Having grown up in a rural farming community where she raised horses and livestock, she understands the physical demands of an active life. This was a horrible experience the Dr that I saw or Guy! I should say, was just a bone cracker he had zero bedside manor. He was short one or 2 word responses and telling me do this do that with no consideration of the pain I was in. I need a real Chiropractor I left in more pain than I showed up in. This place didn't even take imaging exray nothing they just start popping you not knowing what the problem is. I will never be back. Places like this should be shut down. It reminds me of when you show up to a barbq and a guy named tank is in the back wrestling people against their wills with the smell of testosterone fumigating the air in a thick pasty aroma that you cannot escape from, meanwhile knowing the inevitability of your spine crushing moment is coming soon. My back was hurting really bad for a while and today I decided to google chiropractic. They popped up first with the promotion for $29 for the first appointment. I called to schedule an appointment and Ashley asked if I could come in now. Very quick, very kind, very helpful. 10/10 will be back later this week!! Been using the Joint for a few months now. Liked the convenience of it. I pay the monthly membership and so does my husband. They receive about $150 monthly from us and we live 50 miles away and typically only get to go twice a month. Today I am just absolutely disgusted by how they treat people. We have two young children, and try to respect their small business by taking turns to sit in the car instead of bringing everyone in. My husband went in approximately 1:53… I watched two more people walk in. Waited for my husband to walk out.. walked up right at 1:59 and the receptionist told me they would not see me because their lunch is at 2, with my husband standing right there. I get it. We all need a lunch break, but I do you a favor by sitting in the car with a 1.5 and 4 year old so your establishment is quiet for other customers (the two that walked in after my husband). Knowing how much we pay a month to be turned away right after my husband was seen is just truly ridiculous. I will be canceling my membership. I work in healthcare, and that’s not the type of care I give to my patients at all. Even after a 12 hour shift, I’ll sit around a little longer, often not getting a lunch break at all. But to each their own.

Used to absolutely love this office, we've been coming for years! Now though, it's just not worth it. Our favorite doctors have all left. The new ones just aren't as personable and do half the adjustment we're used to. Unfortunately we're just not happy with the service anymore and are cancelling our membership. Reply: Sorry, but I will have to disagree. I didn't develop a rapport with just one Dr, it was three and they're all gone now. We even invited one to our wedding! Those three actually cared, so it was easy feeling comfortable with them. On our last visit there were no familiar faces, no "hey, how have you been?" no conversation at all really. The guy I saw played on his phone until I was called back, adjusted my upper back (which isn't the problem area at all) and said "ok, you're all set!" Ever since I left, I've been in pain. That's not the first time this has happened either. I've been visiting the chiropractor 4-6 times a year since I was a small child and since 2020 I've been going on a pretty regular schedule. I know how the experience should be and recently the ball has been dropped BIG TIME at The Joint.

1st timers be prepared to fill out ur life history ur 1st visit. The adjustments were ok but out of 10 I'd give it a 5 overall. Could have done more felt like I was being rushed out almost. Barely wanted to adjust me at all without going to get an xray 1st which I can't afford. Left in pain still. Will be returning to my chiropractor Dr. Jake Morgan at advanced chiropractic next week to get a proper adjustment. Waste of money tbh! The guy with the tattoos was nice but just not what I expect at a chiropractor appointment. Tbh any of the reviews saying they were great I'd love to see how u feel after a real good chiropractor gets ahold of u. Stop wasting money here.

Was a good initial visit with good communication. Would have liked a little more upper back and neck work but the doctor explained why and I will be visiting again for follow-up work per recommendation. Reasonable prices and options for routine adjustments. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Need more like her out there. Overall, very good chiropractic office.

For being understaffed the team did great. The lady at the front desk was very nice and gave very good instruction. Couldn’t say the Doc was any less than awesome! He was humorous and detailed in his work. All around 10/10! Or 5/5. However you want to look at it.

Wasn't my first rodeo but was a great experience all around. The staff was great with helping me with my newborn I had to bring with me so I could go on with everything. All the staff were so nice and in great moods..that is definitely hard to come by now a days. I have more sessions I need to complete but they help so much just on the first visit. This was my first ever chiropractic experience, so I was happy with the way they were very friendly and explained everything very well. When I walked in I could barely walk from tailbone pain, after my alignment I was able to walk without the severe pain. The team was very nice, courteous, explained everything very well. The chiropractor was thorough and made sure everything was done to your comfort. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because while sitting in the waiting area you could hear the conversations between chiropractors and patients. Also, the treatment area was open and you could see others getting their treatment. No privacy shrouds or separate rooms.

So far it’s good. I have hyper mobility issues that cause me to be out of adjustment daily and my migraines are worse in Texas. Getting a good adjustment is key for me and the joint is providing that now.

Okay here's an update to my original post below from last year. I have continued to visit these fine people and while they have had rotating doctors, EVERY ONE of them has been great and got all my joints moved! Yesterday was no exception for another new face but excellent results. And that's what I wanted was results. I also checked out another of their locations a few months ago in Florida and whoever is picking the doctors is doing a great job as they are all good. Paige adjusted me and she is the best chiropractor I have ever met. I’ve been to many different doctors in various states as I travel a lot and without any doubts she is the best. I went in not expecting anything but a big sales pitch and what I received was more than I could have hoped for.

The Joint rocks. No appointments. You just walk in and they get cracking. I have enjoyed the conversation and adjustments with all the chiropractors my wife and I have been to at this location. Special shout-out to Dr. Miller. She’s leaving soon, and my wife is debating if we should just follow her to her next location. We love The Joint in Abilene, but Ashley is where it’s at. You’ll be missed. Everyone is wonderful and so personable. The three doctors that are going to still be there are great too! We’ve never had a bad experience.

They do a very thorough adjustment and always ask if there are any more areas I would like them to adjust. They treat me like family and ask me about things I told them I am involved in or were involved in. You can't beat their membership pricing, it's worth it. They are owned, operated, and trained by a very acclaimed chiropractor. I recommend the Joint %100.

I've been here a couple times, and saw Dr. Young. She did a pretty good job, but I've noticed for my particular issue that women DCs have a hard time adjusting the particular spot in my upper thoracic/lower neck. Even some male DCs have this issue, but because the men don't have breasts like women they can (some) can do the thoracic pull method better (more power and using the chest instead of back side as the women do). Anyway I feel better leaving here than when I entered and I'm grateful for that. If you're in the area and have some back pain I definitely recommend stopping here for a visit. Any relief is welcomed and they'll definitely be able to help out with that. Thank you Dr. Young

I've been going to the West Texas back clinic, but these girls make coming to the Chrio a BREEEZZE! These have flex plans, and even a special to get started with the initial visit. The hardest part was signing up! The care team here is one of the most professional in the State/Country comparative to the area, in my opinion working after in the medical field for over 13 years. The Docs on site are absolutely WELL informed on the latest techniques and advances to musculoskeletal health. They are LGBTQ+ accepting and caring! If you need an adjustment while in Abilene, this is the by far best price per service you are gonna receive in this area. Edit: Also to note this is an affiliate with West Texas back clinic! West Texas back is Outstanding as well, this clinic is just a little more convenient imo. Wofford B.S., M.S., D.C., FICC and Bailey DC are great for adjustments needing a little more persuasion @ West Texas Back Clinic I am pretty tight, and hard to adjust, and had no problems reaching my goals through this clinic.

I have been to many Chiropractic Doctors over the years. All of them, in my book, have been very over priced for the services provided. The Joint not only has great pricing for single visits, but also affordable plans for anyone's budget. The Doctors there are very friendly and also knowledgeable about back issues. DR. MILLER is the Best!!! This is the place to go for adjustments. Great monthly special that is just as cheap as a co-pay for single adjustment at other offices. Walk in get adjustment and walk out they don't try to up sale you on products. Its all about you and your health here. Reading other reviews people don't understand chiropractic care they can't fix you over night. Your body has been in a bad situation for awhile it takes time to fix it. The build up of lactic acid and toxins being released may make you feel bad afterwards but its part of the healing process. Educate yourself people before posting a negative review.

The first time I went it was okay I had Ashley and she took her time and gave me some relief. Second time Ashley again but what was getting better got worse. Went today and got another girl. Never got her name cause she seemed hurried with me even though I was the only one there and it was still an hour and a half before they went to lunch. She did not really talk to me or explain what she was doing or give me warning when did my neck. My neck never hurts but now can't hardly move without being in pain.

Well I don’t understand why there’s negative reviews…? Seems some of them are the same person, but I guess ignorant people have to have somewhere to throw blame. BUT anyways I had the BEST experience at the Joint. I arrived early, because I was a new patient, with my husband and was checked in quickly and the receptionist was very sweet, she explained military discounts and plan options which are WAY more affordable than other clinics. We were both nervous, but the doctors explained what they were doing thoroughly and you couldn’t ask for more. We left feeling so relieved, five stars isn’t enough

I had an OUTSTANDING experience at the Joint! Abigail greeted me as I walked in with a warm smile and got me started right away, walking me through the registration process and informing me of the various plans they have available. She was very helpful, not only to me but also to two other patients who came in while I was there. Dr. Ashley gave a great adjustment, and I felt an immediate relief from some tension I'd been experiencing. I'm a bigger guy and so Dr. Wofford jumped in and gave one final adjustment before I left - great teamwork among the chiropractors! I highly recommend anyone to this establishment, whether it's for a one-time adjustment or signing up for one of their plans.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I drove two hours to get realigned because they told me I could come anytime before 4, no appointments only walk ins. I get there and the receptionist tells me to come back Monday when they are accepting new patients because they don’t accept new ones after 2:30. If I had been informed this prior, I wouldn’t have wasted the gas or time to come here. However, I was not informed and treated very unfair. The receptionist should have communicated this with me on the phone and according to the doctor she should have. This employee should go through more customer service training or be fired for her lack of knowledge.

This is the worst place if you want good quality customer service. I called ahead of time and was told they only take walk ins, no appointments and you have to arrive before 4pm. I live two hours away and drove the whole way up here to get realigned just to be declined service because they don’t take new patients after 2:30. If we had be informed this on the phone we would not have had any problems and I wouldn’t have driven all this way. This company needs to train their receptionist better in understanding the policies and communicating that to potential clients.
