Magnetic Resonance Therapy Shows Promise in Chiropractic Care
Chiropractors do not rely solely on spinal adjustments to help treat their patients. Many utilize other treatments to supplement their care, including ultrasound and electric muscle stimulation. Another treatment gaining popularity is magnetic resonance therapy, which uses a low-level magnetic field to activate specific cells and/or tissue areas. A new device called the Magnesphere provides this therapy over the entire body in one fallow swoop.
The Magnesphere does not cure problems but instead helps ease symptoms without side effects. Human tissue has its own frequency, and the device helps to heal and realign those molecules. The Magnesphere has shown promise in managing several different conditions, including autism, MS, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It has also been shown to help with phantom limb effects, which people who have lost limbs offer suffer from. Therefore, the Magnesphere has been highly sought after for treating soldiers returning from active duty.
Currently the large Magnesphere can only be utilized in-office, but it is hoped that the device can be developed into a portable version, allowing patients to use it in the comfort of their own homes. The Halo, a version that can be assembled over a recliner, has been created for this purpose with fundraising efforts underway to get the technology to the people that need it most. In the meantime, this large and relatively new machine will remain in office. In the meantime, patients can talk to their primary care physicians and chiropractors about this or similar treatments.
Chiropractic has been used to treat disorders such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD for many years and has shown promise in its efficacy. When utilized alongside traditional medicine, chiropractic care is an excellent way to treat symptoms of neurological disorders and mental health issues in a natural, non-invasive way. Until the Magnesphere and its little brother the Halo is widely available, the current treatments available will suffice.
