Dr. Nathan Byard was born and raised in Midlothian and surrounding areas. Growing up with a love for animals, it was Dr. Byard’s goal to become a Veterinarian. After volunteering over a year with Dr. Adkins, he realized his calling was to help people more than animals, so he transitioned toward Chiropractic.
He attended the University of Texas at Austin and obtained a bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences / Dietetics. He then attended Parker University in Dallas, completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic in April of 2016. He has also completed the ICAK accreditation (International College of Applied Kinesiology).
After graduation, Dr. Byard owned his own practice for more than 3 years in North Dallas, treating patients holistically with a focus on physical, emotional, chemical, genetic, and environmental trauma.
"I enjoy spending time at home with my gorgeous wife and 3 wonderful children. One of the amazing miracles I have experienced with chiropractic involves my oldest son, Zane. He was born 4 months premature and during his first few months of life he was having numerous apneic episodes every day. Immediately following his first adjustment, his number of apneic episodes dropped by 90% and continued improving.
After reading a study on how monthly chiropractic adjustments can lengthen your telomeres by 8% (part of your DNA that determines age), I believe that every person should be adjusted at least monthly. For comparison, the standard I keep for my family is at least weekly. If it’s what I recommend for my family, it’s what I recommend for yours.”
Dr. Drew, a lifelong Dallas area resident, was committed to being a doctor from his earliest memories. While preparing for Medical School he was exposed to Chiropractic and the idea that physical function can contribute to health. This proved to be a powerful idea that fit with his understanding of wellness. He focused his curiosity on this drug-free method of strengthening the body, skeletal alignment. He continues to be a student of our self-correcting vehicles, the human body.
Certified in A.M.A. Impairment Guide, Myofascial Therapy and Board eligible for Certification in Rehab, Dr. Drew also taught for 13 years at Parker University where he was selected for Faculty Senate Faculty Member of the Year. He has also taught continuing education seminars throughout the U.S.
In his career he has worked with patients from all areas of life concentrating on athletes with an emphasis on runners.
Dr. Drew has a B.S. in Zoology from Texas Tech, a B.S. in Microbiology from U.T. Arlington and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University.
Dr. Drew is a husband, father, teacher and former Scout leader. He is active in his church and service community.
Dr. Brittney Person is a Texas native who grew up in Red Oak. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.
Dr. Person discovered her calling when visiting a chiropractic office for the first time after her mother had a car wreck. Witnessing the results, seeing so many smiling faces, and hearing both her mother’s and the patients’ stories of healing, she dove head first into the chiropractic field. She knew that this was the type of healing she wanted to provide to people all over.
In 2016, Dr. Person began her chiropractic journey at the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic, where she graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic. While attending Parker, Dr. Person demonstrated her servitude by representing the student body as the Student Senate Secretary. In continuation of that spirit of implementing change, Dr. Person embarked upon a chiropractic mission trip to El Salvador during her stint as a full-time student. The mission work introduced her to difficult health cases on people of all ages. She even had the opportunity to work on the El Salvadoran Army men and women. Dr. Person continues to further her education by attending chiropractic seminars and gaining certifications to better her level of service. Since graduating from Parker, Dr. Brittney Person has helped serve many patients in the DFW area.
Dr. Person can be found spending her free time traveling or relaxing with friends and family. Her mission is to provide personable, quality care that helps individuals live a happy, pain-free and healthy lifestyle.
