The Joint is Part of Raleigh's Independence Day Party
If there's one party all of America can get behind, it's Independence Day. The Joint Chiropractic celebrated the 241st birthday of the United States by participating in Brier Creek Commons' 10th annual Show Us Your Stripes Block Party in Raleigh.
People of all ages celebrated at the Brier Creek Commons Clock Tower Plaza. The Joint Chiropractic handed out glow sticks and free adjustment cards, but there were other options, too, for feeling good: games, bounce houses, prizes, face painting and various merchants of Brier Creek Commons.
"The block party was free and had a great turnout," said Rita Sellers of The Joint. "The plaza was filled with lawn chairs and blankets. Many people posted their fun stories to social media. The event had a #showusyourstripes contest in which people posted their photos of the block party to social media and the winner received a $125 pack of gift cards from various Brier Creek merchants. Brier Creek Commons even had a special snapchat filter for the block party! Children and adults were excited to watch the fireworks while interacting with local businesses."
The fireworks show was choreographed to match the patriotic soundtrack arranged by DJ Mark McNally.
The Joint at Brier Creek is located in between Mixx Ice Cream and Tamarind Oriental Express.
