I’ve been a patient for over a year and will probably be one until the day I die. To whom it may concern, I am requesting immediate cancellation and deletion of my data. I have previously contacted the office in order to cancel my service and remove my data. As you can see from my record, i have not used the service in a long time as i was under the assumption my previous request was handled appropriately. I recently learned that I was still being charged $20 a month due to my HSA declining multiple attempts at charging. Again, I have not used the service and do not plan on using it. Dr. Anthony Ward was the best! This was my first time ever seeing a chiropractor. He was Informative and made me feel at ease. I have a degenerative disc and I have been in pain since July of 2024. Dealing with sciatica pain. When he adjusted my body, it sounded like someone stepping on sticks! LOL I haven't felt this good in months. After seeing him I can bend and tie my shoes, I wasn't limping and I have NO PAIN!!! I gave up my mani/pedi fund, so I can go back 4plus times this month to see him. Great! Dr. Ward and the receptionist Zaren were great. Ive never seen a chiropractor and Dr. Ward only did what I was comfortable with and was super attentive. I’ve read through the reviews and the major complaints were you have to cancel in person. Of course! This business model cannot stay as cheap for everyone else, if it does not factor in people forgetting to come in and cancel. That’s how a lot of memberships function. Just my two sense.

Friendly and clean atmosphere with competent practitioners! My neck and shoulders felt immediate relief, but my long time problem area (lower back) needs more sessions to fully adjust. This was my first time going to a chiropractor like The Joint. Having gone to plenty of chiropractors before, I wasn’t sure how this kind of walk-in experience would be, but I was pleasantly surprised! I had a great first experience at The Joint and will be returning. This is a fantastic practice. They are very friendly, professional, and thorough. The facility is conveniently located, clean, and welcoming. The receptionist Ashley was very welcoming and helpful. I felt very comfortable with the doctor (Sunday hours) and hope she’s there when I return. She took time to learn about me and my history then provided an adjustment with follow up recommendations including home care to make sure my back is in the best shape possible. The walk-in option is great making it easy to be regular with getting adjustments. The hours including weekends are very accommodating.

I've come to this location off and on for years and the staff has always been excellent and attentive. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ward. Although all of my adjustments are always sufficient and provide relief, I'm 6'4 and 230 lbs so I always appreciate a deeper adjustment. I work from home and because of this I am very sedentary. I’ve been experiencing really bad back pains. After doing some research I came across Dr. Rod and decided to visit. Back for a second visit to The Joint Chiropractic. This time with the folks at BradLee Shopping Center in Alexandria, VA. Wow! The folks at The Joint do a wonderful job at getting me in for the adjustment(s)/movement(s) and then back out of the facility in a jiffy so that I may continue my day (or not). Today I was lucky to have been et by Ms. Jessica. Jessica was smiling and eager to help me with expedience! Ms. Jessica sent me back to work with Dr. Megan Cook; I was pleased to have Amber’s hands on me. Dr. Megan is good at helping to relax a patient and then swiftly but gently snap the bad right out of a situation. I know The Joint Chiropractic are in so many separate locations around the DMV Area that it puts a facility near all the places I already visit. There is one by my place of work; multiple options where I run my errands, and a couple are close to where I live. I can go up to Pennsylvania to visit my grandsons and have care while I am in her area, too. oh, my first visit I was so hopeful this would give me several relief, but after a few visits I discovered it did not and my doctor told me to discontinue it. Physical Therapy has really helped me if you sign a two month contract and decide you don’t want to go the second month you’re stuck. They will not refund it. It’s 90 bucks a month. I think it should be called the pirate joint.

Been here a few times and I am definitely keeping this monthly membership. Dragged myself into the joint’s Bradlee office last Sunday. I could hardly sit or stand for more than a few minutes. Dr. Armstrong had to literally turn me on the bed during my adjustment because I couldn’t. He was very transparent about how I was going to feel in the next 24-48 hours which totally prepared me to be ready for my second visit on Wednesday. I was really hurting but in a different way. Today, 8 days later, I am a totally different person. When I walked in and Zarin greeted me I actually smiled. Dr Armstrong did my adjustment and noticed I could actually turn on my own. Really unique concept. It’s nice not having to schedule an appointment and you can just walk in whenever and it takes 5 minutes. Definitely helps encourage you to go more often and have frequent adjustments that really do help. This is really useful if u don’t have insurance and need a quick fix. It’s not like an actually chiropractor place where they do dry needling and you have a whole consultation. If you have serious injuries that need to be looked after, please seek somewhere else. This place is good for weekly adjustments, a good crack and go. I appreciate the quick service! Different chiropractors have different techniques. Dr. Armstrong cracks my neck well enough that my headache disappears whereas dr. Jordan does a good overall adjustment.

I had paid for 2 months of treatment for my son on the 14th of February, 2021, so today we are exactly half way. With the treatments we received 3 free additional treatments. My son scanned his card and was denied treatment because another patients name showed up, not his name. Dr. Hunter was great, listened to my problems and took the time to actually adjust my hips and back. I wish i knew when he worked because I've had Forbes my other two visits and despite me telling him where it hurts with my hips and what I need which is what Hunter gave me), Forbes just does the same ten seconds on a drop table and he tells me it'll feel better in an hour with ice. First, Dr. Hunter and Dr. Strand are absolutely and deserve 5 Stars and beyond for helping me - I had fallen on ice several years ago and my hip area on my left side has been off ever since. But unfortunately I have had negative experiences at this location, but it's because of two other Doctors. I was hoping that the first incident was possibly just personalities not being compatible, but after the 2nd bad doctor during my last visit - leaving me to travel with my body out of line for several weeks - I am upset that I wasted money on my visit. The first incident was with Dr. Forbes. He actually was really good at adjusting my back, but couldn't for the life of him adjust my hips - I told him when I got up that my hip was still out of place. He had me lay down and looked at my legs saying that they were even. There is no way that they were even close to being even. He proceeds to start arguing with me about it, like actually arguing with me - I think that I know that my hip wasn't adjusted at all. I started to walk out and tell the woman at the front desk that I WASN'T going to pay for it when he came and said that he would adjust me. I am not sure who taught him to adjust the pelvic area, but wow did they do a bad job. I finally asked for Dr. Hunter to adjust me and within 10 seconds of me being on his table, I was all good to go. My last visit, which was just under a week ago, was with Dr. Rebecca Lee. Luckily when I arrived, there was no one there so she saw me immediately. She asked me what was wrong and I told her that my left hip was out of line and therefore everything else got out of place. When I was on the table, she kept telling me how my right side was out of place. (When my fell happened almost 20 years ago, my left hip socket had been so dislocated that I couldn't walk and my left foot was 3 inches higher than my right foot - it took several chiropractor visits just to get back to being semi normal.) She refused to work on my left side even though the only thing wrong with my right side was that it was compensating for my left side being out of place. I had to tell her FIVE times that it was my left side that had the issues. She didn't even adjust my left hip the way that it needed and you know who the other doctor working that day was? Dr. Forbes. I KNOW that HE wouldn't be able to adjust my hip. So here I am, far away from a Joint clinic and with my hip and body being completely out of line. I can't believe that I wasted money to have a doctor not listen to me and tell me that I was wrong when I wasn't. I gave NEVER had a doctor say that I was wrong about my own body when I KNOW that I am not. These two seriously need to learn how to listen to their patients. Please at least have one good doctor working here on the weekends.

I've been going to chiro for 10+ years, but typically paying $30-$40 per visit through insurance. However, it was adding up. After the winter months I would feel stiffness in my lower back and neck regularly. I'm glad I found The Joint for regular maintanance to get me out of pain. The only reason for not getting a "5" rating is that often times I arrive to a full waiting room and would have to wait an hour, so I'll just leave and comeback. Sometimes I won't be able to use all visits in the month due to availability. Perhaps an app for phone or online scheduling would help look in times that work and reduce waiting time.

There is a new chiropractor at The Joint in Bradlee Center. Her name is Dr. Strand, and she is fantastic! I have had chiropractic treatments at different locations for almost 30 years. Some doctors give everyone the same basic adjustments. Others, like Dr. Strand, focus on your individual case and fine-tune the treatment that is best for you. I just met Dr. Strand last week. She gave me an excellent adjustment in the very first visit- and mine is not a simple case! I highly recommend that you try The Joint at Bradlee for professional chiropractic care.
