He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry before receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA. He started as an associate in Tustin, California, followed by private practice in both Laguna Hills and Sunnyvale, California before relocating to Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Throughout his professional career, he’s also taught middle school science, review classes to help his fellow colleagues prepare for board exams, and delivered over 250,000 chiropractic adjustments to patients as young as ten minutes to 100 years-old. There hasn't been a condition that Dr. J. Jay hasn't seen or heard of in over two decades of practice. He can tell you story after story about the miracles that he's witnessed with chiropractic care. Every day he feels truly blessed to help patients function at their best innate potential that they can experience by being under regular chiropractic care.

Dr. J. Jay has been with The Joint since 2023.
