Dr. Foster has been able to give back in many ways, from helping aspire younger generations by teaching Anatomy & Physiology at the local community college, to being involved and volunteering in various civic organizations that include: Rotary Club, Ruritan Club, local Chamber of Commerce, and being a Master Freemason.

As a sophomore football player at Jefferson Forest High School, Dr. Matthew Foster sustained injuries in the weight room. Unfortunately, he had trouble finding true relief. After going through specialty stretches, physical therapy, and pain medication, the pain was merely masked rather than relieved. Finally, he paid a visit to a Chiropractor in Bedford, VA. After seeing the miracle-like effect a chiropractic adjustment can have on a healing body, Matthew discovered his future career.

“The chiropractic profession, where you can heal people with your hands, is almost biblical.” Says Dr. Foster, “My uncle Paul Foster is a physician’s assistant and was a big role model for me growing up. I remember him always talking about how many people come through the office seeking pain medications.”

Knowing the toll that pain medication takes on your body, Dr. Foster set out on his mission to heal people with his hands.

Dr. Matthew Foster attended Liberty University for his undergraduate degree in Education and continued on to his chiropractic education at the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. Dr. Matthew Foster completed his preceptorship and began practicing as a licensed chiropractor at Tuck Chiropractic Clinic in Bedford, VA in the Fall of 2017.

Dr. Foster has had the opportunity to explore some of the alternative methods to administering chiropractic care beyond spinal manipulation, He is certified to administer dry needling, activator methods, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and Epley’s Technique for vertigo, along with many other techniques. Dr. Foster is excited to be in Fredericksburg, VA and enjoys the opportunity to work with patients at the Joint Chiropractic clinic locations. Staff was delightful; the persons performing procedures were nice people. The actual services hurt more than helped. I called and talked to receptionist and got their normal answers. However, I wanted to cancel and told them this was way too painful. They have now been charging my card many, many months over the 2 month requirement, which I wasn't told until I had already signed the papers in the beginning. So beware it is more of a money marketing scheme than not. Now have to drive over an hour to sign a form. At a real doctor's office or most other places, you make appointments, you are not required to sign a form to cancel. A true money scam situation. If it works for you great, but absolutely ridiculous, I have now lost over $700 for nothing absolutely nothing. Yes my fault I wasn't looking at that account often. They even stated after 2 months of no activity they would cancel account. Up front scam for making money.

Found out today that they will slide forms into what your sign and tell you it's all waver and liability documents. Called today to get a refund after I was charger out of the blue and was told about the agreement I knew nothing about signing. The young lady at the desk that was there my first visit did not tell me it was a recurring charge and that I'm locked in for 3 months. I also find out that they have to have the manager call me back to give me a refund and cancel the scam like subscription. This has to be the most dishonest and shady place to go. Save the headache and find somewhere else.

I had an initial consultation with Veronica Taylor, and after our discussion, she recommended that I see a chiropractor who specializes in decompression of the spine. This business is a joke and scam. I went there to do treatment for my lower back pain . My first visit I paid cash for obvious reasons that I didn’t want to pay with credit card. At my 2nd visit they didn’t accept my cash offer and asked me to pay with credit card and signed me up for monthly plan of 89$ against my will . Even after telling them I don’t want to sign up for monthly plan and I will see after my first the first month . Every time I visited it seemed joke to me every visit took no more than 5 minutes. At the beginning of the 2nd month without my knowledge and permission they charged me for the monthly plan that I dint want to sign up. After I found out that I was charged I went to the office and told them I didn’t want to sign up for the monthly plan and I want my refund they refused to pay me back my money. If you love your hard earned money please don’t do business with them they are just scam and will take your money without providing the service and if you ask for your money back they will not pay you back your own money.

I am one of those people who never write reviews….mainly because nobody takes the time to read them. But yesterday I felt compelled to actually take the time to write an honest review even if just 1 person benefits from it. I walked in here on a whim! Completely random and unplanned but I had kept hearing about JC and since I was already in discomfort I figured why not. Registering was so easy and simple there really is nothing left to add about it. EASY! SIMPLE! That’s it folks. Not only did Dr. K. take the time to see me as a person and not a file. He actually explained why I was in constant pain in a way that I understood. No “dr talk” just real life understanding that as we get older, our bodies break down and why and what I can do to make the process easier on myself. I walked in literally not able to put my chin to my chest and when I got done, I was not only physically able to do that, I had a mental boost as well!! Walked out of they’re chatty, smiling and a bounce in my step because when Dr K. adjusted me it felt so good it should of been illegal ?? I found myself sitting there for a moment IN SHOCK because the relief was INSTANTANEOUS. I mean your girl blushed when I stood up because I didn’t want him to stop lol!! So with that being said…if you feeling any pain and discomfort or just want a good alignment, stop by JC and see Dr. K. Affordable, friendly, fast service and very knowledgeable! This was the first time I’ve ever tried chiropractics. Dr. Taylor took time to explain the basics of the science, and shared some of her background, explaining that there is more than one school of thought when it comes to chiropractics. She took time to understand my issues, which was a key in convincing me to purchase the wellness package! Once she began the manipulation, she took the time to explain what she was observing and how she was going to fix the issue. Within 10 min she had identified and adjusted, probably a dozen spots. I was expecting a lot of noise (and pain), but the only spot that hurt a little was a final adjustment on my left arm, but a day later, and I gotta say; my elbow hasn’t felt this good in a while! I’ll be back tomorrow for session 2! BTW: fees seem fairly reasonable.

Just had a session with Dr. K. He took time to talk me through issues I have concern about, then point by point showed me where I was out of alignment. He did an adjustment and I feel the difference immediately. 100% better than when I walked in. A+!

We were originally told it would be $89 for 11 visits as a promotions offer. Turns out that was a lie and they’ve been charging a reoccurring $89 monthly payment that wasn’t disclosed. Haven’t been in months and yet still getting charged.

I went there one time several months ago for my sciatica. The gentleman that took my payment told me that with my “treatment plan” from the chiropractor, it would be better to pay the $79 so that I could come in for my next 3 visits within that month. He assured me that it would only be $79 for that month. Little did I know, he signed me up for some long term thing that I didn’t need or want. I am still being charged $79 a month for a service that I do not use. I called over a month ago and explained all this to a woman who was supposed to have a manager call me back. It has been over a month and I have not received any communication from them and am continuing to be charged. RIP OFF COMPLETELY!! I remember asking the initial gentleman because there was another gentleman customer who has this issue while I was waiting to get treated.

Haven’t had chiro care in almost 20 years. What a relief after just one visit! Both members of the team from check-in to the doctor, were very professional as well as welcoming. This is the most affordable way to take care of yourself and I feel great getting back on track with routine adjustments. Didn’t feel pressured to purchase the package I got. My headache was gone within 20 minutes of leaving the office. Thanks for being there for your patients!
