Meet The Doctors
Dr. Eric Gebhart joined The Joint in 2014 as the Clinic Director for our Spring Town Center location. He received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in 1990 after earning a Bachelor of Health Science degree from Brenau University in Georgia, 1986.
Before joining The Joint, Dr. Gebhart served a critical role in Memorial Hermann's Executive Health Program. Prior to that, he had two successful private practices in Southwest Houston as well as taught anatomy and massage therapy. He also worked for the State of Texas as a Designated Level 2 doctor performing impairment exams. His decades of experience and constant education make it easy for him to tailor individualized care plans specific to each patient's needs.
He has had almost 30 years serving patients of all ages and health throughout the Houston region. This included the Houston Aeros professional ice hockey team. Doing so only furthered galvanized his belief that if professional athletes can trust chiropractic with their bodies and well-being, so could everyone else. Dr. Gebhart himself did professional cycling and bodybuilding back in the day as well as was a personal trainer for individuals and athletes of all ages and skill levels. During the late 80s, way back in the day, Dr. Gebhart actually worked on a project with Jinny Miller that she then later turned into Step Reebok.
Dr. Gebhart says, "I love how amazing the human body works and how chiropractic allows my passion for biomechanics, quantum physics and my faith to come together as I work on each person." He has also said how much he has grown to love his chiropractic friends and family at Spring Town Center over the past 6 years and looks forward to helping many more in the years to come.
In Case You Didn't Know...
If given the opportunity, Dr. Gebhart would like to share a meal with 4 special people that have inspired him: Jesus Christ, Gautama Buddha, Albert Einstein and Dr. Suess himself, Theodor Geisel.
One of Dr. Gebhart's greatest adventures, and maybe the coolest one of all, was doing mission work in the Ukraine with other doctors and ministers. It was an honor and very inspirational as well as educational to be a part of that very prestigious group. Something that he will never forget. Dr. Gebhart is pleased that red wine and dark chocolate have been found to be healthy because he loves the stuff. He and his wife, Trish, love their beach vacations and just traveling in general. They have a big wish list on places they still want to visit. When staying here locally, they enjoy being around the house , taking drives to local places all around Texas in search of the best barbeque. They also enjoy spending time with their two labradoodles, Mollie and Harley, who consider themselves humans, trapped in dogs' bodies.
As Dr. Suess himself said, "Oh, the places you'll go and the things that you'll see."
Dr. Geronimo Castillo joined The Joint in October 2023 where he has been an Associate Doctor at our Spring and Tomball locations. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College in 2022 after earning his Bachelors in Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2018.
Prior to joining The Joint Chiropractic, Dr. Castillo has previously practiced in the Houston surrounding areas.
Dr. Castillo, a passionate chiropractor, finds joy in creating smiles through lasting improvements in his patients' lives. With a commitment to holistic well-being, he skillfully combines expertise and empathy to enhance overall health and wellness.
According to Dr. Castillo, he had discovered the healing art of chiropractic care after a life-changing experience. Following a car accident that left him grappling with persistent neck pain, Dr. Castillo sought relief from a chiropractor. The transformative impact of chiropractic care on his own well-being ignited a passion within him to share this healing modality with others.
Driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact, he dedicates himself to the art of chiropractic care, leaving a trail of satisfied patients on their journey to wellness. Dr. MaKenzie Jones joined The Joint in 2023 where she is currently an Associate Doctor at our Tomball and Vintage Park Locations. She earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College in 2020 after attending the University of Louisiana Lafayette for her Bachelor's where she majored in Exercise Science.
Prior to working at The Joint, Dr. Jones has previously worked in the Houston surrounding areas.
Dr. Jones is a highly skilled and compassionate doctor of chiropractic, dedicated to promoting overall wellness and restoring health to her patients. “My goal is to keep your whole body running smoothly. The body’s health depends in one way or another on your spinal health, regular visits to your chiropractor ensures your body stays in top condition.” Her empathetic nature and excellent communication skills create a welcoming environment for all her patients, making them feel at ease during their visits.
According to Dr. Jones, “Being a chiropractor is a unique opportunity for me to provide non-invasive treatments that can relieve pain. Seeing my patients experience relief and witnessing their progress and transformation is incredibly rewarding.” With a deep rooted passion for healthcare and a commitment to holistic well-being, she has become a prominent figure in the field of chiropractic medicine.
