She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Point University in 2021 before continuing her education at Life University, where she pursued her doctorate in chiropractic care.

Her first experience in the field was as a student intern in Portland, Tennessee, and she officially joined The Joint Chiropractic team, in Johnson City, TN, in September 2025. Dr. Rouzee is passionate about helping people achieve wellness naturally, and she finds great fulfillment in guiding patients toward healthier, more balanced lives.

Outside of the office, Dr. Rouzee enjoys listening to music and playing instruments such as the piano and marimba. She also loves riding her motorcycle through the mountains. At home, she shares her life with two cats, Oreo and Cinnamon, and two dogs, Kevin (a Doberman) and Zeus (a Shih Tzu).

Dr. Daniel Lenhart joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2024 when he became part of the team at the South Asheville clinic, where he does the rewarding work of helping people as their local healthcare provider.

“Whether it is seeing patients for wellness care or more serious issues, I enjoy helping people improve and maintain their health utilizing the power of their own body,” he says. “My colleagues are another reason I enjoy the field of chiropractic so much. I appreciate the many conversations and the constant learning.”

Dr. Daniel, as his patients call him, grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. “It wasn't until I joined the Army and sustained a back injury while deployed to Iraq that I realized the career path I would pursue,” he says.

He met his wife, Erin, in Hawaii where she attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa. “She is the most amazing mother to our three children,” he says. “The love and support she provides her family is her greatest quality.”

They are the parents of two girls and one boy. “My daughters compete in gymnastics and it was an absolute blessing to keep them adjusted and watch them compete,” he says.

The family has 12 chickens, two blue nose American pitbulls named Ash and Frankie, and a cat named Schucks.

In addition to spending time with his family, when Dr. Daniel isn’t working, he enjoys boating, recreational shooting, and attending his children's sporting events.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Central Michigan University and a Doctorate at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Boiling Springs.

The most memorable experience he ever had as a chiropractor was giving his son an adjustment just minutes after his birth.

With the contributions of designer and race car driver Carroll Shelby and the influence he had on Ford’s racing history, I can't think of a better person to chat with about the subject.”
  • Neil Armstrong - “I remember growing up in Florida watching the space shuttle launches from my house and I have a fascination with everything space related. What an honor it would be to chat with a man who’s been to the moon and listen to the stories he tells.”

The most memorable experience of Dr. Daniel’s life was the birth of his children. “It was at those moments that I realized my potential for love,” he says. His favorite book is Founding Fathers.

If Dr. Daniel wrote an autobiography, it would be entitled A Curvy Road. The best advice he’s ever received is attributed to Thomas Jefferson: “Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.”

The best advice he could give others is: “Life is short and tomorrow is not guaranteed. Throw caution to the wind and chase your dreams!”

Dr. Carter Knecht was raised in Edgerton, Ohio, and earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Medicine from the University of Toledo in May 2021. He went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated in 2024.

Dr. Knecht began his chiropractic career in West Jefferson, North Carolina, and also practiced in Johnson City, Tennessee, before joining The Joint Chiropractic team in October 2025.

For Dr. Knecht, the best part of being in the chiropractic field is helping patients transform from a state of pain to one of maintenance and healing. He finds it deeply rewarding to witness those life-changing improvements and to be part of his patients’ journey toward better health and function.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Knecht enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He and his wife, Marissa (Santa Rita) Knecht, have one son, Cassius (Cash), and are expecting another son in December 2025. Their family also includes Dallas, a mini goldendoodle.

When it comes to his favorite fridge staple, Dr. Knecht says it’s ranch dressing — because, as he puts it, “it goes with just about any food.”

If he could host a dream dinner party, his guest list would include Neil Armstrong, Robert E. Lee, and Sitting Bull, for the chance to hear firsthand their stories of exploration, leadership, and resilience through history.

The coolest thing Dr. Knecht has ever done? He once hiked the lava fields of the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica, where he also swam in the natural hot springs flowing directly from the volcano’s head — an unforgettable experience that perfectly reflects his sense of adventure and appreciation for the natural world.
