Dr. Devan Peebles, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Apex

My name is Devan Peebles and I grew up in a small village with a population of 600 located in Upstate New York where I attended South Lewis Central High School and graduated in the class of 2013.

I had prior exposure to chiropractic while in high school and I would go frequently to see the chiropractor. This peaked my interest of pursuing the field of Chiropractic so I had begun college at the State University of New York at Cortland where I would obtain my Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology in the spring of 2016. Throughout college I was involved in a variety of research studies on campus dealing with exercise physiology and working with those with Parkinson’s disease. This is where I discovered I truly loved working with people aimed toward improving daily function and the challenge of achieving results in such patients.

While attending college I went on to play collegiate football where I suffered a low back injury in my sophomore year. This injury led to me seeing a variety of healthcare providers, one being a chiropractor in which I had great success with. This experience is what ultimately led me to pursuing the field of chiropractic.

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. I was involved in a variety of clubs on campus ranging from sports council, pediatrics club, research and much more. I would go on to complete my Doctor of Chiropractic in the spring of 2021.

What I enjoy most about being in the chiropractic field is working with patients who are suffering from pain and aiding in the recovery process to bring out a patients full potential.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, snowboarding, and spending time with my family. I have a 3 year old daughter who I enjoy spending all of my free time with. She is my little travel buddy, best friend and we take her on every adventure we go on.

I look forward to providing care to the community.

Dr. Ed Hagerich, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Apex

Dr. Ed is from Johnstown, PA.  He earned a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior University in Albany, NY in 1997 and a Chiropractic Doctorate from Sherman College in Spartanburg, SC in 2001.  During his ownership of Pennsylvania and North Carolina chiropractic offices, Dr. Ed earned multiple credentials including the Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) (inactive) through the Council on Extremity Adjusting, the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) (inactive) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and became a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board (DACRB) (inactive) through the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board.

In 2012, Dr. Ed took a much-needed reprieve from the chiropractic profession and earned his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, GA in 2015.  From 2015 to present, Dr. Ed worked as a contract investigator for the federal government.  Missing full-time patient care and spending most of his days at a laptop computer, Dr. Ed decided to return to the profession he loves.  Refreshed, Dr. Ed is again delivering evidence-based chiropractic care on a full-time basis.

Dr. Heather Hart, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Apex

Dr. Hart was born and raised in Michigan, where she earned a BA in Biology at Northern Michigan University. Dr. Hart is a 2021 Sherman Chiropractic graduate. Second to that is getting to see the difference in a patients everyday life due to the incorporation of Chiropractic. In her spare time, Dr Hart is an avid reader of fictional and educational books.

Dr. Hart had originally thought to go into sports medicine, but after shadowing her DC, and seeing patients from a 4 day old baby, to a 93 year old woman, she knew this was her calling. One of the things Dr Hart like best about working at these The Joint locations, she gets to see such a variety of aged patients.

One thing Dr Hart can’t live without in her fridge is coffee creamer. Four famous people that would be at her dinner party would be Post Malone, Selena Gomez, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Zendaya. The coolest thing Dr Hart believes she has ever done is go to Puerto Rico.
