Meet The Doctors

Dr. Nathan Byard, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Red Oak

Dr. Nathan Byard was born and raised in Midlothian and surrounding areas. Growing up with a love for animals, it was Dr. Byard’s goal to become a Veterinarian. After volunteering over a year with Dr. Adkins, he realized his calling was to help people more than animals, so he transitioned toward Chiropractic.

He attended the University of Texas at Austin and obtained a bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences / Dietetics. He then attended Parker University in Dallas, completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic in April of 2016. He has also completed the ICAK accreditation (International College of Applied Kinesiology).

After graduation, Dr. Byard owned his own practice for more than 3 years in North Dallas, treating patients holistically with a focus on physical, emotional, chemical, genetic, and environmental trauma.

"I enjoy spending time at home with my gorgeous wife and 4 wonderful children. Of the many miracles I have experienced with chiropractic, my favorite involves my oldest son, Zane. He was born 4 months premature and during his first few months of life he was having numerous apneic episodes every day. Immediately following his first adjustment, his number of apneic episodes dropped by 90% and continued improving.

After reading a study on how monthly chiropractic adjustments can lengthen your telomeres by 8% (part of your DNA that determines age), I believe that every person should be adjusted at least monthly. For comparison, the standard I keep for my family is at least weekly. If it’s what I recommend for my family, it’s what I recommend for yours.”

Dr. Tanya McClendon, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Red Oak

Dr. Tanya McClendon is a native of Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Parker University College of Chiropractic. Dr. Tanya has extensive training from the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA). Dr. Tanya looks forward to helping families reach their optimum health through teaching about chiropractic.

Prior to her Chiropractic studies, Dr. Tanya graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Military Science. Upon graduation, she commissioned in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. During her service, she deployed twice as apart of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her duty stations included Fort Hood, Texas and Yongsan, South Korea. She was honorably discharged as a Captain.

She practiced in Washington for 2 years before returning home to the Dallas area. She is often described as quiet initially, outgoing, passionate, compassionate, patient, dependable and open-minded. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, learning and watching basketball.

Dr. Ryan Vale, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Red Oak

Dr. Ryan grew up in South Texas and moved to DFW when pursuing his career in Chiropractic. It was during school when he met his wife. Dr. Ryan and his wife decided to settle in the DFW area and currently have two young boys.

Dr. Ryan attended Texas A&M University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. It was during these years of study, Dr. Ryan found Chiropractic Care in order to help with his Migraines which he suffered from on a regular basis. He realized he wanted to share his passion of Chiropractic in order to also bring this healing potential to others. He obtained his Chiropractic Degree in 2016 from Parker University with a certification in Applied Kinesiology as well as a certification in Wellness Consulting in order to continue his passion for Sports Therapy.

When not practicing, Dr. Ryan enjoys working out, outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, exploring, and spending time with friends, family, and most of all, his wife and kids.
