Dr. Mark Campbell graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and summa cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West. He loves his role at The Joint Chiropractic and providing local healthcare services to more than one clinic location, North Knoxville and Sevierville. He joined The Joint’s family of local healthcare providers in 2022.
His first-hand experience led him down the chiropractic path. “A chiropractor restored my back after a motorcycle accident when many other doctor treatments failed,” he says.
Dr. Mark has two adult daughters, and a couple of miniature Australian shepherds named Jack and Holiday. During his down time, Dr. Mark enjoys woodworking, hiking, and observing nature.
“The thing I appreciate most about chiropractic is knowing that I can alleviate a person’s pain without drugs, with my adjustment, and restore them to a better functioning body, thus preventing future dysfunction and disease,” he says. “It’s very rewarding. Who wouldn’t love doing that countless times, with the “side effects” of sleeping better, breathing better, and living more fully?”
One of his most memorable moments as a chiropractor included a patient who brought a case of Tylenol into his office. “They wanted to show me what they were about to return to Costco since their headaches were now gone,” he says.
Dr. Melissa DeTullio Farris graduated New York Chiropractic College in December of 2012. She is passionate about fitness, health, and helping others. She comes from a family of Chiropractors, who inspired her to follow in their footsteps.
Hyppocrates, the wise Greek physician, known as the father of modern medicine, said: “Look well to the spine for the cause of disease.” So Melissa did, and learned about the fascinating and wonderful healing art of Chiropractic. Her mission is to help promote a healthy and balanced nervous system through safe, specific Chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine. This promotes the body’s natural ability to adapt and heal with the greatest amount of potential.
In her spare time, Dr. Melissa enjoys rollerblading, paddle boarding, and playing guitar; but she especially loves exploring the great outdoors and cute coffee shops with her husband Josh.
Dr. Bill Martin graduated with honors from New York Chiropractic College in 2016. Prior to arriving in East Tennessee with his family in 2022, Dr. Bill had practiced in Utah and Washington state.
Part of his time in Washington was as a Clinic Director with The Joint Chiropractic.
Working as a licensed massage therapist with Olympic and professional athletes, as well as beginning a family was what got Dr. Bill interested in furthering his education.
Dr. Bill has two daughters with his wife Bertney, along with an extensive fur family that currently includes 8 cats among other animals.
Dr. Bill is an avid reader and outdoorsman and he and his family are working on their goal of joining the 900 Miler Club after completing every trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Dr. Aly spent her childhood pursuing her dream of becoming an Olympic level figure skater. She was well on her way to accomplishing that goal when she was involved in a car accident that ended her figure skating career. This accident would lead her on her path to chiropractic. Following her accident she spent years just living with the neck and back pain from the trauma of that accident. She tried many traditional medical therapies, and was at the point of considering surgery when she finally went to see a chiropractic husband and wife ~ following only 2 weeks of their chiropractic care Dr. Aly no longer had any back or neck pain! This office is where she began to feel chiropractic's call on her heart to serve people and help them live healthier, happier, pain free lives. Dr. Aly earned her bachelor’s degree from American Military University in Sports & Health Sciences and went on to attend Sherman College of Chiropractic where she earned her doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Aly is certified in the Webster Technique for pregnant mama’s to allow for a more comfortable pregnancy, labour, and delivery and loves to care for mom’s, babies and kids! When she is not in the office you can find Dr. Aly with her 2 furbabies - Sophie Grace & Samara Hope - loving all things fall and mermaids, reading, and helping clients find their dream home with her real estate business!
I graduated from Life West Chiropractic College in December 2001. From a young age, I was inspired by my father to pursue a preventative approach to health—taking vitamins, staying active in sports, and maintaining a wellness-focused lifestyle.
While studying as a Sports Medicine intern in college, a friend introduced me to Chiropractic care. As I explored the field, I quickly realized it aligned closely with my philosophy of proactive, natural healthcare. That discovery led me to chiropractic, a profession that continues to be deeply fulfilling. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help people achieve better health and improved quality of life through personalized, hands-on care.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy running, golfing, kayaking, and spending time in nature.
