Dr. Matthew Downing, affectionately known as Dr. Matt, is a dedicated Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated from Cleveland University Kansas City. Before pursuing his chiropractic education, he earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business from SCFF in Missouri.
Dr. Matt is deeply passionate about helping patients achieve pain-free, fully functional lives through natural healing. He takes great pride in witnessing the incredible progress his patients make—from struggling with pain and limited mobility during their first visits to thriving after routine adjustments. For Dr. Matt, chiropractic care is a powerful way to help the body heal itself without the need for medications or surgery.
Dr. Matt's journey into chiropractic care began with his own experience. After sustaining injuries in his previous profession, he turned to chiropractic care and experienced life-changing relief, allowing him to enjoy his career pain-free. This transformative experience inspired him to help others achieve similar outcomes.
One of Dr. Matt’s most memorable moments as a chiropractor came early in his career when a patient came in with mid-back pain. Through a detailed examination and x-rays, he identified a severe abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) and immediately referred the patient to the emergency room. Later that day, an ER physician called to inform him that his quick action likely saved the patient’s life.
Growing up in a military family, Dr. Matt moved frequently during his childhood, which fostered his love for travel and adventure. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and cheering on his favorite football teams.
Dr. Matt’s commitment to improving the lives of his patients and his ability to blend expertise with genuine care make him a trusted partner in their journey to better health and well-being.
