3 Ways to Fight That Big Bloated Belly

One of the worst feelings in the world is that feeling of being over the top bloated. You are uncomfortable. Your pants suddenly hurt to wear. You get a stitch in your side when you move or bend. You feel as if a pin would literally pop you.

Getting rid of this bloated feeling is possible if you know what to do. By getting rid of the bloat, you not only will you feel better, but you will look better too without that distended belly. For fighting bloat and keeping a flat stomach, check out these tips.

Drink Some Water

I know this probably sounds like dumb advice. How could you possibly put more in your belly, right? Actually, however, drinking water will help move your digestive tract and flush that bloated feeling out. It can also help to rid your body of the dreaded water weight.

The more you drink, the more your body excretes, and the less bloated and full you will feel. Make sure that you sip and don’t gulp so that you don’t contribute to that bloated feeling in the process.

Go For a Walk

This is another one that sounds miserable, but will really work. When you are bloated, moving around will help move the system and flush the body. Bloat is really nothing more than food, drink, and gaseous waste trapped in the digestive system. So, if you can get it out or get it moving, you will feel better automatically. Luckily, you don’t have to walk fast or far. Just the simple act of moving about is probably enough to flush your body of these toxins and make your tummy flat again.

Eat Some Kiwi

Kiwi is full of a lot of good nutrients, but one thing that it has that can help with bloat is fiber. Fiber helps move the digestive tract. While lots of food contains fiber, kiwi is a great choice because it will work subtly. If you are already bloated, eating a lot of fiber may make it worse. Slowly eating small amounts of fiber, however, may help move the digestive tract along without causing more damage.
