Dr. Davis is a born and raised Texan. Originally from Houston, his military service took him across the country and around the world before returning to Texas to begin his career first as a massage therapist and then later as a chiropractor. Dr. Davis chose to pursue a career in chiropractic after experiencing firsthand how impactful chiropractic care can be in a person's life.
He attended Parker University in Dallas, where he met his wife, and they graduated together in the spring of 2015.
After suffering a back injury during his time in the military, chiropractic care was the only thing that reduced the unbearable pain and restored function to his body. Since that experience, he has been striving to bring that same level of care to every patient he encounters. He has additional training in caring for patients both during and after pregnancy, and enjoys helping patients during that exciting time in their lives. He is happy to serve at The Joint and looks forward to caring for you and your family.
Dr. Tankersley has been a licensed chiropractor in Texas since 1985. After attending The University of North Texas, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After moving back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area he teamed up with The Joint at Alliance Town Center.
He has been married to his wife Judy for 40 years, has eight children, 10 grandchildren, and therefore has a lot of experience adjusting children.
Dr. Tankersley is a highly experienced chiropractor with a strong belief in our bodies ability to heal itself when we remove the interferences caused by subluxations. He encourages everyone to get regular chiropractic care to enhance their chances of living a healthy life.
His style of practice ranges from non-force to low force to firm manipulation techniques depending on the requirements of the patient. “I have really enjoyed working for The Joint because of their wellness concept which is front and center. It is refreshing to be in an environment that welcomes walk-ins and makes consistent chiropractic care both available and affordable.”
