Dr. Ramesh Sanghani became a part of The Joint Chiropractic network in 2017 when he joined the local team at the Las Colinas clinic in Irving. Dr. Sanghani is a 1994 graduate of Old Dominion, where he received his bachelor of science degree in biology, and Parker College, where he received his doctorate.
“The thing I appreciate most about being in the chiropractic field is healing patients with a human touch,” Dr. Sanghani says. “It is wonderful to make a difference in the lives of others when medicine fails.”
Dr. Sanghani enjoys spending time with wife Kanan and their two children, and watching Bollywood movies.
A product of a family with other doctors, he says he was driven to contribute in his own way. “Having too many medical doctors in the family, I wanted to do something unique -- chiropractic,” Dr. Sanghani says.
Dr. Sanghani says the “appealing work environment” is the thing he enjoys most about working at the Las Colinas clinic.
In Case You Didn’t Know …
Dr. Sanghani says the one thing he must have in his fridge is actually on a magnet on the fridge door. “I have a to-do list,” he says. “If I don’t, things will not get done.”
The thing in his life that Dr. Sanghani is most proud of is the decision he made when he was a young man. “I believe the coolest thing I have ever done is to become the first chiropractor in my family, where there are many medical doctors,” he says. “I get to be unique and show off.”
Dr. Evans was born and raised in a small town in Northern California called Cottonwood. From a young age, Dr. Evans was very active and played football, baseball, soccer, basketball, ran track and wrestled. he attributes his ability to not only participate but excel in these activities to the continuous chiropractic care he received from his childhood chiropractor whom he started seeing at the age of 7. After graduating high school in 1992, Dr. Jason joined the Navy where he served on the USS Tarawa for 2 years. After several years and several careers, he decided to go to school and graduated from Arizona State University with a business degree. Still unsure what he wanted to do he recalled the positive influence his childhood chiropractor had in his life and quickly enrolled at Parker University where he quickly learned his true passion; caring for others and allowing them their best opportunity to heal and express their true health. More than anything, he loves turning you power back on. Since Graduation Dr. Jason Has worked as an associate for two other chiropractors and owned his own practice. He came to The Joint to further refine his craft and focus on taking care of patients. Dr. Jason practices using diversified and Gonstead but is also proficient in activator and Thompson drops.
Dr. Kellus Pruitt was born in Fort Worth then moved to Arlington where he grew up and graduated high school. He spent his undergraduate education across many fields at several universities, then settled on the healthcare field. His fascination for life and the human body put him on the path to chiropractic. After graduating with his bachelors, he went into chiropractic school at Parker University graduating in 2017. During the chiropractic program, his body suffered gut and brain dysfunctions that led to first-hand experience of how the gut relates to the brain. After conquering the gut-brain dysfunction he took his knowledge into clinic work with chiropractic and dietary consultations to help people inside and out.
Dr. Pruitt learned soft tissue techniques from long-practicing therapists, and other chiropractors giving him the perspective of looking at the body as a moving system of balanced tone. He approaches people with a goal of balancing the tension and reducing stress on the body. The combination of the techniques, knowledge from undergraduate, and practice working at injury clinics gave him skills to better serve others. He joined the joint in June 2019 and has since been practicing with them helping as many people as he can.
His primary passion is teaching, which as a chiropractor is done daily. When he is not helping others or spending time with friends or family, he spends time relaxing playing games, hiking, running, and cycling.
