The Patriot Project in Windham, NH
The Patriot Project is sweeping the nation in an effort to provide access to chiropractic care, for our nation’s veterans and active duty service members at no cost.
Some of the most common injuries seen in military action affect the musculoskeletal system. Whether it be excessive weight carrying due to equipment, injuries during training, combat injuries, or any other form of musculoskeletal malady, those involved in the military contribute to an overwhelming proportion of the musculoskeletal injury burden. The Patriot Project is trying to help change that.
One of the newer members participating in The Patriot Project is the Southern New Hampshire Chiropractic Center LLC of Windham, New Hampshire. It is one of three practices in the entire state that is participating in the nationwide effort to provide this vulnerable population who has sacrificed so much with chiropractic care, for injuries and other conditions resulting from this sacrifice. So many chiropractors have spoken out claiming that it is the least that they can do. Many within the chiropractic community that is participating in The Patriot Project are able to acknowledge that they would not be in a position to provide chiropractic care and to live life in the way that they do, if it were not for veterans and active service members protecting our country.
The Patriot Project extends chiropractic care to the families of veterans and active service members in an effort to increase the overall wellness of the population and everyone impacted by having a veteran or active service member in their life. While there may not be many people in the state of New Hampshire, the effectiveness of this program reaching a large percentage of the population in terms of awareness is extremely helpful in promoting the cause of chiropractic care state wide. When parts of the country that are not participating in The Patriot Project are exposed to ones that do, it seems that the growth of the project has the potential to increase rapidly.
