Walked in first thing and felt like I interrupted a conversation. They looked up at me and asked how they can assist, I went to inform them that I needed an adjustment. First time patient, Dr. James asked about my injuries and I let him know that I had been ran over in 2019. He instantly started to make me feel out of place, like he didn’t want to take me as a patient or explain anything other then the joint is a wellness clinic and they don’t take auto accidents. My treatment has been closed for sometime but the case is still open in the sense it’s in court rn. I’ve been cleared by my general practitioner and PT to seek out chiropractic care and they had recommended this location, though I’m not pleased to say they truly didn’t even want to listen to me when I said this. Dr. James had it in his mind he didn’t want to care for me, and made me feel like he didn’t care about my health or wellness. When I called back to ask for an explanation about reason I was denied, he asked to refer me elesewhere. Don’t feel like he wanted to listen to me as he was stuck on saying his hands were tied with policy? I don’t see a policy anywhere stating the joint doesn’t accept people with previous injury???

Filled out all paperwork and waited just to be told the dr had to leave so they couldn't see me now. If there is no availability then you should tell the customer up front before making them wait in pain and fill out tons of paperwork. So mad right now!

Due to chronic lower back pain, stress, and just a need to have an attitude adjustment, I purchased a membership. All I had to do was explain my need and point to my problem areas.
