BEWARE, BEWARE Went in to get an adjustment in mid April. After the consultation I signed up for the 10 visits for $188 dollars total. My wife and I both thought that was a good deal. After a few of my visits I was charged $79.99. I called immediately and was told they haf some how signed me up for a minimum of 3 months without my knowledge. I told the receptionist over the phone no one told me about the 3 months. I had my wife was present and nothing was told to us about the 3 months. I told her I want to cancel and was told it will be a breach of contract. I said how if I wasn't disclosed anything about it. I told her to cancel it and I want a refund for service I haven't received. She canceled my contract and said a manager will reach out. 2 weeks later haven't heard from a manager. Beware of signing anything here.

Convienent & cost effective are big plus, HUGE plus. Super nice doc. I would have felt better if xrays were done first because of my issues. My muscles are so tight that the adjustments hurt way more. I've used chiropractic over 30 years. I need the kid glove treatment my retired chiro used to give. Started with moist heat on my back & then 10 mins or so on a rolling-massage table. Then her adjustments were pretty easy & pain free. I'm only 2 in of 8 recommended. If i keep hurting like this after another adjustment or 2, i wont be continuing. I got adjusted yesterday morning (Thursday). By bed time I was hurting so bad I didnt sleep worth crap. I spent 3/4 of the day stuck in bed because the pain was too overwhelming to move. I've had a headache all day. Nothing got done. I lost a whole day when I should have felt amazing.

PATIENTS BEWARE Now that I have your attention, these guys were absolutely great to work with. Although they didn’t want to see me originally due to me having an open claim still on my insurance from a car accident, they still saw me. They told me the risks about being seen with an open claim still, and I denied them of any liability if they adjust me. They went ahead and adjust my back due to it being very stiff from the accident. I feel like a whole new person after being adjusted. I’m very pleased with them, and being a new patient and getting a new patient deal is a great way to drive traction to them. Great prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff, would definitely recommend to any friends or family in need of a good crack lol!

This review is long overdue. Dr Megan Meek is one of the best chiropractors with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working. She has been adjusting me for years. I’ve left work to travel during rush hour traffic just to go see her, even when she was physically far away. She is worth many miles and hours of travel, especially when I am in pain. I was passing through Albuquerque and in serious need of an adjustment. Google led me to this location, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I get adjusted regularly by my chiropractor, so I know what a proper session should feel like. The service here felt rushed and minimal. Honestly, I could have rolled on a foam roller and gotten the same results. The doctor’s technique was so light that nothing actually adjusted. When I mentioned this, I was told, “Everything will balance out throughout the day.” It didn’t. I left with the same aches and stiffness I walked in with. Paying $55 for such an ineffective session felt like a waste of money. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to others looking for real chiropractic care.

I thought this place was great, until I needed to cancel my membership. My membership renews on the 29th, I called in right before Christmas to cancel because I was going to be out traveling, and they said they could only cancel with me in person. (Ridiculous) so I came as soon as I got back (on the 29th) and asked to cancel and get a refund and the girl was completely rude about it and said her manager is strict and wouldn’t give a refund. I explained the situation and she was sarcastic that she already told my husband. I am not my husband and I don’t expect him to have to give me every little detail when I’m talking to the receptionist. I no longer need to be adjusted at least at this time, and it’s sad to say this experience put a sour taste for me, if I don’t get my refund I will not be going back next time I need adjustments.

First time going to a chiropractor. Very professional and overall experience was great. Dr. Meek is amazing. Pricing is very affordable. Normally I don't go to a Dr. unless it's absolutely necessary, because I don't feel like they really listen or care to really get to the root of the problem, so yea I waited to go see a chiropractor when I thought I couldn't take it anymore. I am so glad a friend recommended The Joint Chiropractic and they do walk-ins and open on weekends it's like wow amazing. Then I get there and I didn't wait long, I thought really what world am I in, and Dr Meek was funny and down to earth, so I paid to go back for the whole next month. Definitely recommend.

I love being a patient and the affordability paired with hours to accommodate any walk ins. But what soured my entire experience was trying to cancel my monthly package of prepaid visits. AVOID THE PACKAGES! It's best to pay per visit. I tried to cancel by calling then went in and signed a form stating I wanted to cancel in person at the clinic. Which I did only to the charged 3 consecutive month's. I emailed only to be told to sign the form I already had which I advised. I had to block the future charges with my bank.

The girl who worked on me was fast, funny, and so effective. As a plus size woman i cannot Tell you how nice it was to have someone who KNEW i wasn't Gonna break and how to get my body to relax and then align! She wasn’t afraid to use force effectively! As a nurse I strongly suggest you stay clear of this business! Unsanitary, and horrible customer service! I went in to cancel my plan October 2022. They convinced me to put my account on a freeze where I would not be charged for 3 months, I agreed and signed the freeze contract in person at the Louisiana location. They still charged me for the last 2 months. I called to request a refund and they are claiming my account was never put on a freeze and had no proof of any contract signed. The woman who answered was argumentative and kept telling me to "listen" and then still asked if I would like to put my account on a freeze for an additional 3 months. Why would I do that when they continue to charge you and claim there is no proof. Such a scam! Horrible customer service, would not recommend to my worst enemy. Additionally, my first visit to the east side location on Wyoming, the chiropractor wore leather gloves and I broke out in a horrible painful rash and could not go in again the entire month I paid for.

Dr Meek is a great Chiropractor. I always receive the best care tailored to my current needs. Receptionist is always very courteous and informative too. We drove an hour and a half to get there and we were one minute late and we got turned away. I understand that new patients take some time for intake but it’s not like we were 30 minutes late. I went yesterday and some new lady about broke me. I've been to a few of these places and this new chiropractor sucks. Every other chiropractor tells you to breath out when they crack you. Not this lady. She tells you to hold your breath. Then puts everything she has to try and pop you while you're holding your breath. Talk about not feeling good. She is the only one I have had do this and it does not feel good.I ended up just letting the air out anyway because she couldn't get me to pop. Surprise I popped once I let the air out of my lungs. The normal staff is great, but don't go here on a Sunday because she works that day.

Dr. Hoberg is an exceptional provider here! She listened to my issues sympathetically and helped me feel leagues better in about 20 minutes. She was also able to figure out the root of my pain far faster than previous providers I’ve had and treated it effectively. Megan was so very gentle and respectful that I was afraid. Her bedside manners were excellent. She joked, and informed me why my body was doing what, taught me exercises and posture. I went in with a back pain and left with torn muscles around my hip flexors. I had to go to the doctor because I could barely walk.. They pushed way too hard when they twisted me. I should've gotten my money back for what they did. It took 4 months for my hips to heal. It was horrible! I will never go back or recommend them to anyone! They didn't even help me and I still had to keep going because I was charged for multiple sessions.

Left work early to come get treatment I was told the day before to show up before 5 I came in at 4, the receptionist was not friendly what’s so ever. We called 3 times, to get our membership cancelled, were immediately sent a text which told us to text for a quicker response. We responded to this text message twice, heard nothing. Never heard one word. I was just charged the $69.00 after following the instructions to send a text. If you call their office they NEVER answer, the voicemail is full (probably with the same complaints) so you can’t leave a message. Seems pretty sketchy. Will definitely be demanding a refund. I’ve never had issues with this company via their corporate headquarters in Arizona. I have used The Joint for many years. I’ll rethink this decision next time I need chiropractic services. I’m not happy. Update: The Joint refunded our money and canceled our account. I am very thankful.

Please don't advertise on your site "convenient walk in clinic open until 7 PM" if you only accept new patients before 5 PM. I wasted 40 minutes driving to and from your clinic after work just to be told new patients aren't accepted after 5 PM. I don't usually leave reviews because I understand bad experiences like long wait times aren't your fault, but you definitely should have made it clear new patients aren't accepted after 5 PM in the email I received for a new client $29 treatment. I bought a package so when I'm traveling I can get adjusted along my travels have had no problems for years getting in for an adjustment but this time I showed up at 4:30 tried to get earlier but a massive back up on the 40 coming from AZ .Ok now everyone get the timeline, There was not a client at this location was told that since I wasn't in since Oct of 2020 they could not treat me as I would have to fill out new paperwork and then have a New patient exam. Funny after asking about the paperwork found out it was only 3 pages The 2 lady's said it would take at least 1/2 hour to fill out the paperwork I am not illiterate so filling out 3 forms at the Joint probably would not take that long also said my wife could fill out the paperwork as the Chiro did the NEW PATEINT EXAM even though I have been going to the joint since 2010. they refused to see me even though they had a good 1/2 hour what kind of health care provider would not help someone in severe pain. The chiro came from in back but said nothing I clearly stated that I was in pain and really needed help but none of the 3 people working there seemed to care about that but were more interested in making sure they were out of there by 5 . I understand if they have policy's they need to follow but an extra 10 minutes would have helped me now I'm at the emergency room trying to get an epidermal for the pain . ALL 3 OF YOU SHOULDBE ASHAMED TO CALL YOURSELF HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS

Dr. Meeks has been helping me work through a recovery from an injury I sustained by jumping off a big rig drop-deck trailer. When I came in the first time I was one step away from renting a wheelchair. In the matter of a month I am ready to get back on the rig and start chaining and binding loads. She not only worked with me as a team mate, but was diligent in helping me understand what was going on and great at suggesting therapeutic exercises to help move the process forward. ALERT: The receptionist is a crochety old lady who I suspect has somef of pychosis. She loves to insult and pressure. If you just provide good service and treatments, you won't need to act so insane like you were trying to make a quota. Their adjustments are poor quality. The Montano location was closed today, that's were I normally go so I went to the Wyoming location and I'm so glad I did. Dr Langfitt is super professional, listens to your problem, he didn't rush and helped me out so much with my issue today with neck pain. He gave me home suggestions for treatment and I will be doing the drive weekly to see him on weekends at Wyoming.. The front desk staff was so nice and welcoming also...thank you.

I have been a member for a year. I need weekly adjustments and for my neck and back. We happened to be visiting family for Thanksgiving and stopped at this location to get my weekly adjustment. My experience was horrible! When I arrived there was someone in the back and two people on front of me. I could here the patient in the back moaning in pain that should have been my warning to leave. The next patient went back and I heard the same thing. I was waiting close to 45 minutes before I finally went back. I explained to the dr what I was there for. The adjustment on my back was extremely painful not at all like the adjustments I have at the location in Tucson that I normally go to. Next up was my neck which is always my main issue. He couldn’t get it to do what he wanted and just gave up. Needless to say I felt horrible after. I have been dealing with stiff neck and migraines the entire week after this experience. I went back to my normal location and the dr was shocked when I told him. When he adjusted my neck he thought he had hurt me because of how bad of shape it was in. I will not be going to this location even again!!

When I arrived on 9/10/19 my back hurt so bad I could barely breath. Sitting was at a minimum. The care I received was amazing. After a thorough initial review of paperwork and an exam I was adjusted and I was extremely pleased. I could actually take a deep breath and sit without pain. I have already told many people about them and shared the link on a friends FB page because I thought it might help him.

The staff is always friendly and courteous! Other than arriving during the busy periods There's not much to criticize. $60 a month will get you for visits which breaks down to $15 per visit. The only thing is is that they don't do massages or electrotherapy it's just physical adjustments from my understanding

Seriously poor customer service. I went in today for an adjustment and was told to complete new patient paperwork since I hadn't been seen since March. Yeah, 5 months tops and the only thing new is my job title. I completed everything except for the surgeries portion, and told the receptionist that there was no new information and it was already in the system. She told me that I would not be seen if I didn't fill it out, so I started to do so and commented that it was ridiculous when nothing was new. The receptionist ripped the clipboard away from me and stated that she would not tolerate me talking to her that way. I was genuinely confused and said that the wasn't being rude to her and that I would fill it out, to which she replied that she would not give me the paperwork and I would not be seen today at this location. I will not return to this location, and beyond today probably not to this company at all. Meanwhile, I am in pain and it's Saturday so my options are limited. FOLLOW UP: I drove across town to be seen at another location. They were sincerely apologetic and were just as confused about why I was asked to fill out new paperwork. Updated the system, got my adjustment, and sent on to enjoy an awesome Slipknot concert pain-free.

Do not ever go.I believe it is a hustle to get your personal information and credit card information. I was 100% disappointed. I now have to cancel my credit card or consistently check account to make sure there is no shady purchases. 1st visit deal is where the scam starts.

I went yesterday and saw Dr. Meek. she put me back together like a jigsaw puzzle. She is good, the front guy is nice, I would go back the the tables are a deal breaker. They are like an upholstered rock that was not designed with women in mind. Meek says that they are corporate owned. You know what that means... the cheapest tables. I do hope Meek opens her own place soon. If you can handle the cheap tables, Meek is good.

Dr. Meek is the best, I have scoliosis in my neck, since going once a week my pain and tension have diminished, this place is great for maintenance convenience visits, the membership is cheaper than my copays on insurance, it equals $16 a week/treatment, way worth it.

I loved this place! It's sad to see such poor reviews on here and unfortunately most are because of financial issues not the care received. Chiropractic care has been a godsend during my pregnancy and beyond. I've been to private practice clinics before too and they all provide the same quality of care but I pay a quarter of the cost here at the Joint than I did at the other clinics. Don't let the reviews fool you, this group is great and I haven't seen a chiropractor here that I didn't like.

I've been going to the joint for over a year as a member, this location and the one off of Alameda and Coors. I started going cause I've been a massage therapist for 12years and the ware on my neck and lower back was getting too much, and it was too expensive and time consuming to get a 90min massage every week. First the staff is extremely polite and kind, I've never had to wait more then 15 min. They always do a good job adjusting my neck, hips, and scapula, which is important cause as a massage therapist, those areas always get out of whack. As a member I get 4 adjustments a month at their loyalty member price of $50 (that's $12.50 each), I think it started at $60. I've been a massage therapist for 12 years, and with my weekly adjustments I'm sure I'll make it another 12 years. The only negatives are there seems to be a lot of turn over w/the doctors so if you get happy or use to a certain one or two they may not be there 3-6months later and occasionally you'll go and there won't be a doctor on staff at all, but you can always call ahead and make sure someone is there or use their app that tells you which Dr is where on any given day. I use to be scared of going to the chiropractor, now I don't think I'd make it w/o them, and I recommend them to my clients especially if they are nervous about it like I was.

Do not go here! These are amateur doctors! They will not help with any real issues. If you want to just go somewhere and waste $30 to have your back make noises, this is the place for you, but if you have real back pain or any true issues don't waste your time or money going into their fancy Waiting room to not receive any help whatsoever. Go to affordable chiropractic care on Alvarado just north of Loman. It is no frills, and it's $38. The doctor is very helpful and informative and does not want you to walk out in pain

My first experience here was pretty good. Id thrown my back out, and after going started to feel much better. Since then everything i do they call their "checks up" where they spend about 3 minutes popping your neck and charge $39. Its not worth the money and feels very impersonal. If you have issues and want a chiropractor that cares about you and those issues, look elsewhere.

I started going there for the price and convenience. Was not happy with all the doctors and how I got adjusted. The one doctor hurt me more than helped and can never get my neck. I specify no more with him. I have found Dr. Gary H. who always gives a great adjustment. The issue I have now is I go there today and there is a paper note on door saying this location North Towne will no longer have doctors after 2pm. WHAT??? Only open in the middle of the day while most of your patients are at work . So now if you want a adjustment you have to take off work or drive across town . What happened to them having convient hours ?? Bring back the regular hours at this location

I originally started going to The Joint Chiropractic in Utah but after a lot of driving I decided to visit here to get some lower back issues sorted out. Stephanie, the receptionist was really nice and the chiropractor was alright! I didn't get a whole lot of movement but I think that was due to my long drive. My buddy came with and had a alright experience. The staff was exceptionally kind but neither of us got the relief we were used to getting in our typical location. Also, was our first time using The Joint while traveling.

Didn't really help. I have gone to other CHiropractors for the same problem and seen results right away. This ajustment lasted less than 1 hour. I did not realize that "The Joint" is a big chain, operating in multiple states.

I made an appointment at 2 pm. I was on time and I signed in. I'm waiting in walk about 4 existing customers well they were taken first because according to the Chiropractic professional there existing customers are the priority. I would not recommend this place to new customers. If you don't mind no front desk worker at times and don't mind waiting around because the appointment your paying for is not priority and waiting over 45 minutes then this place is for you. As far as chiropractor its nothing amazing you can't get elsewhere were you are a priority as well. I'm a regular chiropractor customer I moved from Las Cruces so I needed a permanent chiropractor I most likely won't come here again.
