PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW SO THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU. I know it’s long but PLEASE read it so YOU can protect yourselves as well. I canceled my account about 2 months prior to my mom passing away from pancreatic cancer in 2025. We knew she was declining quickly and lived in NJ. The kind man at the front desk told he would take care of it for me which I greatly appreciated considering what I was dealing with. He never told me I needed to sign anything, he told me HE would do it. Well they continued to charge me and even somehow managed to access my new bank card because I had to cancel my original card because my husband had fraud and so we both got new cards.Without my authorization they continued to charge me. I called to ask them how they got my new information and why I was still being charged.i spoke with someone on the phone I believe the same man, and he told me it was bizarre that they had my new card info and that once again he would take care of it by removing my card and by filling out another cancelation for me. I regretfully missed these charges because I myself was diagnosed with cervical cancer and was in and out of hospitals. I am still fighting cancer. They have phone recordings of our conversations and even charged me for “extra sessions” when THEY THEMSELVES confirmed I haven’t been in any office in over a year. Mckenzie Misner told me on a recorded call that this was insane I was even charged for an extra session 2 days after my mom died while I was in NJ still crying in the hospital filling out endless paperwork. They also know due to my illnesses I am not medically cleared to be treated by a chiropractor. My bank is kind of enough to refute these charges and give me back my money, but it shouldn’t have come to that. They charged my account $1,626. I unfortunately can’t post the email because I believe that’s illegal but I can tell you they offered me $321dollars back and then 20 “free sessions worth 469. To me they aren’t “free sessions considering this company has been unlawfully taking my money. Don’t let this be you please. Invest your hard earned money into a company that WILL DO RIGHT BY YOU. The staff is great and there are great doctors there but is it worth the risk of costing you almost $2000. There are great doctors everywhere. Don’t make the same mistake I did by trusting that the owners of the Joint and McKenzie would do right by me. The joint is not a trustworthy company to put your money into their hands. There wasn’t an option for 0 stars, but there should be because they don’t deserve even a single star.

Dr. Russell was thorough and did a great job of identifying the problem with my back and providing relief. Made an appointment at 12, got there at 11:55 to check in. Completed the paperwork within a 3-4 mins. At 12:10, I kindly asked how much longer, I was advised 10 mins. At 12:35, I asked how much longer again. The man said again just 10 more minutes. I said I made an appointment at 12 and confirmed it when I checked in when I told the man I made an appointment and he saw it. The man at the desk said they don’t do appointments, but yet I made an appointment on their website and showed them. I was finally seen at 12:48 for an appointment at 12. There was only 1 customer in the establishment when I walked in, and she got seen; it was just me sitting there for almost an hour. The guy at the front desk was very short with me and condescending, wouldn’t even take his headphones out to talk to me. It was if I was bothering him at his job. He gave me one word answers to any and every question I asked.

I just got out of the ER twice in the last week after waking up the morning after chiropractic care here and the cardiologist and doctors confirmed I now have pinched nerves in my spine and neck area that are from the chiropractor at this location. I went from bodybuilding training with no pain I literally only went here for some maintenance on a sore lower back and was functioning perfectly lifting heavy and running as usual. Now I can barely walk, the pinched nerves are causing numbness and tingling in my arms and limbs as well as chest and rib sharp pains. I would never in my life recommend chiropractic care to anyone ever. I bought 6 packages and I’m just eating the charge it’s not worth the risk. They are not real doctors. One wrong move can mess you up bad. Now instead of continuing my training I have to go to physical therapy and learn how to move my body again and take months off from any workout of any kind until the nerves heal. Please listen and do not do it. I signed papers saying if I died or got injured I can NOT sue, however I will be spreading the word of my injuries everywhere because no one should have to go through this. Especially as an athletic in good shape 26 year old woman with no prior health issues. Thank you.

Decided to give it a shot and pop into The Joint especially as Christmas Eve was tomorrow and I just wanted to have a normal pain-free day to enjoy the holidays. The doctors are amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable. The tables on the other hand need replacement, they are ripped and therefore unsanitary and not able to clean right. Bacteria will grow in there.

Be careful of what you sign. They have been taking $80 per month from my credit card that I didn’t authorize for 3mos. It’s all a scam. I went for 6 visits $80. Didn’t realize I would pay that monthly and no one explained that to me. I left several messages to see if I have any sessions left since I didn’t use any I’ve been paying for three months, but nobody returns my calls. Terrible customer service.

5/24/2024 update: I have been seeing Dr Andy Owen in 2024 and again an excellent experience at this location. He never rushes through treatment sessions and is always extremely helpful with questions I have. Trudy at the front desk is the best, always smiling and a pleasure to speak with. Everyone at this location is top notch, I highly recommend!? Previous 2023 update: The Joint in Holly Springs is fantastic! I have been going there 3 months for back and headache issues. I was initially seen by Dr TC who was excellent and now mostly treated by Dr Devan. Trudy at the front desk is always very pleasant and helpful. A week ago I injured my rib and went to Dr Devan yesterday who thoroughly checked my injury out and explained the issue in detail. He suggested I have an x-ray done to rule out a fractured rib. He wrote a script and I had an x-ray done this morning. This saved me having to go through my primary doctor and pay a copay. Still waiting on results however I can't think Dr Devan and Trudy enough for all their assistance and for truly being concerned about the patient. They went above and beyond! I will definitely be going back soon again after I recover. I highly recommend The Joint, best chiropractic facility I've ever been to! ?

It all started great, good and quick service. But after being charged the second month, my primary told me to avoid adjustments until after I get an MRI done at the VA (I'm a disabled veteran), I notified the Joint about this and they told me they couldn't reimburse nor move the dates forward. I reached out online and they told me they couldn't help and to deal with this at the clinic level. I went back to the clinic and they pretty much told me that all they care about is the money and to go away.

They will make you jump through hoops to cancel their services once you pay for them in advance. They made me come in to fill out a form to cancel and then fraudulently charged my card anyway. When I told them my doctor recommends seeing a specialist for pre existing nerve issues and waiting until then to continue chiropractic treatment, they demanded a note from my doctor. Buyer beware!

I was a little nervous at signing the initial waver because my neck is the area I needed cracked. Even though I was uncertain, I am certain now the doctor that cracked my neck is trustworthy. I haven’t had full range of motion in my neck but this helped a lot and I left with a big smile on my face. They got me in and out quickly which was nice too. I definitely recommend them and I would go here before I have my neck twisted by someone else that I’m not sure would have the experience this doctor did. You don’t really want to take a risk with something like that. Highly recommend!

I feel discriminated against as a person of color. Do not recommend this place. I arrived only 7 min late for a new appointment to be told by the front desk there were no more first time appointments available. Once i told her i had an appointment , instead of asking for my name to check in she called someone from the back to tell me they were busy with walk ins and to reschedule for later this afternoon. One of the walk-ins were done with their visit before we even got our paperwork.

Came in for an adjustment they only had one “chiropractor” available (not the problem) The problem was the person available didn’t do a full adjustment, tweaked my neck, and caused excruciating pain. They really should vet who they leave alone better or at least hire people that know what they are doing. Don't waste your money here you're better off going to a real chiropractor. Update: it took nearly 3 weeks for the pain to go away. I called multiple times and would be put on hold for 15-20 mins and then eventually hung up on. You’re better off driving the 15 mins to the apex or Cary location. At least they won’t do you dirty and then refuse to take your calls. They will at least work with you and try to resolve any issues that may arise.

I typically go to The Joint in Apex but today went over to Holly Springs office to see Dr. Carter, specifically. For being a pop-in chiropractic office, I’ve found GREAT doctors at The Joint even while out of state. Usually, whoever is on duty can deal with my issues. (Dr. Matt, Dr. Heather, Dr. Ed, etc) But I’ve had this one spot plaguing me and I knew if I drove to wherever Dr. Carter was, I’d find success. And I did. Two thumbs up.

I have been going here for a while now and love it. My last 2 visits have been wonderful. I had Dr. Matt & Dr. Carter. They have been fabulous to work with. They take time to listen. Right before I left on my beach trip I had Dr. Paul. I had a lot of pain & bruising along my spine from something he did. I’ve seen him twice now & I haven’t been impressed. He doesn’t take the time to listen to the problems. He just gets you in & out fast. I don’t be coming on the days Dr. Paul is there. I’ll stick with Dr. Matt or Dr. Carter from now on.

I've been to other joints around the triangle, but this one has the best and most consistent Doctors by far. I compete in strongman, and with the grueling and often times dangerous events I train for, i get banged up pretty often. With that being said I've been able to consistently come in and have them fix me back up in 1-3 visits. I recommend this place to all of my massage therapy clients as well.

Today was my very first time going in. I was diagnosed with sciatica nerve pain and stuff and I am a above the knee amputee as well. I will say after my visit today omg i feel less tension and stress in my back. I definitely will be back and will definitely recommend others and my fiancé to this place. I've been going to the Holly Springs clinic since 2018, I believe. I have had good, great, and okay adjustments and have found the doctors that always seem to get that last little knot out of my stubborn cervical vertebrae or adjust my wrist so my arthritic thumb doesn't hurt as much. Such a great place I've been going for almost 2 years and I am so glad I found it. Admin is so sweet and welcoming, and the doctors really do know what they are doing. For the price.... absolutely worth every penny. Also even when they are busy I am in adjusted and out in no more than 15 mins, normally I walk right back after checking in and I'm on a table right away. If you are thinking about it... just do it even if it's just the consult you won't regret it.

I’ve been going to this location weekly for a little over a year and a half. Before I started going I would get a pinched nerve in my back a few times a year. I haven’t gotten a pinched nerve at all since I started going to The Joint. The office is always clean and the staff are all friendly. The doctors all ask if there is anything they should focus on and make sure that you feel okay after your adjustment. I could not recommend The Joint, and this location, highly enough.

I have been a patient at the Holly Springs clinic for over three years. They have a number of different doctors, most are very good. I like going to the same two or three because they get to know my body and what works best for me. The clinic is always nice and clean. I spend $59 per month and receive 4 visits (or adjustments) for that membership. Most of the time I use all four visits, when I do, I feel that it is a great value. I highly reccomend this clinic.

My first visit went smoothly. I called ahead about their intro special and they had no problem seeing me the same day. Lynda emailed new patient forms to me to save time on my arrival and I enjoyed her open and upbeat personality. I was able to see a Dr. in less than 10 minutes and Dr Holly walked through my paperwork and explained their services, very easy conversation and since I was familiar with chiropractic care, no hard sell on packages. The place was very maintained and easy in and out. I would recommend and look forward to next visit.

This place is amazing! I’ve been searching for a good chiropractor office for years. Once I moved to the area , a friend of mine highly recommended this place. The costs are extremely reasonable and there are options to pick what best aligns with what you’re looking for. I love the ease from the minute you walk in to the door until you leave. Signing in is easy, the front receptionists are super friendly and helpful. It’s great that it’s walk in only, makes it much easier to fit into my schedule. At first I thought maybe it’d be like a drive they quick and sometimes rushed. I NEVER feel rushed during my appt and the doctors do a great job of documenting and ensuring they’re taking the right approach to your adjustment and they make tweaks bade on how you feel and progress. All of the doctors there take pride in how you feel and how they can help you feel better and sustain that feeling. The front and back area are super clean and spread out. They’ve taken COVID precautions seriously. I’ve gone through a year of ER visits and spine injections and the progress wasn’t enough for me to get back into my daily routine and be able to exercise and be on my feet for long periods of time. After a month and a half, I feel amazing and my only regret is that I didn’t sign up sooner.

I'm not even sure where to begin. The atmosphere of the office was inviting and relaxing which helped put the nerves at ease. All the staff was amazing. Lynda was incredible and squeezed us in around her other appointments. Dr. Christine had a great bedside manner and was very thorough with the exam and had a great adjustment. I was a little worried because the cost was a lot less compared to what my previous chiropractor charged. I'm not sure what my previous chiropractor was charging me for. I say previous because Joint in Holly Springs just earned a customer for life.

Love this place!! I have chronic back pain since middle school (so about 8 years) and ever since I started going, my back hasn't had as many problems. I have been to this location several times and the doctors here are always very friendly and helpful. I don't particularly like the open setup of the clinic, I would prefer closed rooms and to feel like I have the time to ask questions and get adjusted leisurely. At my first appointment, I met Doctor David, and he tried to explain my situation thoroughly to me, and then he gave me little advises to do by my own at home. In the second appointment, I met Dr. Carter, I also liked his own Technic. Then I met D. Holly Kaiser, she was very good to work on the exact points where my problem was. Overall experience was good. Chiropractor seemed engaged, honest, and skilled. I removed a star for the generally odd setup of the place and overly intense sales discussions. All tables are in a community room with people actually sitting in chairs who can plainly overhear your conversations with your practitioner and watch you get treated. It’s a bit preposterous to expect an honest medical history from people when there’s a cadre of strangers in the room. I wouldn’t mind it if there was an apparent no cellphone restriction or something. Also there’s a near constant discussion of payment plans going on that denigrates the craft a bit. Perhaps a small area to discuss these matters like they have at a gym would offer more candor.

Before I post this review, I think that The Joint offers a great service and each location should be judged individually. However, after my experience this morning, I will not be returning. This morning I drove almost 30 minutes from my home near Dunn to the Holly Springs location around 9 am, the office usually opens 7 am on Fridays. When I got there, it was closed. That isn’t the problem. The problem is that one of the chiropractors was in the parking lot and saw me looking into the building and pulling out my phone confused. He watched me saying NOTHING. I happen to ask if he was waiting and he told me he had the key and started laughing flippantly. He finally walked 15 feet across the lot and told me that the office was closed for a conference. Driving an hour out of my way isn’t a laughing matter. I work for myself and I don’t want someone taking my money and laughing in my face. After I left, I found a chiropractor not connected with The Joint and made an appointment. It is more expensive but I prefer to be treated as a valuable customer.
