Dr. Ramesh Sanghani became a part of The Joint Chiropractic network in 2017 when he joined the local team at the Las Colinas clinic in Irving. Dr. Sanghani is a 1994 graduate of Old Dominion, where he received his bachelor of science degree in biology, and Parker College, where he received his doctorate.
“The thing I appreciate most about being in the chiropractic field is healing patients with a human touch,” Dr. Sanghani says. “It is wonderful to make a difference in the lives of others when medicine fails.”
Dr. Sanghani enjoys spending time with wife Kanan and their two children, and watching Bollywood movies.
A product of a family with other doctors, he says he was driven to contribute in his own way. “Having too many medical doctors in the family, I wanted to do something unique -- chiropractic,” Dr. Sanghani says.
Dr. Sanghani says the “appealing work environment” is the thing he enjoys most about working at the Las Colinas clinic.
In Case You Didn’t Know …
Dr. Sanghani says the one thing he must have in his fridge is actually on a magnet on the fridge door. “I have a to-do list,” he says. “If I don’t, things will not get done.”
The thing in his life that Dr. Sanghani is most proud of is the decision he made when he was a young man. “I believe the coolest thing I have ever done is to become the first chiropractor in my family, where there are many medical doctors,” he says. “I get to be unique and show off.”
She most often goes by Dr. Ruth since there are so many Davis’ out there and it can get a little confusing. She joined The Joint in 2021 and has worked at several of our locations across DFW. While she works at multiple clinics, majority of the time you can find her at the Coppell clinic, where she has been serving the Coppell community since February.
“I absolutely enjoy working at the Coppell clinic! Here at the Coppell clinic, I am able to foster a welcoming environment and build connections with the patients. It’s so encouraging to see their eyes light up after getting treated and being that positive light in their health journey.” – Dr. Ruth
Prior to life in Dallas, Dr. Ruth grew up in south Texas. While living in San Antonio, she was always involved with athletics, which ultimately led to her discovery of chiropractic care. This allowed her to continue competitive sports throughout grade school and into college, recreationally. In 2016, Dr. Ruth graduated from Howard Payne University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and health sciences. Following graduation, she spent time working at a local chiropractic clinic when she wasn’t tending to her athletes. While there she found her passion for chiropractic and decided to pursue that next. Fast forward a few years. In 2020, Dr. Ruth graduated from Parker University with her Master of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. Since graduation, she has worked in the DFW area.
Fun Facts:
Best things about working in chiropractic: “I love having the opportunity to witness miracles happen every day. Not only do I get to see miracles, but I’m also able to have a lasting positive impact on the lives that cross my path, whether patients or other colleagues in the profession.”
In her spare time, she enjoys being active outdoors including hiking, kayaking, running, playing soccer, and yoga. She also enjoys spending quality time with friends & family as well as playing with her pup, Apollo.
Dr. Ruth’s dog is her favorite workout partner. He’s a Samoyed/Husky mix and looks like a big fluffy polar bear.
One must have in her fridge is water! “I’m always on-the-go so I like to have water on deck to stay hydrated and fuel my days between work, working out and all the adventures in between. Can’t go without it!”
Four “famous” people she’d want to have dinner with: Zendaya, Simone Biles, Billie Eilish, Alex Morgan. While all of these women come from different backgrounds and professions, they’re all successful in their arenas. Each of them has positively impacted our culture, inspiring others to think “outside the box” and constantly challenge societal norms. They remain grounded with down to earth personalities, so I would love the chance to hang out, “pick their brains” a bit, and learn from them.
Coolest thing I’ve ever done: “I love adventures and thrill seeking, but I have to say, skydiving & cliff jumping are by far the most exciting. As crazy as it may be, it provides you with a different appreciation for life. It’s super cool to enjoy the beauty of nature from that perspective.”
