Meet The Doctors

Dr. Duane Hudson, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Sandy

Dr. Duane C. Hudson, D.C., was born and raised in Everett, Washington.

He attended Utah Valley University, and earned a degree in Biology, later he attended Life Chiropractic College, and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2004.

Upon receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Hudson started practicing family chiropractic in Utah learning to serve all types of people and cases, including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of many different techniques. He’s proficient in Activator technique, Thompson Drop, Toggle/Upper Cervical, Diversified & Full manual techniques, and is skilled in finding the best technique for each individual patient. Dr. Hudson utilizes the Webster Technique and can safely and effectively help all women during their pregnancies. He has been involved in family chiropractic for more than 15 years, and has been The Joint’s chiropractor in Sandy since April 2012.

Dr. Hudson says the best thing about being a chiropractor is being able to help others: “The best thing about being in the chiropractic profession is having the ability to give people relief and effect positive changes in their everyday lives.”

In his spare time, he enjoys playing music on his guitar and piano, basketball and a good game of flag football. Dr. Hudson has completed and finished two Trifecta - Spartan Races.

In Case You Didn’t Know:

Dr. Hudson is a twin. Many of his patients have mistaken his brother to be him. So, if you think see Dr. Hudson around town, it might just be his twin brother.

Dr. Mark Radandt, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Sandy

Dr. Mark Radandt was born in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Wisconsin. He married his high school sweetheart in 1974, and they have six children, eighteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. A work injury led Dr. Mark to seek chiropractic care rather than have back surgery. Thus began Dr. Mark’s love for chiropractic! Almost thirty- six years ago he graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and has since practiced chiropractic in Colorado, Wisconsin and Utah. Dr. Mark has adjusted thousands of patients since returning to Utah in 1997.

For the last seventeen years, Dr. Mark has been teaching Anatomy and Human Biology at Salt Lake Community College, allowing him to share his love for the human body with his students.

Thomas Edison said, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.“ and Dr. Mark agrees wholeheartedly and his philosophy of chiropractic follows The Joint’s conviction of routine chiropractic care coupled with eating well, moving well, and thinking well as the foundations of true wellness. Dr. Mark welcomes this new adventure of offering convenient and affordable chiropractic care to the patients in the Sandy/Draper area.

Dr. Jon George, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Sandy

Dr. Jon George, D.C., joined The Joint in May 2019, after graduating from Palmer Chiropractic College in Port Orange, Florida. While earning his doctorate, he also served the community at a Behavioral Health Outreach Clinic and participated in Sports Council. Prior to receiving his D.C., he earned his Bachelors in 2008 at CSU Stanislaus in California, and his Masters in 2014 at Fort Hays State University in Kansas, with degrees in Physical Education and Kinesiology.

The biomechanics of the human body have always been a point of fascination with Dr. Jon, and he has implemented his knowledge through personal training, coaching a range of athletes from collegiate to teenage, and now to evaluate his patients to ensure they receive proper care. In Dr. Jon’s opinion, the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is that he gets to serve the public and help others, affordably. “Before going to Chiropractic college, I was a patient at a cash-based chiropractic office (similar to The Joint), and just seeing how many people were able to receive care without ‘breaking the bank’ helped me realize that I could also give this same standard of care, not only to athletes, but to a variety of the population, without pushing them outside of their budgets. Wellness and maintenance care shouldn’t put people into debt.”

Dr. Jon was raised in Santa Maria, California, where he realized his love of surfing, running, long-boarding, and playing the guitar. Since moving to Utah, he also enjoys hiking and exploring the trails of the Wasatch Mountains with his wife, Caitlin. They are expecting their first child this June.

In Case You Didn’t Know

The one thing Dr. Jon must have in the fridge is Cholula hot sauce, because he likes his food spicy, and “it tastes good on everything.” His perfect dinner party would include the late Bradley Nowell of Sublime, his first cross-country coach, Frank Sharp, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Jesus. The coolest thing he’s ever done is jump out of an airplane. “It was exhilarating, and defies human instinct and logic.”
