After that, follow-up visits are usually just five to 10 minutes. Because our doctors focus on the specific adjustments your body needs at each visit, care can be streamlined without losing its effectiveness.     I was a walk in and in terrible pain. I appreciate the receptionist very much. We are not at our best when in pain and she was kind and patient with me. My chiropractor, Dr. Mark, explained why I was so uncomfortable, he listened to my concerns and when I left I felt better than when I arrived. He has a great bedside manner and I felt safe under his care. Dr. Mark suggested I ice areas of pain and by following his instructions, I am doing well. I plan to come back for a few more visits, which he suggested and which, given my past experience with back and neck issues, are reasonable and fair. Dr. Mark works Monday through Thursday. I highly recommend him.

    I love going to The Joint in Sandy. I’ve taken my kids here quite a few times when they fall or get hurt. They don’t try to upsell you on anything because there is nothing to upsell you on. If you feel like chiropractors are always trying to sell you expensive extra treatments or supplements, try here. The plan is so cheap that even if you only go twice a month, it’s still cheaper than a private practice chiropractor. They do the same techniques that my other chiropractors did and spend the same amount of time for a fraction of the price. They spend about 5-10 minutes with each patient and I’ve never had to wait for longer than 30 minutes. If you go after 4:00, the wait is usually longer since (I’m assuming) that’s when most people stop by after work. In the morning, there is often no wait, and we just go right back to the doc. The doctors have a lot of great techniques that they’ve used on me and my kids. They’ve adjusted my radial head in my arm – that I didn’t even know was out until they checked it for me. They’ve also adjusted my feet/ankles and got rid of my plantar fasciitis when it flared back up. My son plays basketball on the high school team, so he’s always getting beat up. They’ve adjusted his shoulder that was partially out after getting elbowed hard, and they always adjust his ankle that gives him problems when he overtrains. I was able to put my account on hold for 3 months when I went to get specialist upper chiropractic care from another chiropractor. I couldn’t wait to go back because I love The Joint’s laid-back atmosphere and that the doctors remember us and ask us about our life. The best thing (for me) about going here is that I don’t need an appointment. As a person who suffers from chronic migraines, I never know how I’m going to feel on a particular day. Somedays I can’t leave the house. That’s stressful when you have an appointment that has a cancellation fee. Also, I love being able to walk in and be adjusted whenever they are open. At other places, I’ll call in pain, and they will say the doctor can see me next week on Tuesday, or whatever. Sometimes I need care NOW. I love being able to be adjusted whenever I feel like it because it really helps lessen the intensity of my migraines and sometimes gets rid of them completely. I also love that any extra adjustments are only $10 after you've used up the 4/month on the plan. An option that we've used many times.

    The doctors at this location are quacks! All they do is manipulate your skeletal structure to make a lot of noise thinking they're actually helping you.. you go in for your appointment in and out in roughly 10 minutes with no actual relief.. I now go to collard chiropractic in Sandy where there's an actual doctor he spends 10-15 minutes with an overall physical talks to you about your aches and pains.. then another 20 to 30 minutes of acupuncture and then 15 minutes on a very effective massage table.. I would recommend this chiropractic center over the joint if you're really looking for a doctor that helps with your particular medical needs..

    The Joint is where it’s at!!! I got injured strength training and my sports medicine doc told me to see a Chiro. Was super skeptical from past experiences but gave this place a shot. A TON of value, super affordable, and very effective. I was able to keep working out and got better quickly with pain relief right away. The staff here is all great, wait times are short, and it’s a fantastic concept. Would recommend 10/10

    I always love going to The Joint! They are very good at what they do. I can tell them where I am tight or sore and they never fail to correct it.     I have been going to see Dr Hudson for 8 years now. He is amazing! Going to The Joint has made a world of difference with my back pain and mobility. He is very professional, knowledgeable and has helped me over the years with many back related questions and tips for having a healthy back. He has shown me stretching exercises to do to help my back and types of pillows that would be good for me. The receptionist Dana It’s very on top of it and always happy and friendly, especially to my 89 year old mother, who has been going there longer than I have! My mom uses a walker and if I am not around, Dana always makes sure that she helps her out to the car. We have loved our experience at The Joint and am so glad there is an affordable option to take care of my back.

    I've been anxious about my lower back pain. Yesterday I went in for the second time in awhile and the chiropractor asked what I did for a living to try and understand why my back was so tight.     I've gone to several Chiropractors over my 71 years. A couple have been okay. Most did little or nothing for me. I've come to believe that there is talent and innate or instinctive ability that comes with the profession. Some have it; most don't. Dr. Hudson has legitimately helped me more than any other Chiropractor I have ever worked with. Maybe that's why my relationship with him has lasted for several years now.     I have been with The Joint for years! Their location is great, easy to just pop in when I need. The staff is always happy and pleasant.     First off, I have not been going to chiropractors for many years because I ended up having three back surgeries, including a fusion with a cage. I still need another two fusions. I have been having severe headaches, and decided to give this business a try to work on my neck only. After talking to the doctor, he said he could use the activator method which I was familiar with from a long time ago. After having my neck worked on a couple of times, it did help the severity of my symptoms. Where things went south was my visit this past weekend. I assumed the doctor recognized me and was familiar with my situation. He started pushing on my back really hard and I was getting nervous. Then out of nowhere he tries the drop table in which I shouted no, I am fused. His response was that my paperwork wasn’t showing up on his computer. First off, if you don’t recognize the patient, and you don’t see the paperwork, ask questions. DONT just move on ahead without taking the time to figure things out. This is careless and reckless in every way. With my situation, I could get really messed up and it could push me into surgery that much quicker. Needless to say, I will never go back. Not only that, but this place doesn’t have any of the things that a normal chiropractic office has like an x-ray machine, heat, and anything along those lines. They just want you in and out in a few minutes. The Joint is the Wal-Mart of chiropractic!!

    Dr. Hudson and Dr. Cope are both incredible chiropractors! They are friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and caring! Dr. Cope is relatively new to the team but fits quite well. It feels like I've been seeing Dr. Hudson forever but it's probably closer to 5 years. He has helped me with plantar fasciitis and shoulder mobility as well as my typical back, hip, and neck conditions. The ladies at the front end, Sierra and Dana, are also quite incredible. They make you feel welcome the second you walk in the door and also when you leave. They provide an inviting and comfortable atmosphere in the waiting room and are very appreciated! In summary, I have had many years of wonderful experiences with this team and I fully intend to have many more years with them to come!

    I heard about The Joint from my sister a year ago, but was hesitant to go, as I had a bad experience with a collision chiropractic specialists a few years back. The reason for my visit to The Joint was, I woke up one morning and could barely turn my head to drive. Obviously I needed help. So, I decided to see what The Joint was about. I walked in and filled out some health information, why I was there, what is hurting, all the legal jargon of things.They then called me back to Chiropractor Dr. Cope, who walked me through my pain, assessed where he could help and explained how The Joint works. I thought this was going to be well over $3,000 and they would do expensive X-Rays and all of that. Nope. They use a particular technique that allows the body to adjust itself over time with multiple sessions, allowing you to recover and get back to a healthier you! I was stoked! I liked the vibe and best of all I only paid half of what I expected for a month's visit! While they have different plans and pricing, they taylor it around your pain; when, how often and then the cost. So it's not like you're going because they want to milk you out of money, you're going because they genuinely want to help. I would recommend this place 1000%!!! The staff and chiropractors are respectful, kind and sincere. I'm also going to share that the vibe is LGBT friendly ? Which is a plus in my book. While I'm not fully 100% better, I'm only at week 2 of my recovery and know that it just takes time, as the body needs time to heal and then re-adjust. Thanks guys for a great experience! ??     As a whole my experience with the Joint has been just amazing. I wasn't expecting to get so much out of these intermittent visits to get readjusted and then coming here asap after certain injuries, but it has really helped me to feel safe and sound with my work as an arborist. The service and way they treat customers has also been outstanding at each of the 5 locations I have visited. In particular Sierra has been a ton of help whenever I have had any questions and Dr. Hudson and Dr. Bailey have really stood out to me for how open they are and the constant advice that they gave to help me stay in good condition.     Dr. Hudson changed my life 6 years ago and continues to still. I got a concussion my junior year of high school basketball and was out for a month. Someone suggested I go to a chiropractor. Right after I got adjusted I felt so much better and was able to return to playing basketball within a week. The weeks I don’t go to get adjusted I feel stiff, in pain, and achy.     Selfishly, I'm hesitant to write this review. I don't want this location to get too busy. It's not right now. Dr. Moultrie is beyond exceptional. He is kind. He listens. He remembers issues you are experiencing and has exercises, stretches, and ideas for relief/recovery. He doesn't just do the same routine for each person that comes through. He tailors his care to you personally. The support staff is also super helpful, and they follow up with you! I'm so pleased.

    The absolute WORST I went as soon as they opened up as a brand new patient, I spent forever filling out the forms and waited half an hour, and a new patient walks right in, scans the barcode and gets treated. I will never be returning to this location, and I think it is absolutely rude, and if you’re reading this go anywhere else but here. So rude and so unproffesional.     I started coming here towards the end of December after all the holiday madness when I was at my most pain in my back.     I’ve been seeing Dr Hudson for the last 8 Years. After having a baby my lower back was in horrible pain. I tried many things to help with it and nothing was working.     I had a stiff neck/back pain that persisted for over 2 weeks, and after being skeptical of chiropractors, finally gave The Joint a first try out of sheer desperation. It was wild the amount of relief I experienced. Was it an immediate fix-all? No, and it's not supposed to be. Like working out, it takes some regular input to see long-term results. Did it provide immediate relief and a significant reduction in my pain though? SURE DID. The team was also SO kind, friendly, wonderfully understanding and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. My only advice: This is a subscription-model business. Aka, their revenue is made primarily from repeat business each month. So there's some pressure to sign up for a membership. But, if you don't want to do that, don't! It's your body and your health. Do what's right for you, membership or not.

    I went to the Joint on the 05/19/2023 at 3:45PM. The receptionist was full of sunshine beams and magic, and she was training a new receptionist who was beautifully eager to help me out. They were fantastic! Then I met my chiropractor, Rob. Such a friendly, comfortable guy. I had no hesitations to move the way he needed me to, and I felt so much relief so quickly. I can't wait to go back and see these wonderful faces again! 10/10 would recommend!

    Dr Hudson is amazing. I love his staff, the front desk girls are always super friendly. I learned I do better getting anterior adjustments. Not all Dr are capable of this type of adjustment. I don't get much movement otherwise. They're thorough throughout the entire appointment. Some days I don't need that much attention, other days I need more. They work accordingly.

    The Joint is a Godsend and so is Dr. Hudson!! He is the superhero of chiropractors. He is very personable. He greets all of his clients with care and remembers not only those aches and pains but personal stories. AND…he knows what he is doing! I always tell him thanks for putting Humpty Dumpty back together again when I leave. The Joint is also an AWESOME deal. One low monthly payments for 4 visits!     Review is for The Joint in Sandy Utah. Outstanding! I'm am always happily greeted By Dana or Sierra! These two ladies make the entrance and lobby feel very positive and I love taking a moment to chat with them when their not busy. I usually see Dr. Hudson or Dr. Matson. Though they are quick to get me done I don't feel like I'm being rushed out for the next person. There are times where I need a little more attention to get me right and they do a great job in making sure they feel I'm were I should be before leaving. Great personalities and if time permits great to chat with! I have used a few other Dr.'s and I have been well taken care of by them also! The location is very clean and has an un intimating atmosphere! Restrooms are always clean and water is available! I have been going to The Joint for 2 and half years and it has made a huge difference for my athletics and life in general now in my mid 50's. I can honestly say that the services have given me the ability to do my activities at a high level still and now it looks like I will do them for many more years than I thought I would before I started coming to The Joint! Last Summer I was in Carlsbad California for 3 weeks and there was a location 5 min. from where I was staying. I went twice without any issues. My information was in the system and the Two Dr.'s I saw there were also out standing! With locations every were you don't need to worry about missing your normal visits, or if you need an alignment badly. Lastly they have several payment and visit plans. They are very affordable! Give them a try, you have nothing to lose except your pain and discomfort! Thank you!

    I love going to The Joint in Sandy. I’ve taken my kids here quite a few times when they fall or get hurt. They don’t try to upsell you on anything because there is nothing to upsell you on. If you feel like chiropractors are always trying to sell you expensive extra treatments or supplements, try here. The plan is so cheap that even if you only go twice a month, it’s still cheaper than a private practice chiropractor. They do the same techniques that my other chiropractors did and spend the same amount of time for a fraction of the price. They spend about 5-10 minutes with each patient and I’ve never had to wait for longer than 30 minutes. If you go after 4:00, the wait is usually longer since (I’m assuming) that’s when most people stop by after work. In the morning, there is often no wait, and we just go right back to the doc. The doctors have a lot of great techniques that they’ve used on me and my kids. They’ve adjusted my radial head in my arm – that I didn’t even know was out until they checked it for me. They’ve also adjusted my feet/ankles and got rid of my plantar fasciitis when it flared back up. My son plays basketball on the high school team, so he’s always getting beat up. They’ve adjusted his shoulder that was partially out after getting elbowed hard, and they always adjust his ankle that gives him problems when he overtrains. I was able to put my account on hold for 3 months when I went to get specialist upper chiropractic care from another chiropractor. I couldn’t wait to go back because I love The Joint’s laid-back atmosphere and that the doctors remember us and ask us about our life. The best thing (for me) about going here is that I don’t need an appointment. As a person who suffers from chronic migraines, I never know how I’m going to feel on a particular day. Somedays I can’t leave the house. That’s stressful when you have an appointment that has a cancellation fee. Also, I love being able to walk in and be adjusted whenever they are open. At other places, I’ll call in pain, and they will say the doctor can see me next week on Tuesday, or whatever. Sometimes I need care NOW. I love being able to be adjusted whenever I feel like it because it really helps lessen the intensity of my migraines and sometimes gets rid of them completely. I also love that any extra adjustments are only $10 after you've used up the 4/month on the plan. An option that we've used many times.

    Dr Hudson is the best, and I’ve been a patient of his since 2016. Cool, down to earth guy, and always makes you feel very comfortable. I deal with lower back/sacral issues, and initially had pretty bad sciatica due to sloppy weightlifting technique and my own negligence. Over time and with routine adjustments, the sciatica is gone. His staff is awesome - always friendly/professional. Edit *** 09/29/25 I was involved in a motorcycle accident in June of 2024. Naturally, my back didn’t love that. I’ve had bouts of severe pain and immobility since the accident and Dr Hudson has been a life saver. With routine adjustments, I’ve seen much improvement. It’s easy to take something as simple as walking properly for granted. Thanks to his knowledge and care, I’m able to move around much better.

    I've been going to The Joint for over 3 years. Typically every Friday or Saturday morning. This is the best part of my week. Sierra or Sydney at the desk, always cheerfully greet you and help check you in. The Chiropractors are great. Over the years I've been adjusted by a number of Chiropractors and have always walked away feeling 110%. Every Chiropractor has their own style and method but regardless each time my body feels great.     I feel these chiropractors can help with simple movements but are under too much of a time constraint to fully help. I've gone in for over 5 visits for sciatica and my toes are still numb. The Joint can get a few pops out of my back but they don't take the time to help me stretch my nerves back into place. If you have limited time and have a rib dislocation, The Joint will work. But if your condition requires more time find a dedicated doctor.

    Such a great experience. My son was suffering from neck pain and we had gone to a chiropractor that just looked at him and told him it was his posture and gave him some exercises to do. The doctors at The Joint, really looked at him, listened to his issues and are helping him relieve his neck pain.     The chiropractors are hit and miss and are not consistent in what they tell you. The first one I left feeling better. And with meaningful instructions the second one I left with my eyes watering because my back has never hurt so bad. And he told me everything the first guy said was wrong.     I came here for chronic neck pain that has persisted for months. The Dr. performed on me, and less than two days later, I ended up in the ER for severe neck pain. Turns out, I had a severe neck strain that hadn't healed entirely, and the chiropractor's manipulations hyperextended my injured muscle. There are no X-rays. No way to actually tell if what he's saying is a correct diagnosis. He just feels around and supposedly knows what he's doing. He thought the swelling and lack of motion was a disc problem, but he should have immediately sent me to the doctor when he realized it was out of expertise. Not a disc problem, but a muscle problem. Also, don't sign anything! Their monthly $70 plan will hook you in with no way out. It's like a horrible gym membership you can't get out of. They will tell you that you have to sign and pay after your first appointment, but please just leave after you've paid for what you were seen for. They will keep insisting that you pay then and there. I got out of it thankfully, and I haven't gone back since my initial appointment. It's a waste of your time and money. (To respond to this response, look up Tristen Squires. I visited the Sandy location a couple of weeks ago. I can assure you, I've been here. It's not uncommon to use a first and middle name for an account.)

    The Dr. failed to realize the extent of my injury and I was in extreme pain for weeks after. I actually liked the Dr, that happens, I know going in I’m being treated with out actually knowing the extent of my spinal injury.(I later saw an MD and now know! Do that first.)     I begun having frequent migraines a few months ago and because my medical insurance lacked chiropractic care, I was hesitant to go. It was suggested that I go to The Joint. I have been to 4 locations for adjustments and find that the best care that I have received by far is when I go to the Sandy location and see Dr. Hudson. Amazing talent and wonderful bedside manner.     I was really nervous the first time I got adjusted because I didn’t know what to expect. The doctor here listened to me and put my mind at ease. He explained to me exactly what was going on through the whole process. Also, when I expressed my concerns about being college student and how being charged for an addition month would affect me.     Dr Hudson is the best Chiropractor I have ever used. He is a master manipulator when it comes to spinal alignment, be it the neck, upper back or lower back.     UPDATE: Still love The Joint Sandy/Dr. Hudson. I can pop in there whenever I find convenient, and if I find myself in a time crunch and can’t stay, I just head over the the Draper location! Thanks Dr. Hudson! Dr. Hudson is the main doctor there, he usually takes a lunch around 2 to 3, so be aware of that when you visit them. He LISTENS to his patients!! He does so well with my requests and listens to my pain complaints, no matter how trivial they may be. He's gentle yet effective in his adjustments, there is a reason he has so many patients!     They stole my money. These people are dishonest and are just looking for ways to get your money for doing nothing. I was never treated like I mattered so the care was ineffective and sub-standard to begin with. I signed up for a 6 month plan. It auto-renewed even though I didn't even finish out the visits on the plan. So when I caught that auto-renewal, they wouldn't cancel unless I hand-delivered a form to them. So I did exactly that. But months later I see they're still withdrawing money from my account. They refuse to refund any of the money they took from me for a YEAR without ever seeing me as a patient that entire time. They claim that I never gave them the cancellation form. Isn't that convenient for them? To take hundreds of dollars from someone for doing absolutely nothing and then to be so dishonest, or at the very least cowardly, that they won't admit their mistake is so shocking and disheartening. Terrible people. Do not seek help here. You won't find anything but trouble.

    One word: UNCONSCIONABLE. I severely injured my back on March 28th 2017, attempting to plant a tree. I was in excruciating pain. I wasn't able to stand up straight and could hardly breathe. I had my ride take me to the closest chiropractor in the area. That was "The Joint" in Sandy. I did this because I do not go to medical doctors for spinal issues. It has been my experience with chiropractic care, as well as any other medical care, that if you are in an elevated state of pain, you pretty much get right in to be treated. Sounds about right doesn't it? Not so at "The Joint". I literally waddled in, having to hold my body up propped on my knees. This was about 1:50 p.m. I asked if I could be seen. The young woman behind the counter told me that the "Doctor" was heading to lunch in ten minutes and that I could come back at 3:00p.m. if I wanted. I told her that I needed attention right away. At this time, I could hear the doctor in the back talking to someone else. She then told me that there was NO WAY to reschedule the Doctors lunches. I left immediately. I had to get some kind of treatment right away. Need I say more? What happened to the Hippocratic oath? If this does not differ your interest, then good luck. By the way, I had my ride drive miles away to see my chiropractor of 14 years. He informed me that I sprained my back. I have three words for "The Joint". SHAME ON YOU. Reply: What a lame bunch of bs from "the owner". I posted this review 5 years ago, and it took them this long to reply?! Again, it's unconscionable. Their response is just gross. If I had the money, I would sue this company into the ground. There is no semblance of the hippocratic oathe at this establishment. This is a fast food style chiropractic franchise that is clearly only in it for the money.

    I had a mediocre experience, at best. I liked the Dr. who worked on me, but he lacked bedside manner. He began to exam me, and did not warn me or ask me to exhale before he began popping my back. I have received a lot of chiropractic care in the past; I feel I know what to expect from an appointment with an adept chiropractor. I may return once more to see if he was having an off day.     I would definitely recommend The Joint! Dr. Paul Davis is genuinely interested in seeing improvement in each of his patients! He is extremely knowledgeable with his chiropractic skills is so kind and friendly. My situation was very difficult as I came to the clinic with a bad fall from a basketball incident. My shoulder was out of place and my muscles were severely damaged around my shoulder where I could not lift my arm in any direction. After 6 visits I have made such a significant improvement! Many people consulted me and suggested that surgery would by my only alternative to regain motion in my arm and shoulder. Dr. Davis specializes in muscles and he has method that is very safe and effective! Thanks to Dr. Davis I can now lift my arm and have almost full range of motion. My husband and son also come to the clinic and have worked with both Dr. Hudson and Dr. Davis. They have also seen very positive results and our family has complete confidence in these doctors and in this clinic...it is very reasonably priced and just a great clinic! Also, there are 2 doctors so the wait time is great...I have waited 5 minutes at the most.

    I've really enjoyed going to the Joint and having Dr. Davis work on my frozen shoulder with his Muscle Integration Technique. I've taken or referred many friends there now and they've all had him do this technique and have been happy about the results.     This is a pretty good place. I love being able to walk in whenever, although during their busy times you have to wait a while. Whenever I have extra concerns or questions, they take extra time with me to address every single thing on my mind. I never feel rushed. I feel very well taken care of when I'm there. Both doctors are really good, but they have two very different approaches, so you can pick and choose based on what kind of care you like. I have a monthly membership, so I see them quite often!     For over two years I had suffered from neck and shoulder pain as well as server weakness from an injury while training in mixed martial arts. I was unable to lift my arm above my head some days, and couldn't turn my head on others. I tried alot of different avaenues and most were a band aid at best. Not being able to work out and train as well as teach what I loved (martial arts) was wearing on me. I went into the Joint on referal and after the first session with Dr. Davis I knew I was on good path. Roughly 2 months later I was pain free with strength returning both in my shoulder and arm as well as full mobility back in my neck. I've done my martial arts, lifted, hiked and rock climded all sense then with no set back. I can't express or describe the freedom I feel again with not having to worry about making my injury worse or living with pain. The personal care I received from Dr. Davis was amazing and fully credit him with where I am now. I highly recommend The Joint for these reasons, every session Dr. Davis made it known that he was concerned and focused on making it so I could resume "living my life".     Apparently, they can afford to turn down patients. I went in 5 minutes before they close and they turned me away. The doctor said that he didn't have time for me. I find this extremely frustrating because in any other business, if you walk in the door before it closes, you will be taken care of; like a restaurant for example. I desperately need a back adjustment and so, with tomorrow being a holiday, I will have to wait two days to be seen by a (different ) chiropractor and my plans for the next few days off are ruined.     The weekend doctor, Dr. Tripp, does muscle work which has been very helpful to my migraines and neck pain. The weekday doctor, Dr. Hudson, knows what he's doing!
