Dr. Carlos Planas is a chiropractor born and raised in Puerto Rico. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Inter American University of Puerto Rico, where he also educated students, faculty, and visitors on the importance of environmental conservation.

 

At the age of 19, after experiencing low and mid-back pain, Dr. Planas received his first chiropractic adjustment. This experience sparked his passion for chiropractic care and inspired him to pursue a career in the field.

 

He later moved to Florida to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. During his time there, he volunteered at outreach clinics in the Daytona Beach area, providing care to individuals struggling with substance abuse.

 

Dr. Planas is also a lifelong martial artist, having practiced Judo and previously trained in Aikido and Tae Kwon Do. His background in martial arts shaped his appreciation for movement, discipline, injury prevention, and overall physical wellness.
