Dr. Ajay Abraham loves helping others, which began at an early age. He volunteered at his schools, church, and local hospital since the age of 12. He wanted to improve people’s health with his passion of helping others. He completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science at the University of Houston in 2010. He then went on to further his education and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2014.
Dr. Abraham has a passion for sports and has done internships with Memorial Hermann’s Sports Rehab Therapy, Baylor College of Medicine physical education for the youth, and has been on two football teams medical staff. Chiropractic has changed his life, as he was a young athlete suffering from back pain and debilitating back spasms.
Dr. Abraham has been treating the Houston community since 2016, and loves seeing the results of Chiropractic transform their health almost instantaneously. Dr. Abraham enjoys watching basketball and football when he’s not spending time with his lovely wife and two amazing daughters. Dr. Barrett Terry grew up in the small town of Marlin, Texas and graduated from Marlin High School in 2003. He completed his undergraduate degree in Sport Management at Texas A&M University before pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic at Texas Chiropractic College where he also received a second Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. He began his chiropractic career working for a family chiropractic practice in 2011. In 2012, Dr. Terry moved to Houston and began his career with The Joint Chiropractic. He fell in love with The Joint model of improving quality of life through routine and affordable chiropractic care. In fact, he loved it so much that in 2017, he purchased a clinic of his own in West University, located within 5 miles of the Texas Medical Center, the Houston Zoo, NRG stadium, home of the Houston Texans and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, as well as two leading universities, Rice University and University of Houston.
As a teenager, Dr. Terry suffered with migraine headaches. When no other interventions worked, his mom, who is a lifelong chiropractic patient, took him to see her chiropractor and after a few adjustments the migraines disappeared. He also played sports throughout his youth and high school years and saw the benefits of chiropractic when he had a shoulder injury. While at Texas A&M University, Dr. Terry worked for the football team and once again witnessed the power of chiropractic in keeping athletes on the field through pain management, injury prevention, spinal correction, and wellness. With these experiences, he knew he wanted a career that would allow him to help others get back to their lives pain free.
In his free time, Dr. Terry enjoys being outdoors, watching sports, playing golf, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He is married to his college sweetheart and has 3 dogs.
