Dr. Mark Nicosia was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX. After he graduated from Parker University in Dallas, Dr. Nicosia practiced chiropractic for 20 years in Corpus Christi. He decided to pursue a chiropractic career at the age of 13. This decision came about after his father was injured and was told that he would not recover without surgery. His father chose chiropractic treatment instead and is still walking today. Dr Nicosia hopes that he can continue to impact lives just as his father's life was impacted. Dr. Nicosia and his wife of 17 years have two daughters. Much of his time spent with family and friends revolves around shooting sports and their church activities.
Dr. Sean McKnight studied at the University of Hartford and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2010. He then went on to New York Chiropractic College and graduated in 2012. He decided to pursue a career in chiropractic care after he was exposed to it in high school. “Seeing firsthand, an individual have the ability to improve a person’s state of being just by touch was inspiring.” - Dr. McKnight He says the best things about chiropractic work are affecting people’s lives in a positive manner and getting to work with his hands. After practicing chiropractic in New York City for a while, Dr. McKnight joined the Joint team in 2015. “I enjoy working the Bandera office because of the diversity of patients that I have the pleasure of working with.” -Dr. McKnight
In his spare time, Dr. McKnight likes cooking, baking, and working on cars. The one thing he has to keep in his fridge is garlic or tomatoes. “Nearly everything I cook has either garlic or tomatoes in it, whether it’s just for flavor, or the healthy aspects.” -Dr. McKnight If he could throw the perfect dinner party, his guests would include, Leonardo Da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, Elon Musk, and Benjamin Franklin. “All of these people were eccentric geniuses, and the conversation that would ensue would be entertaining and enlightening, especially taking into account the difference in time periods.” - Dr. McKnight
