Dr. Cherese Scotton Bratcher a Chiropractic Physician has a passion for health and healing. Her journey began in 1994 when she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Hampton University. As a Clinical Researcher for AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical Company her love for health and healing was cultivated. Dr. Cherese then received her Massage and Bodywork training from the Medical Arts Massage School. She knew the ability to bring health and healing couldn’t be done by massage alone and felt the missing link was chiropractic. Dr. Cherese received her chiropractic degree from Parker University. Dr. Cherese is unique because she has been on both sides of the medical fence, but feels it is much more rewarding to remove interference in the nervous system allowing the body to heal itself instead of just treating symptoms. Her favorite quote is by Hippocrates, “Look well to the spine for the cause of disease.”
I’ve been in practice 17 years now and proudly call North Carolina my home. Not a week goes by that I don’t think I am blessed to be a part of this profession. I got interested in chiropractic when my girlfriend at the time hurt her low back. She had taken pain meds but they didn’t have an effect. The results of the chiropractic adjustment were amazing! She was pain free after a couple of adjustments. I was so impressed that I started inquiring about the profession and before long I was enrolled in chiropractic school.
Through the years I developed a solid appreciation for what chiropractic can do beyond just neck or back pain. It’s because of this understanding that I wake up every morning excited for the opportunity to help people.
