Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dr. Tshamala migrated to the United States in 2001 and grew up in Maine, an experience that shaped his resilience, work ethic, and people-centered approach to care.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 2017, where he also developed a strong foundation in exercise physiology. Dr. Tshamala began his chiropractic career in Rochester, New York, and has since served patients in Sterling, Virginia, before joining The Joint Chiropractic full-time on January 27, 2026.

Dr. Tshamala believes the most rewarding part of being a chiropractor is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in his patients’ lives every day.
