I am a huge fan of the joint chiropractic. They are so affordable and after your initial check up you get in and out pretty fast. All of the physicians are so nice. The facility is open concept but it’s nice and clean and just an overall nice environment. I come once a week and it has made such a huge difference in my neck and shoulder pain.

This was my first time ever at a Chiropractor and it had been way long overdue. I heard great things about The Joint & decided to finally go in. The staff was very helpful and kind which makes a huge difference to me because Customer Service is everything! I was attended by Dr. Z and he is superb! I am highly upset about gettin the cancelation emailed to me. My husband signed up for the wellness plan the dr suggested that my husband stop goin to the chiropractor until further notice. I asked to be emailed Mon April 17th wen I signed the cancelation form. Still had not received anything. So I called Sun April 23rd to make sure the cancelation was done I was told it was canceled & that I was goin to get the cancelation sent to my email April 23rd. I still hve not received it. So I guess im goin to hve to go back in person to get a copy of the cancelation of the wellness plan. I am not very happy at this point. Other than the email Mrs McKalister was awesome

I really enjoy this place and all the drs & the staff. I always leave feeling like a new woman. 03/24/23-Update after 10 consecutive treatments using the super affordable treatment plan they offer. I have a lot of old injuries that have caused me stiffness & pain for years and now after these treatments, I am finding that I have increased range of motion in all those areas and am experiencing an overall sense of wellness, especially energetically. I prefer Dr.Z if he is available but I have been treated by Dr.McAlister & Dr.Trevino as well and they are all really talented in what they do. I recommend this place to everyone I meet that is looking for a chiropractor.

I used to have back and neck discomfort every week for 1 to 3 days, i walked in the moment it got worse. I couldn't turn my neck, and driving became difficult. My father went in today to be seen and unfortunately, he was racially profiled. My sister accompanied my dad to help with paperwork and so forth, receptionist identified that my father and sister spoke spanish. Soon after my father was told they prefer to reschedule him because they "preferred" a spanish speaking Chiropractor to be present. While I understand the importance of making sure my dad fully understands what is being said, it was made very loud and clear, several times, that my dad fully speaks and UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH. Receptionist even spoke to my dad in english to "validate" he understands what is being said. My father was not given a chance. We were discriminated here at this practice. This is NOT OK. It's not acceptable. This will be reported to BBB and the Texas Chiropractic Association.

I have suffered from severe back pain since I was about ten years old. After a back spasm recently left me unable to walk for a few weeks I came into the Joint and they have been working on me a few times a week since then. Adjustments have changed my quality of life and actually improved my PTSD. The doctors are kind and respectful and always make me feel good about myself in addition to making my body feel better. I have never had a doctor there I didn't like and I go to both locations. The front desk staff at each location is kind and compassionate and fun to talk to. I highly recommend the Joint in Lubbock.

They need to add a 0 choice because it did not feel honest to even give them 1 star. I signed up for $69 a month plan. By the third treatment I knew they could do nothing for me but cause more pain. The last "Treatment" I was asked to get on the bump table, pushed on my back 3 times and told that was all (took 4-5 minutes). I walked out of there with more pain each time I came in for a treatment. After 3 treatments I did not return for the 4th one or for what they called 2 free ones. I came to them to ease the pain and ended up in more pain than I could stand. I was charged $69 dollars for a second month 11/04/2021 and paid it but did not see a reason to pay anymore for them to cause me more pain.

I am a long term patient with the Joint. It has been getting hard and hard to get into either location to get adjusted in a timely manner. I understand that growth is important and continuious with new patients. But for those of us that are continually loyal to your business for your services month after month it is getting harder to want to continue. The Dr coverage for two stores is slowly getting harder and harder to deal with. It is a Saturday and one store has two Drs and a line out the door and the new location has one Dr and a line out the door. There are new patients mixed with existing. The front counter staff does not know how to manage or communicate the time with the volume of customers. At this point it would be more logical to allow appointments for your loyal customers. I am reaching to point of going back to Dr McApline for adjustments during the week.

Great place to obtained chiropractic at an affordable price. Always able to get in with little to no waiting, as two chiropractors are always on duty. Dr Parrish has become our preference for weekly adjustments, as we’re able to relate to an older person :). Have been to Dr Sims on occasion and she is always pleasant to work with. Had 3-4 previous adjustments from other chiropractors in Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Its been 2 weeks since I saw Dr. Merchant. I've been in pain since, with no relief from adjustment. I am so excited. A week ago I could barely walk from my hip being out from a fall. My shoulder was completely shifted forward also causing extreme neck pain. I have been to my primary care Doc, have taken the muscle relaxers, and went for physical therapy. I finally had a MRI. Nothing was helping. Today was my 3rd visit to The Joint. Dr. Merchant took his time talking to me. We made a plan and I felt better after the 1st visit. The 2nd visit gave me even more relief. Today though I feel nearly 100% better. I have been spending time outside which I have missed. The price is so much cheaper than other places I have gone and the best part is they are open every day. I have not waited more than 5 minutes. Everyone is so nice. Even the ladies a the front desk really care and want me to feel better. A new patient needs to be there a couple of hours before they close. I honestly appreciated this because even though I had to come back the next day, I felt safer because the Doctor insisted on having the required time to spend talking with me and not just rushing me through my first visit.

Today was a little slower and Dr Scotty was able to take some time with my lower back. My spasm was so bad that nothing wanted to give, but after a bit of small adjustments I started having motion in my lower back and less pain. We even talked about ways to improve my range of motion and noted muscle atrophy that needed work and which was causing some of my issues. Been a Joint mber for 3 years and highly recommend. My normal office is in Burbank CA but I've been treated in Salt Lake City, and, today, Lubbock TX. It was great each time, I walk in and scan my card and I'm in...my notes and preferred adjustment methods are documented, and I when its my turn, I'm adjusted and out the door. For someone like me who needs periodic adjustments but needs flexibility on time and location, the Joint is great.

Bent down, felt a twinge, then had difficulty standing upright, and walking! I've never been to a chiropractor, and I was apprehensive, but after sucking it up and rubbing dirt on it didn't work, I gave in. I'm so glad I did! The young lady at the desk was very helpful, and Dr. Scotty explained the process very well. After my adjustment, I was able to stand up straight, and walk much better. I will be back!

Yesterday was my first visit and I feel 90% better than when I walked in. Dr. Loza took the time to ask me how I was feeling and did a short exam before adjusting me. She explained what my problem areas were and what we were doing to do to fix it. After the adjustment, she gave me some stretches and recommended that I come back to try to keep my neck in place where it should be. I did have to fill out a bit of paperwork, but I waited less than 15 minutes to be seen. I recommend this place to anyone who has headaches, neck tension, back & hip problems, etc. The price is great too! $29 for your first visit, $39 after that. They also offer pricing packages.

I like the way this place looks when you walk in. The woman who works at the front desk is very friendly. The Doctor has been very nice and good at answering all my questions about my problems. The staff has been friendly both times I have been in. The Dr's take the time to walk you through what they are doing and what is wrong, and exactly what to do when you get home. I received an email of the exercises that I should do at home (with videos...which is great because I forgot a couple). I was hurting pretty bad on a Sunday morning and was able to get in (I love the fact they are open on the weekends) and they are super affordable.

I’m from out of town. My 5 year old got a terrible crick in his neck. I walked into The Joint half bent over in 10/10 agonizing pain. In less then three weeks and a few treatments I am now at a 1/10, I honestly did not even hope for that good of results. Dr. Larry keeps telling me that getting my nerves checked and functioning at 100% is important for my health and wellness, I do not quite understand him but going from a 10 to 1 in pain I am a believer in a self healing body with the help of chiropractic.

Having had my fourth back surgery in February of 2014, I felt I needed some help with stiffness and range of motion in my C-spine and Lumbar spine. I had one visit with Dr. Larry Callaway and then purchased follow up visits. As of July 15, 2014 I have one visit left that I will use on Jul 18. I am fully satisfied with the care and plan on continuing with a membership. Dr. Larry has shown me that follow up care and chiropractic should be part of my health and wellness plan. I feel better then I Have in year. Dr Larry and the ladies that run the front desk have made me feel extremely comfortable and well cared for.
