Dr. Nathan Byard was born and raised in Midlothian and surrounding areas. Growing up with a love for animals, it was Dr. Byard’s goal to become a Veterinarian. After volunteering over a year with Dr. Adkins, he realized his calling was to help people more than animals, so he transitioned toward Chiropractic.
He attended the University of Texas at Austin and obtained a bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences / Dietetics. He then attended Parker University in Dallas, completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic in April of 2016. He has also completed the ICAK accreditation (International College of Applied Kinesiology).
After graduation, Dr. Byard owned his own practice for more than 3 years in North Dallas, treating patients holistically with a focus on physical, emotional, chemical, genetic, and environmental trauma.
"I enjoy spending time at home with my gorgeous wife and 4 wonderful children. Of the many miracles I have experienced with chiropractic, my favorite involves my oldest son, Zane. He was born 4 months premature and during his first few months of life he was having numerous apneic episodes every day. Immediately following his first adjustment, his number of apneic episodes dropped by 90% and continued improving.
After reading a study on how monthly chiropractic adjustments can lengthen your telomeres by 8% (part of your DNA that determines age), I believe that every person should be adjusted at least monthly. For comparison, the standard I keep for my family is at least weekly. If it’s what I recommend for my family, it’s what I recommend for yours.”

He obtained his Chiropractic Degree in 2016 from Parker University with a certification in Applied Kinesiology as well as a certification in Wellness Consulting in order to continue his passion for Sports Therapy.
