Dr. Caitlin Sims was born in Fresno, California in 1987. She graduated from Sierra High School in 2005 before obtaining a full ride scholarship to compete on New Mexico State University's Equestrain Team. That is where she majored in Agricultural Business and Economics and met her husband Aaron Sims. In 2012, Aaron became the local Game Warden for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, in charge of Terry and Yoakum counties. Dr. Sims then graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California in December 2014 and reunited with her husband in Brownfield, TX. She and her husband have two children, 2.5 year old daughter Addison and 11 month old son Jaron.
Dr. Sims practiced at Brownfield Chiropractic for two years before attending Options for Animals in Wellsville, Kansas where she became certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association to practice animal chiropractic. She had a mobile practice know as All Creatures Chiropractic, PLLC for the last year.
Dr. Sims loves all things family, animals (especially horses), outdoors, green chili, and is blessed to call West Texas home. Her passion in chiropractic is to give everyone in her community the opportunity to achieve health and wellness from a non-invasive holistic approach.
Dr. Marisabelle Tevino was born in Hale Center, Texas. She graduated from Plainview High School in 2009 before attending Wayland Baptist University, where she received her bachelors in Fitness Management and a specialization in Sports Medicine. After graduating from WBU, she attended Parker University and received a bachelors in Anatomy and Health and Wellness.
Dr. Trevino pursued chiropractic care after serving as a Chiropractic Assistance and seeing patients achieve their goal of decreased pain and knew she wanted to be able to give that relief to someone else. She completed her schooling knowing she wanted to work in a field that she could treat a variety of people and not just one specific group of people.
Dr. Trevino loves spending time with her extended family who live in Plainview, Austin and Florida. While in Lubbock she enjoys playing the guitar and grilling outside on the patio during the warm summer days in West Texas.
Dr. Ernie Fields was born in Paducah Texas in 1957. He graduated from Paduccah High School before attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. Dr. Fields went to school with a motivation to better understand the back issues he had experienced. He quickly became passionate about helping patients to live a pain free life.
After graduating from Parker University in 1994, Dr. Fields was able to operate his own clinic for many years. He has recently joined our Lubbock South clinic after realizing he missed building patient relationships and having a work family.
Dr. Fields enjoys riding his Harley, hunting and fishing. He also enjoys spending the most of his time with his 4 kids and 4 grandchildren and partaking in a good Mexican dish.
Dr. Shadi Nejat was born in Iran in 1981. She graduated from Martin High School in Arlington Texas before attending the University of Texas at Arlington, where she received her bachelor's degree in biology.
Dr. Nejat wanted to help people achieve their optimum health. This led her to graduate from Parker College of Chiropractic and practice for the past 13 years. Her and her family have since moved to Lubbock Texas, where she is pursuing her PHD in nutritional sciences and her husband serves as faculty member at Texas Tech University.
Dr. Nejat loves spending time with her husband and two children Aiden and Maya. As a family, they enjoy traveling and exploring museums. She also finds joy in cooking and reading books. Her passion in chiropractic is to be able to help all patients out of pain.
