Use Everything Available to Support Health
By Tom Herrin
When you are trying to make your health better, it is important that you never leave a stone unturned. This may include doing some things that are not at all what may be considered conventional. In studies, many have tried to look at all of the possible angles of what may actually have an effect on living better. As a result, they have generally agreed that most people seem to prefer to maintain temperatures at a range of between 60 and 80 degrees. With modern technology, they are able to manage this with climate control that is available in most homes and businesses.
Sleep Better Without Meds
There are so many people suffering from sleep issues that the production and sale of things designed to help this situation is a big industry. While it may be necessary in some cases, simply managing their environment may be all it takes to have a positive impact. At times, this is actually very little. After studying the effects of temperature on sleep, some have concluded that a range from 65-72 degrees may be best for sleeping. To be even more definite, they have said that 68 degrees may be ideal. Apparently when people sleep at some warmer temperatures, their sleep cycle does not work as well and Rapid Eye Movement may not occur as it should. Sleeping in cooler temps may help to make it more successful.
Lose Weight With a Plan
When people attempt to lose weight, they may try all kinds of things. There are plenty available. In some studies, it has been found that people may be able to do so when they maintain a temperature range of 64-67 degrees. This may require a person to sleep with some covers over them. For many, this consistently helps them to sleep better and stay asleep longer. Some even sleep with weighted blankets and find that this works well for them.
Try a Few Things
We all have to play with some trial-and-error when we are making improvements or changes. Adjusting the thermostat is a minor thing to do, but it can work for many. I always turn down mine each night before I go to bed. For me, it seems to work well. I find that I am able to go to sleep and stay that way. If I wake up during the night, I am able to go back to sleep sooner.
