Spring Workouts That Are More Fun Than Work

Spring is a great time for making positive changes to your life. Everything is growing and changing … why not change as well? One of the best ways to make a positive change in your life is by getting more movement. And with the warm breeze and ample sunshine, spring is an excellent time to make this happen! Of course, exercise is never easy. If you’re ready to get more movement, but you don’t want to break too big of a sweat just yet, take a look at these awesome spring workouts that are more fun than work.

Explore a Neighboring Town

This is almost a lost art, but it’s actually incredibly fun! Find a neighboring town with a good downtown area. Take a day, put on your walking shoes, and explore to your heart’s content. Visit local stores, museums, parks, and join in on community gatherings. You’ll probably be surprised at just how much fun this can be. Plus, all of the walking will be an incredible workout and the fresh air will do your entire body a lot of good. Pick a new town every week or two, and you’ve got a great way to improve your fitness this spring.

Pick-Up Sports With Friends

The spring brings people outdoors, and this can mean friendly pick-up games at the local park. Grab some friends and a ball and have a blast. This will likely work almost every muscle in your body, and you’ll be out of breath by the end.
