Meet The Doctors
Dr. Owen is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College. He grew up in New York in the Hudson Valley and recently moved his family down to Apex, North Carolina. His interest in the field began in his early teens after receiving chiropractic treatment for several different sports injuries. "I was pleasantly surprised to see the level of care and personal focus I received when I went to a chiropractor for treatment." After completing his undergraduate work at Dutchess Community College and Marist College, he was admitted to NYCC in January 2014. He graduated in April 2017 after completing his clinic rotations in Levittown, Long Island. Following graduation, Dr. Owen returned to Dutchess county where he began building a practice while splitting his time working in a busy family practice in Westchester. In June of 2018 he made the difficult decision to move his family down south to North Carolina. Dr. Owen is proficient in a variety of chiropractic techniques including: Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Flexion and Distraction, Active muscle release, ConnecTX soft tissue mobilization and SOT. He looks forward to using these skills to provide quality chiropractic care to the patients of Wake County.
Dr. Loran Meadows is a compassionate and dedicated chiropractor committed to helping patients achieve optimal health through natural, holistic care. With two years of experience, Dr. Loran specializes in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, including back and neck pain, headaches, and joint dysfunction. By using a combination of advanced chiropractic techniques, patient education, and personalized care plans, Dr. Loran strives to improve overall well-being and empower patients to lead active, pain-free lives.
Dr. Loran earned their Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where they developed a passion for addressing the root causes of pain rather than just masking symptoms. They believe in a patient-centered approach, taking the time to listen to each individual’s unique concerns and crafting treatments tailored to their specific needs.
When not in the office, Dr. Loran enjoys golfing, and watching sports. Dr. Loran looks forward to helping you feel your best and achieve lasting health improvements.
Dr. De’Monique Brown joined The Joint Chiropractic in September 2024. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa in 2020, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Communications in 2009. Dr. Brown is passionate about helping people and enjoys meeting new patients and learning new skills within the chiropractic field.
Originally from Illinois, Dr. Brown values the collaborative environment at The Joint Chiropractic and enjoys working with a diverse group of doctors. Outside of work, she enjoys sleeping and watching TV. Dr. Brown’s favorite fridge staple? Pickles — because no meal is complete without them!
Dr. Brown believes in the power of chiropractic to promote natural healing and overall wellness, and is excited to help her patients lead pain-free, healthy lives.
Dr. Marcia Lancaster joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2021 and began practicing at the Fuquay office in September 2024. She holds a BA in Biology and Botany from East Carolina University (1982) and graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 1987. Inspired by her personal experience with scoliosis, she embraces chiropractic as a natural approach to healing and lives by her slogan: “Changing lives for the better, one spine at a time.”
Originally from Fayetteville, NC, Dr. Marcia has practiced in Atlanta, Albuquerque, Fayetteville, and Cary. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, caring for her miniature therapy goats, and sipping unsweetened iced tea, her “brain juice.” One of her most memorable adventures was holding a koala bear in Australia.
Dr. Marcia is passionate about helping her patients live healthier, happier lives.
Dr. Russell Rottacker, D.C. is a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Fuquay and Garner, NC, where he began practicing in May 2025. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1983 after earning his associate’s degree from Delta Community College, focusing on anatomy, physiology, and science. Originally on a pre-med track, Dr. Rottacker shifted paths after personally experiencing the benefits of chiropractic care following a whiplash injury. He finds joy in helping patients improve their health through the body’s natural ability to heal. With decades of experience practicing across Colorado and California, he now lives in North Carolina with his wife of 45 years, Shirley, to be closer to their children and grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Rottacker enjoys camping in his RV and cooking with fresh ingredients. He’s passionate about neurology and continually studies to provide more refined care. His black lab, Lacey, is his loyal companion—especially when thunderstorms aren’t in the forecast.
