How About A Cheap Way To Improve Health?

By Tom Herrin

Even though it may not seem like it to you, everything that improves health does not have to mean major expense.  There are certainly plenty of ways to spend money in order to do things for health.  There are all kinds of diets and exercise programs.  People can join classes, clubs, and fitness centers, many of which are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  They are great places for those who choose them.  For those who simply want to find something that can make a difference with the least amount of cost and effort, they can just begin with a smile.  It can all grow from there.

Look Younger And More Attractive

People who smile are able to lift their faces naturally.  Studies have shown that it may make them appear as much as three years younger.  There is also a natural attraction to those who smile.  They seem more open and trustworthy.  Those who smile seem more approachable and welcoming.  Who doesn’t find someone who smiles more likeable?  They may often find themselves included in more social groups because people seem drawn to them.

Those Who Smile May Be More Productive

There is no secret that those who whistle while they work may get more done, just like those dwarves in Snow White. When people smile, they may lift their own moods.  This can make work seem more enjoyable and easier to accomplish.  Those who smile can make others feel better about themselves and create an environment that is more conducive to productivity.  This is a plus in any workplace.

Smiling May Improve Your Health In General

When you smile, you can reduce stress and lower your heart rate.  Smiling can also help to release endorphins that can act as painkillers by improving overall mood.  Since it relaxes the body, it can help enable it to react to those things that can cause illness.  Boosting immunities can be another worthwhile reason to smile.  One study has even shown that those who smile more may increase their longevity by as much as seven years. That's one year for each dwarf who whistles while he works! With no cost and little effort required, get out there are start smiling.  It may improve your standing with friends, family, and other associates.  You may find it to be a life-changing habit that can benefit your overall health and emotional well being.
