Outside the clinic, Dr. Loehrer finds joy in spending time with his family, including his spouse Jjohnnah and their four children. Jjohnnah, a military veteran and controller of a large international company, is not only his life partner but also his best friend. The couple shares the joys of parenthood, with their adult daughter excelling as a married mother and primary grade teacher, one son pursuing a career in accounting, another navigating high school, and a youngest in elementary school.

The Loehrer household is lively with the presence of two small, energetic dogs named Molly and Steve, who diligently protect the family yard.
