I asked so many questions and told the he/she at the desk that I couldn’t afford a plan I needed to pay as I came in!!!!!! NEVER SAID I WANTED TO BE PUT ON A PAYMENT PLAN!!!! He/she said I can pay for 2 visits now and my intake and pay per visit! paid for 2 visits and my consultation on the 1st day, which i paid cash and the he/she at the desk told me you need to put a card on file, we will NOT charge you and you can use visits anytime you need too. Cool so I pay CASH and put my card on file that I have send me texts when its used, because I had a feeling this was going to happen and I explain to this he/she that I don’t feel comfortable with this and he/she assured me THEY WOULD NOT CHARGE MY CARD!!!!! fast forward a month later, my card was charged and when I called for a refund, yes we can do that. I’m waiting on the phone for the bank to send the notification and asked the guy on the phone when can I expect my refund? He got quite and just sat there a few moments later the guy comes back with “you are on a plan; I would like that canceled and my card taken off file. we can’t cancel the plan because it’s a 3-month commitment and you no longer have your 2 visits you already paid for because you didn’t use them before we charged you again!” I NEVER ASKED TO BE PUT ON A 3 MONTH PLAN, THAT I COULDNT AFFORD!!!! so now my account is over drafted, I can’t receive a refund, I’m out of the 2 visits I’ve already paid for and now have an overdraft fee from my bank to pay as well. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she’s unavailable and she will email me later! I WOULD TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM TO STEAL FROM ITS CLIENTS AND THE PEOPLE ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!

Mark has been a great help to me. I have progressed from very little sleep due to lower back spasms to sleeping well with tenderness lasting approximately 15 minutes after waking up and then subsiding. Also I have been able to lift and carry at work without issues. If I overdo it recovery is much quicker. I have chosen the wellness plan for now for the purposes of continuing improvement as well as preventive maintenance.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW SO THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU. I know it’s long but PLEASE read it so YOU can protect yourselves as well. I canceled my account about 2 months prior to my mom passing away from pancreatic cancer in 2025. We knew she was declining quickly and lived in NJ. The kind man at the front desk told he would take care of it for me which I greatly appreciated considering what I was dealing with. He never told me I needed to sign anything, he told me HE would do it. Well they continued to charge me and even somehow managed to access my new bank card because I had to cancel my original card because my husband had fraud and so we both got new cards.Without my authorization they continued to charge me. I called to ask them how they got my new information and why I was still being charged.i spoke with someone on the phone I believe the same man, and he told me it was bizarre that they had my new card info and that once again he would take care of it by removing my card and by filling out another cancelation for me. I regretfully missed these charges because I myself was diagnosed with cervical cancer and was in and out of hospitals. I am still fighting cancer. They have phone recordings of our conversations and even charged me for “extra sessions” when THEY THEMSELVES confirmed I haven’t been in any office in over a year. Mckenzie Misner told me on a recorded call that this was insane I was even charged for an extra session 2 days after my mom died while I was in NJ still crying in the hospital filling out endless paperwork. They also know due to my illnesses I am not medically cleared to be treated by a chiropractor. My bank is kind of enough to refute these charges and give me back my money, but it shouldn’t have come to that. They charged my account $1,626. I unfortunately can’t post the email because I believe that’s illegal but I can tell you they offered me $321dollars back and then 20 “free sessions worth 469. To me they aren’t “free sessions considering this company has been unlawfully taking my money. Don’t let this be you please. Invest your hard earned money into a company that WILL DO RIGHT BY YOU. The staff is great and there are great doctors there but is it worth the risk of costing you almost $2000. There are great doctors everywhere. Don’t make the same mistake I did by trusting that the owners of the Joint and McKenzie would do right by me. The joint is not a trustworthy company to put your money into their hands. There wasn’t an option for 0 stars, but there should be because they don’t deserve even a single star.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been dealing with excruciating pain since September 2025 and was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and a pinched nerve from being disk in my spine that is painful every day that I am soon to have surgery. I cancelled my policy in December 2025 and filled out form explaining why I wasn't able to go from October to December because of pain and multiple emergency room visits and was not able to drive 1hr from my house to closest clinic. They are refusing to refund my money and only giving me december back to me. It's clear that these people don't care about a person having to have spinal surgery and in severe pain each day because they called me and tried to get me to come on an extended time to fix when spinal stenosis is not reversible where the bulging disk is pinching nerve... I hope many people read this and do not waste time nor money because all they care about is getting your money and not what's best for you.

I've never been to a chiropractor before, but feeling tension in my upper back/neck area and tightness in the lower back, I figured it was time to go get it checked out. Dr Chris did an amazing job. He explained everything in detail and what to expect. That first session was incredible. The "cracking" going on was quiet humorous, but as soon as I got up, what a difference. My neck and back area feel amazing. I decided to sign on for a couple times a week for the first 30 days, then once a week should keep it in check. I’m new here, just a month, but so far my experience has been very good. The only thing that was a little odd at first was being in one big room with everyone else. They have 3 tables in room with sometimes two chiros on each side with really no privacy. At first it was odd, but now I’m ok. Always a very short wait time, but I go during mid day so not sure how it is during evenings when everyone off work. Everyone friendly and thorough. I’m pleased with price and service. I’m feeling better and have gotten relief from my pain.

I was able to get an appointment the same day. I wish I had gone months ago. I had immediate relief to my lower back, and my neck felt much better. I now plan to go regularly for an adjustment. The plan for service once a week is very economical and cheaper per visit than my insurance would be. The person who did my adjustment was knowledgeable and his experience was obvious. We also love Dr. Campbell; he really took the time to understand our "ailments," and was delicate with his adjustments. I am giving the joint chiropractic three stars, full disclosure I never received any treatment. I was in a minor car accident and my neck was a bit stiff. I called their office, but that number was disconnected, shortly there after I received a text message from an 800 number connected with This company. I responded back to the text to see if a certain doctor was there as I was recommended to that particular doctor. No response so I headed over for my appointment, and when I arrived was told he wasn’t working that day. I was willing to give another doctor a try. I spent the next 20 minutes filling out paper forms, which were completely redundant, after I completed that process, I was walked into the back where I met my doctor. He asked me why I was there and I told him I was in a minor car accident. At that point he told me they don’t treat people that were in car accidents. Imagine how surprised I was that a chiropractic office didn’t want to help people that were in a minor car accident. At that point I left and I am in the process of finding a good chiropractor in this area.

Actually, I give this particular The Joint Chiropractic on Forestville Road in Wake Forest a negative star - ⭐. I have a regular chiropractor that I have seen for 45 years. Several times things have been crazy or for some reason I couldn't see her. These last few weeks are one of those times. I have been to The Joint several times on these occasions but never this particular one in Wake Forest. I have always been welcome at The Joint and loved the service and people. They do everything like my regular chiropractor. She is sick and not sure if she will be able to work at all this week. I need an adjustment, therefore, I went to The Joint in Wake Forest. The first thing the chiropractor said "We are not an emergency chiropractor!" I have never been treated like this and will not use The Joint Chiropractic in Wake Forest. This was not an emergency and I never said it was. I called The Joint in Knightdale and asked if policy had changed. They said no ma'am, you come see us. I was once again welcomed in Knightdale and received excellent service. And if my regular chiropractor went out of business I would go to The Joint Chiropractic in Knightdale , NOT in Wake Forest.

I had been a customer at this location for a couple of years. Dr Campbell always did well in adjusting me. However I had knee replacement 7 months ago so I had stopped coming there while I was healing. When I went in today to try and get treatment I was told that I needed to fill out the paperwork again and despite only 1 person in the waiting room they would not see me and that I could either go to another location or come back at the end of the day. I don’t understand this policy however if you don’t want me as a customer anymore that is fine. I would encourage anyone else thinking of going there to understand you may not be allowed to get treatment.

I was speaking with Jill at one of the Joint Chiropractic locations today and she asked me to share what I had told her about my recent experience. So here goes. Although I’ve had some great successes with chiropractic care some years back, in recent months, I didn’t even think to see anyone about some bad pains I’ve been having in my leg. A couple of weeks ago I finally decided to stop by one of the locations that’s right near where I get my haircut every couple of weeks. I immediately felt good about the consultation and thought that I might be able to make some progress. In the last three weeks, I’ve been to three locations while traveling with work. And starting with the second treatment, I already started to feel much better. And I have to tell you that putting up with pain all day or for weeks is not only foolish, but it really changed my mood. On the days when my pains were the worst, my mood about the entire day was really off. I’m happy to say that most of my pain is now gone, and my mood is back to where I used to be. I don't usually do reviews on Services, but The Joint is absolutely worth subscribing to. The receptionist are quick and attentive. The Chiropractors are experienced and gentle. It's so safe I've even seen pregnant women coming in. Their subscription plans are very affordable when it comes to the value and relief they provide.

Campbell at wake forest location has been phenomenal! I went from numbness and tingling in my hands with severe neck and back pain to virtually pain free! Now it’s not overnight it did take me a few months but well worth the wait! He also gave great advice regarding at home treatment like heating pad, etc. to help in the interim. I could not be more pleased! Great location, and impressed with level of care they show! Thank you so much joint clinic for improving my pain levels!! 10010 recommend! Truly a lifesaver.

The Joint Chiropractic Center of Wake Forest is absolutely amazing! I was in a great deal of pain for several months due to a fall, and I thought the pain would just go away on it's own. The Joint is the best existing program for folks like me who need help but are just sick and tired of insurance companies and primary care doctors that can't fix your back or neck, but force you to pay them for nothing.
