunch of low reviews on yelp about this place, but I decided to give it a go. Dr. Ramirez is a miracle worker. It did take an hour and a half to get seen (for the first time) however it looked like 30 mins or less wait if you had been before.

For my first experience it was an amazing relief, my commute to work is destroying my body, was at a comfort level of 10%, after my visit my comfort level is about 90%, I'm sure my next few visits will bring me to 100% I will definitely be getting some sleep tonight. Very polite and great costumer service, the chiropractor seemed very knowledgeable. Definitely made my day thank you.
UPDATE: cancelled membership a month ago didn't even use the last three visits I already paid for, had to go in and sign papers to cancel so I did and way before monthly payment was due and they still withdrew the money.

Okay so from TX and went through NM and stopped at this location. Dr Erin is THE FING BEST!!!!! I'm so sad I don't live in NM for her. Period. Every chiropractor should be as knowledgeable and helpful as she is. It's insane!!! I've never felt better I saw her and she fixed my pain and didn't just go though the motions she legit took her time and FIXED it. Whoever runs these needs to go see her and have her train EVERY LOCATION because I've never had a chiropractor do what she did. We even went back and I had my husband see her too. Seriously Dr Erin is AMAZING! Give her more money!

The chiropractic work was fine. I don't think it really helped or harmed me so it didn't feel like it was worth my time and money in the end. The chiropractors were nice and helpful in figuring out what treatment was needed but I don't really feel like their treatment actually benefitted me at all. The docs are nice at least.
Waits could often be pretty long and this was difficult to deal with when I had back pain and sciatica while sitting in the waiting area.
Receptionists did the bare minimum for their job and could sometimes be cold and unhelpful. They oftentimes did not seem to care about their jobs.
If you cancel your membership, make sure they send you the confirmation immediately. When I cancelled, they just put my cancellation form in a pile of papers as I left. They continued to bill me for three months and when I finally noticed and called them about it, they didn't care. They refunded my last charge but not the other charges for the other months that I had not received any treatment. Emails to the manager did not help. They completely ignored that I had requested a refund for the months after I had cancelled. Theu did not eve apologuze. Just completely ignored it. I bet they do this pretty often so that they can make money off people who are not even receiving service from them anymore. This is a pretty poor business practice and has left me regretting that I ever paid them for any service in the first place.
After reading multiple reviews of their shady business practices, I'm taking this down to 1 star. They obviously do take advantage of people as much as possible. I'm never going back and definitely going to tell anyone that is contemplating going a chiropractor to go to a different one. My wife was going for a while too. Never again.

Super service for the price! You can't find a better place for fast, reasonably efficient service and open on nights and weekends to get a quick adjustment to the pains that ail us! I have been treated by these folks for about 10 years and will continue to do so. I just wish there was more consistency in the doctor's schedules for the weekends - Dr. Kelly was a fairly consistent treatment regime for me. If they could find a way to post the updated schedule online or get it pushed out to customers via e-mail or text, I would take it as a regular update to help me know who is on each day and where. That would be super helpful to your customers! But thanks for the great years of service!

All of the receptionists were horrible at explaining the contracts. I went in and told them I wanted one month and they told me that was fine... until a month later when they charged me again for a second month that I did not approve to. they then told me that the contract that they gave to me was a minimum of 2 months which I was never told at the beginning. Even after telling them that the receptionist that signed me up for the contract never clarified that it was a minimum of 2 months they refused to give me a refund. There are plenty of other reviews abouy this same issue and you would think that they would fix it and get better receptionists. Just go to a better chiropractic office.

A. Went in in June to get a single treatment that they advertise for $29. In reality, that's just the fee to become a new patient. On top of that you pay for treatments. So it's not $29 for a single treatment to try it out.
B. Ended up signing up for a treatment plan. I explicitly explained that I only wanted the treatments for a month (4 total) because I was moving after that. After the 4th treatment I asked for my account to be cancelled. They said alright. Then I was charged the next month. I called and left multiple voicemails asking for a refund and for my account to be cancelled. I sent multiple emails explaining the situation. To no avail. I was then charged AGAIN! I called relentlessly for hours until someone finally picked up. I calmly and politely explained and she said they would send me a cancellation packet. She also said she would see about trying to get a refund for one month but couldn't do two. I sent the packet in immediately and that was 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received a refund. The treatment was actually pretty good, but the customer relations and business practices are shady and untrustworthy.

DONT NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. I’ve work customer service for 5 years and never would I have treated a customer this way. I called asking how late they accept walk ins and “Kaitlyn or Jacqueline” said they are open to 5 I kept saying okay but how late do you accept walk ins. She says “I don’t think you understand what I’m saying, we are open till 5” I kept trying to explain I understood but obviously they would accept someone who walked in at 4:55. Because she could answer the question she PRETENDED like the phone disconnected. I called back 4 times which were either immediately put on hold or again pretended to be disconnected. She finally answered again. And still couldn’t understand. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. the price is too good to be true

I’ve been coming to The Joint since April of 2019. Although I’ve had a fair share of chiropractors I wasn’t huge fans of, I’ve come across some phenomenal ones. Summer Durling who no longer is with the joint was one of my favorites. Since then; Kelly VonDerLieth, James Hirning, and Ramirez are by far the best chiropractors I’ve come in contact with at The Joint. I frequent the Abq North location once a week. Front desk staff is always amazing. Keep it up guys!!

The NM Joint has extremely poor management & training that ripples through to poor customer service and continual chaos, continual high turnover of doctors and staff, and constant closures with no notice and no service (personally have logged 52 times a clinic has been closed with only a note on the door (which is pretty useless after you have driven there)) when they could post on Facebook, voicemail, email, website, etc. If one clinic out of three is open, even if it is an hour away, they say they are open; but lines are long with backlog of clients from closed clinics trying to be seen.
It is difficult to progress in treatment if skip weeks or month without care due to absent doctors and closures. The Joint's brand promise is convenience and consistency, but it is anything but!
Beware there are no refunds for days closed without service.
They spends lots of money and focus to gain new clients, but don't respect or retain loyal clients, most probably so they can sign new clients up at a higher rate than the older clients paying less.
Never had problems in another state like the problems with the NM managed Joints so it is definitely a management issue with the corporate run NM clinics.
Just a warning to seek better and more consistent care elsewhere - patients deserve better!

There are two people named Bree and Dr. Summer who were not very friendly. Came so my daughter can get an adjustment. Said it would take 30 minutes for her evaluation and adjustment. When I first came, it took my husband and I 20 minutes for evaluation and adjustment, together. Not happy with how they spoke to my husband and I and not sure I want to come back here. The only reason I come to this location is Micky M. And the other female adjuster that I've seen. Tried getting a picture of Bree (front desk) but the pictures didn't come out clear enough.
Got adjusted and Dr. Summer didn't help me up after the adjustment. RUDE AS HELL too while she asked me questions. NOT happy. More than likely will cancel my subscription. I would bow, but they just took my month out yesterday. DONE!

I'm extremely concerned for all people who come into this office. I visited this location last week with my mother. The doctor was sick and coughing. When asked, he said he was out sick the previous day. I watched carefully and the tables were NOT sanitized between customers. He had people waiting in the back and as soon as one person was finished the next got on the table, NO sanitizing in between people. I was absolutely appalled considering the current health crisis. I asked the staff and they said that they were trying to stay open as a "necessary" medical service. As far as I know, this is a "maintenance clinic" with 2 minute adjustments which means people should NOT be exposed to such risk at such a dangerous time in our country! Please do yourself a favor and stay clear of this health risk! For a place that says they are here to help with "health," they are putting so many people, elderly and vulnerable populations, at risk. This is a chain chiropractor, I wish corporate would do their part and shut this place down while we navigate this health crisis. I can only imagine how many vulnerable people across the country are being put at risk. I advised my mom to cancel her "wellness plan" and return to a different chiropractor when it is safe to do so, a chiropractor who actually cares about her. Their constant emails say that our health is priority, but my mom's health WAS NOT priority during her visit. Please protect your loved ones!

Dr's Butterfield and Meek, you two are are amazing! I went in feeling broken with lower back pain so bad I was hardly able to move, walk or sleep due to a remodel project scheduled right after my husband had back surgery. I took on the brunt of the project to protect his back and hurt my own in the process. I got immediate relief from the first visit so I committed to the monthly Wellness Plan. It is well worth it and cheaper than individual visit cost. Over the next couple of weeks I was SO much better. Fast forward 6 months to being able to walk, run & work w/o pain. Waited cause they were at lunch went back and was rudely told that she was just letting in one person and she was the receptionist. I got mad and walked away but I wife said to try it again so I did. This review is based on the person working the front desk. She was very rude and condescending toward me. It had been several months since I had been seen at this clinic so I had to fill out some paperwork which was fine. What was not fine was the receptionists reaction. I was surprised I had to fill out paperwork but again, no big deal. The receptionist threw me shade and said with attitude “That’s what happens when it’s been 3 months since you’ve been seen.” I blew it off thinking she was just having a bad day.
After my visit was over she presented the package plans (as I assume she is supposed to). I kindly declined telling her that I have a chiropractor that I see regularly but come here when I can’t get in there. She then proceeds to basically tell me I’m not welcome there and that I shouldn’t come back if I am not going to make this place my primary chiropractor and not just “use” this place. Isn’t this the business model of this clinic? Of course I know you’d like to get people coming regularly but the basis of this business model allows walk-ins. If this is not what you want as a company, then the model needs to be changed or this receptionist needs to move on to greener pastures.
I have enjoyed the convenience of being able to come to this clinic when I’m not able to get into my regular chiropractor.
I will not be returning though as it seems my type of business is not wanted. I’m very disappointed in this experience.

I just spent $39 on the most useless adjustment ever. The “doc” was unwilling to do a proper adjustment as it was too hard on HIS body. I have been in pain for a few days, and really needed relief. SMH. (EDIT- response to the Joint response.... I presented with an SI joint out. I know my body better than that person, and I told him what I needed to help it. My review stands.)

Really love this place. Different doctors are there different days. So if you like a certain doctor's style, just ask the front desk when they're there. Everyone is different. I took a month off and I definitely noticed the difference in my spine and my migraines. I missed work because of the pain. So I know for a fact this treatment benefits me quite a bit.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I first started going to The Joint, I was having severe sciatic nerve pain. It was extremely painful to walk and I was in pain even when sitting and lying down. I have noticed a huge improvement with my sciatic nerve pain since I started going about a month ago. I could tell a difference right away and with each appointment the pain was less severe and now the pain is gone. I would definitely recommend this location.

Don’t believe they use licensed chiropractors. Went in for a manual adjustment and he didn’t know how. He used an adjusting tool that did nothing for me. In fact the tool is sold on Amazon called adjusting tool. No reason to go to them when I can have a family member use the same tool. He also told me relief would come from stretching not chiropractic work. Wish he would have told me that before waisted time. Went to see another chiropractor and got relief. Don’t waist your time or money. To be fair I gave them one star because the receptionist was helpful.

Don't bother these crack pots won't touch you. My now retired chiropractor was 10 times the chiropractor these people will ever be. Not to mention they expected me to come in once a week when I live 100 miles away. A good chiropractor will get the job done in one visit and you won't need to go back for a year or two.

Dr. DJ Butterfield is the reason I go to the Joint. He gives an above-average quality adjustment over any of the other doctors and I always leave feeling better than I do seeing any other doctor.
With most of their doctors it is an average quality adjustment, sometimes amazing depending on the doctor, but nobody can beat their subscriber prices. The Joint in Corrales is the best because of Dr Butterfield. ♥️

Terminated my contract today. Used to be a great location with doctors who cared. Today I arrived at 10 and the doctor was no where to be seen. The lady at the front desk tried everything in her power to try and contact the doctors, but 15 minutes with no reply I asked to cancel my membership and walked out. If the owner reads this, do not attempt to reach out because I will never go back.

I really have no idea why these people are chiropractors. They could care less about how patients feel. The head of this group Dr Kupla in the Corrales Albuquequerque locale is very cold and robotic. Her talk with patients is about selling some product that she sells for extra revenue. One of the chiropractors there (btw I very much liked him) was trying to help me with a strain in my neck and shoulder. He believed it was a rib and went to adjust it. It was excruciating pain. He felt it crumble beneath. He was concerned that I had osteoporosis and the rib disintegrated. So, he sent me for an x-ray. He suggested I go to the local hospital to get them. In a lot of breath-taking pain and tenderness, I went there. The office did not call me the next day to find out how I was doing or where The xrays were taken. The x-rays were supposed to be sent to the office. Instead their fax machine wasn't working. They wanted me, the patient they hurt and had no regard for to pick up the x-rays and bring them to them. I was leaving the area and picked up my films. Happily the films were negative, but the pain continued. The head of the Corrales Albuquerque office and I had a few conversations that lead to me texting her. She claimed she had some way to help heal quickly, but never revealed it to me and it is already 1 week later. So, I wanted you to know what little regard you will have as Dr. Kupla's patient. I am horrified she has been given license to do anything.

My wife and used to enjoy coming to the Joint. But as of lately the hours posted sign on the door do not apply. We have gone there several times during posted business hours only to find that there are no doctors in. We used to enjoy going cause there were great doctors and friendly staff. But unfortunately we had to seek our business elsewhere.

Been a patient here for at least 3 years, always been great until the the last several months. They can’t seem to keep doctors on staff and now they are short staffed and the locations are often times not opening or running shorter hours due to no docs. Hopefully they get this strengthened out, but I always call now first.

Didn't even get to walk thru the front door because they advertise incorrect hours! I found this place on google and stopped by because it says walk ins welcome. Google shows their hours as 10 to 7 on Mondays as well as their website and answering message. So I drove out of my way and when I get to thw office there is a note on the door that says Closed Monday's and right below that they have their hours on the window which say open Monday 10 to 7! So frustrating and a waste of my time and gas. Horrible customer service to do this and if they can't even get hours straight then I'd be afraid to see how their office is run, very dissappointed.

My friend and I have been going to the Joint for some time. At first we were not happy with the treatment we were getting from Dr. Moore. For the last few months we've been seeing Dr. Flowers or (occasionally) Dr. Little. Both of them are awsome. We both always feel good after an adjustment. And the feeling lasts a long time. Expectations... I was skeptical of chiropractors. Never really sure if they could help or not. Was skeptical. I've seen a few chiropractors over the years without much success or hope. What I did find was treatment plans that just didn't fit my budget AT ALL. So, while I knew that after about 6 months of having back pain I would have to find help soon, I woke up and took a shower and somehow pulled something in my back to the point where I was in agony and could barely breathe and had a hard time finding a spot where by body could catch a breath without intense pain. I called into work and drove to the last chiropractor I saw expecting to pay about 60 bucks for one visit. It was closed and so I stood there, unevenly, defeated. I checked google for other nearby places and I remember a few of my friends mentioning 'The Joint'. I work at a pain clinic and some of the patients have the little key tag to check in on their keyring. So, I found the closest one. (Corrales Road) and went in. They accept walkins and despite my foul demeanor about having to fill out some paperwork before I could be seen, The customer service girl at the front was patient and helped me complete the bare minimum so that I could get relief. Which was still a lot of paper work but I'm in the medical field so I understand. After the first treatment I could breathe again. What utterly shocked me was the following. When I was in high school back in about 1993, I had my first migraine. They had to wheel me out of the school in a wheelchair after the throwing up stopped and the pain didn't stop. I've suffered from them since. So that's over 20 years. Strangely I've never met a doctor that said hey, you should get an MRI, or hey, You should see a chiropractor to see what they can do. Even the other chiropractors didn't take the time to try to fix me. I know it's an ongoing process but today, It's been about 6 weeks since I've had a migraine. That is to say, after my first treatment and continued treatments, I've been migraine free. So, I'm able to stop taking medication which over time is really really bad for you. I'm not saying that chiropractic work is a cure all but for me it has helped me immensely and I'm very thankful for The Joint. The staff is very friendly and the system is set up well. I stop in and scan my joint card and I'm seen very quickly. I get adjusted and then I'm on my way again. I need to say it again. I am migraine free and I used to get them about 2-3 a week. Thank you guys!
