    PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW SO THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU. I know it’s long but PLEASE read it so YOU can protect yourselves as well. I canceled my account about 2 months prior to my mom passing away from pancreatic cancer in 2025. We knew she was declining quickly and lived in NJ. The kind man at the front desk told he would take care of it for me which I greatly appreciated considering what I was dealing with. He never told me I needed to sign anything, he told me HE would do it. Well they continued to charge me and even somehow managed to access my new bank card because I had to cancel my original card because my husband had fraud and so we both got new cards.Without my authorization they continued to charge me. I called to ask them how they got my new information and why I was still being charged.i spoke with someone on the phone I believe the same man, and he told me it was bizarre that they had my new card info and that once again he would take care of it by removing my card and by filling out another cancelation for me. I regretfully missed these charges because I myself was diagnosed with cervical cancer and was in and out of hospitals. I am still fighting cancer. They have phone recordings of our conversations and even charged me for “extra sessions” when THEY THEMSELVES confirmed I haven’t been in any office in over a year. Mckenzie Misner told me on a recorded call that this was insane I was even charged for an extra session 2 days after my mom died while I was in NJ still crying in the hospital filling out endless paperwork. They also know due to my illnesses I am not medically cleared to be treated by a chiropractor. My bank is kind of enough to refute these charges and give me back my money, but it shouldn’t have come to that. They charged my account $1,626. I unfortunately can’t post the email because I believe that’s illegal but I can tell you they offered me $321dollars back and then 20 “free sessions worth 469. To me they aren’t “free sessions considering this company has been unlawfully taking my money. Don’t let this be you please. Invest your hard earned money into a company that WILL DO RIGHT BY YOU. The staff is great and there are great doctors there but is it worth the risk of costing you almost $2000. There are great doctors everywhere. Don’t make the same mistake I did by trusting that the owners of the Joint and McKenzie would do right by me. The joint is not a trustworthy company to put your money into their hands. There wasn’t an option for 0 stars, but there should be because they don’t deserve even a single star.

    Dr. Jesse is Awesome!!!! Had neck pain for 3 months and immediately felt some relief after the adjustment. I expressed my neck pain, which is related to weak muscles Tech Neck.. and I was sore. He adjusted using light pressure which was effective and didn’t cause more sensitivity in the neck area. Basically he wasn’t overly aggressive with his adjustment. If you are in pain and worried if an adjustment would make things worse or fear of being adjusted “too hard” go see Dr. Jesse!!! Don’t wait one more day!! The plan is very affordable also as my Insurance doesn’t cover Chiropractic care.

    CAUTION! On 4/28/26 I went to the Southern Pines office and saw Dr Brooke W. My pain discomfort level about a 3 (scale of 10) no pain in my legs just back. After a dissappointing treatment (that's a story in itself) the next day pain went through the roof in my back and now down my leg. EXCRCIATING! I have had shots from my doctor..no luck, Xrays and a MRI yesterday. I need a cane to barely walk and the pain is 24/7. I can't sleep in a bed and now going on two weeks.     This was my first experience at a chiropractor, highly recommend! I've been struggling with ulnar nerve entrapment pains for two + years. I've tried several pills, doctors, trips to urgent care, orthopedics, all with no improvement.... I wish I would have tried a chiropractor sooner!     I came in on short notice with my pelvis completely shifted. I have not always had the best of luck with chiropractors so I was hesitant to go, but my fiancé insisted we give this place a try.     First visit was a great experience. Diamond at reception was absolutely wonderful. She was so welcoming and friendly, which I did not expect since we went it so close to closing time. The doctor listened to our concerns and they were addressed accordingly. We went ahead and signed up for the monthly plan, which seems to be well worth it.

    I came in after being to 4 different emergency rooms and seeing multiple doctors for my back. I had all but given up on ever feeling the slightest relief. My world was literally crumbling around me. I was at my breaking point at 3am Google searching any options when I came across The Joint Chiropractor. I have never had an adjustment and was terrified that it would make it worse. The front office staff was absolutely the sweetest and the dr was reassuring.     My back had been hurting me for days. I drove up to see my mom and woke up Saturday morning barely able to walk. I Googled Chiropractor opened on Saturday and The Joint was! I walked in filled out paperwork and walked right back no appointment needed! Extraordinary Staff!!! I became a monthly member!! It’s cheaper than my insurance for 1 visit!! I was able to move easier and woke up this morning able to walk!!! I will go back to the chiropractor Monday where I live!! That’s the best part!     I would say the Joint is great for convenience so when traveling you can find them all over. However, I don't appreciate the solicitation phone calls asking me if I'm interested in their specials or plans. My other medical providers don't try to get me to come in more often, so if chiropractic is to be respected as a medical field, they should not be soliciting business. This location has a very friendly staff and the adjustments are decent. Nothing too personalized, you'll get the same 7 adjustments every time but he is good at getting in there and I usually feel good after.

    I am a happy customer. Who doesn’t love an adjustment? The front desk staff is professional and friendly. The 2 doctors were both friendly and answered my questions and were attentive to my pain. The lobby has complimentary snacks and drinks. You can buy a month membership for about $75 and it’s $29 for the first visit. Or visit a la cart. In February they have a first adjustment is free special! Conveniently located in Southern Pines next to Lowe’s grocery store and other shopping.

    The receptionist was very friendly and nice. I had to bring my baby and she interacted with him while I filled out my forms. The dr was also very nice and explained why my back was hurting and was able to make my back feel somewhat better, he did say it would take a few visits. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for affordable chiropractic care.

    This was my first time visiting a Chiropractor. I’ve been experiencing lower back and hip pain for awhile. I’ve had multiple steroid shots into my spine and have tried every medical procedure besides surgery. I wish that I had tried chiropractic care sooner, because after my first visit and adjustment I can honestly say I feel taller and straighter than I have in a long time. I am actually looking forward to my next visit. The prices and wellness plans are very affordable, and once you sign up no appointments are required.

    My first visit was awesome. Had a tight, pulling feeling in the muscles of my left neck/shoulders. No more pulling or tight feeling on the first visit. And he aligned my back and spine.     It was a good first visit. Assessment is thorough. I am looking for alternatives for chronic low back pain treatment not wanting to use narcotics or long term meds which really do nothing but dull the pain and cause dependency. Surgery would lead to scarring of tissue and probably exacerbate pain over time. I am working on making lifestyle changes such as stretching, diet, and increasing exercise. The manipulation was fast and the Doc was professional. I love that no appointment is needed and purchased a treatment plan package. I look forward to seeing how I progress through this summer and if the weekly adjustment helps. Will give 5 stars if I can break 90 on the golf course this summer and remain pain free!

    Dr Cook put my back into place on my first visit!! It was out for six weeks and the pain was unbearable. I am taking my mom in the morning. I couldn’t get help from a pain provider at back and spine center and now I know who I can count on for pain relief without drugs.
