Dr. Paul Choi was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated from college with BS in Engineering and worked as a software engineer for 13 years until he received a calling to help people based on a question from his wife. Dr. Choi completed his doctoral degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC in September 2019.
Dr. Choi began working with The Joint Chiropractic in March 2020, and he joined the Stone Crest team in August 2020. One of Dr. Paul’s favorite things about being a chiropractor is making a difference in people’s lives. “Seeing patients smile after getting adjustments and walking out of the office feeling better than when they came in is a great feeling.”
Four notable people Dr. Choi would choose to attend a dinner party would be: Jesus Christ, Abraham Lincoln, Dale Carnegie, and Ronald Reagan.
Dr. Choi and his wife Kristen have 3 children and a Maltese dog named Tiffany. They enjoy fishing, hiking, and being in nature. In his free time, Dr. Paul likes to develop software to make people’s lives easier.
Dr. Stefanie Fuess was born and raised in Southern California. In 2009 she graduated with honors from University of Western States in Portland, OR earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor's degree in General Science from Oregon State University. Although she is newly licensed in North Carolina, she has plenty of experience successfully treating patients in Oregon. Her goals include providing the best care possible, along with educating her patients about the benefits of chiropractic care and how it can help them remain/become healthy.
Dr. Pedro Beauchamp, affectionately known as “Dr. Pedro” to his patients, joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2018. Dr. Pedro lives by the philosophy that ‘movement is life’ and takes pride in educating and helping people feel their best. Dr. Pedro strongly believes in an integrated approach to spinal care that combines the effectiveness of several disciplines and modalities such as chiropractic adjustments, functional exercises, stretches, dry needling, Graston, cupping, acupuncture and Kinesio taping among others to provide a more rounded approach to neuromusculoskeletal care.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Pedro attended American University in the Nation's capital where he obtained a degree in graphic design followed by a Masters in design and technology from Parsons School of Design in New York City. After working in the advertising, editorial and multimedia design field for over 10 years, Dr. Pedro decided to pursue his true passion and applied to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange Florida. After receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic, he served the North Beach/Miami community prior to moving up north to Charlotte. Dr. Pedro finds joy treating people of all ages and believes that anyone that has a spine can benefit from chiropractic care.
Dr. Pedro and his wife Ana recently moved to North Carolina, and are currently expecting their first child which is due in February 2020. Dr. Pedro and Ana are happy living in the Queen City and enjoy everything this wonderful state has to offer. When Dr. Pedro is not at The Joint he enjoys outdoor activities including disc golf, golf, tennis, snowboarding and watching an occasional Panther game at Bank of America stadium.
