I got SCAMED by The Joint Chiropractic. Please help me find justice, and I am writing this so other people can avoid what happened to me.
I don't know what to do. Please anyone help me.
I went there ONE TIME on 8/25/2023 because of a promotion. Before I signed anything, I specifically asked about the payment because I was leaving the country for a while. I was told in a way that made me believe I was NOT signing up for some ongoing membership or recurring payment.
They put something in front of me on the signing pad and had me sign it. I trusted them.
Then I left.
I NEVER went back. I NEVER used their service again. We had ZERO contact after that.
But they kept charging me $79 EVERY SINGLE MONTH.
For almost THREE YEARS.
I didn't know. I didn't check. I trusted that a business would not just keep taking money from me for a service I wasn't using.
I recently found out and realized they had taken almost $3,000 from me.
I went back to the office and asked them what the hell was going on and asked for my money back. Their answer was basically: “You signed the form, so we can't do anything.”
Seriously???
I specifically asked questions before signing because I knew I was leaving the country. I did not knowingly agree to pay $79 every month for years.
I tried to have a civil conversation with Megan, the Director of Operations, and I tried to record the conversation on my phone because I wanted evidence of her denying my refund. Instead of working with me, they told me to leave and called the police.
I LEFT. I did not cause a scene. I did not threaten anyone. I just wanted an explanation and my money back.
This whole experience made me feel horrible.
Almost $3,000. Gone.
Three years of charges.
One visit.
Zero communication.
Zero services.
And when I finally discovered it and asked for help, THIS is how I was treated.
My first baby is coming and money is tight. and this is how I was treated.
I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP ME.

I absolutely love my weekly visits to the Lynnwood location. Matthew and Dr Matt are very kind, warm and welcoming. Matthew is always at the front desk ready to greet me with a smile. He welcomes me by name and feels like a friend. Dr Matt has a calming energy. I was nervous to see a chiropractor my first visit but he helped me relax and feel comfortable. He always explains what he is going to do, before he does it, and I really appreciate that. I’ve been going over a month now, and I still look forward to my weekly visits. My body is feeling much better! I also love that it’s walk-in. I’ve gone on my lunch break, as well as after work, and I’ve very rarely had to wait more than 5 mins to be seen. And the fact that they are open until 7pm is amazingly convenient for me! I can’t say enough great things about this place. Highly recommend!!

I truly cannot say enough good things about The Joint Chiropractic. This place has been such a gift to my family.
Matthew at the front desk is absolutely incredible. He is always so efficient, friendly, and genuinely a delight every single time we walk in. He sets the tone for such a positive experience right from the start and always gets me laughing.
And Dr. Matt… omgosh… truly a godsend.
He has not only helped me find relief from years of nerve pain in my hips, but he also has been pivotal to my mom’s recovery. She went from being nearly immobile, crying from the constant pain, to walking around again and even laughing with joy after just a few sessions. Seeing that transformation has meant everything to us.
Believe me when I say, this is the best chiropractic care I’ve ever received. I’ve seen at least 5 other chiropractors over my lifetime, and Dr. Matt has been the most effective care with the quickest results, AND the most gentle.
And, on top of all that goodness, they’ve also been so kind and patient with my 4-year-old who has come with me to appointments, which I deeply appreciate as a mom.
Dr. Matt and Matthew have brought real healing into our lives, and I am beyond grateful.

I’ve been visiting The Joint Chiropractic in Lynnwood for a while now, and while the entire facility is excellent, I felt compelled to write this specifically to highlight the incredible care provided by Dr. Taha. The clinic itself is clean, professional, and runs very efficiently. The front desk staff is always welcoming, and the wait times are minimal, making it easy to fit a visit into a busy schedule.
However, Dr. Taha is truly the standout reason why I keep coming back. He is absolutely superb. From the moment you sit down, it’s clear that he genuinely cares about your well-being. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, explains exactly what is going on with your alignment, and performs adjustments with incredible precision and care. I always leave his sessions feeling significantly better—not just physically, but mentally reassured that I am in expert hands.
His technique is effective and comfortable, and he has a way of making you feel like a priority rather than just another patient in line. If you are looking for a chiropractor who is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely 'super,' I cannot recommend Dr. Taha enough. The Joint Lynnwood is a great location, but Dr. Taha makes it exceptional. Five stars all around for his expertise and the positive environment he creates!

It's affordable and very easy to get an adjustment. The staff and doctor are friendly. This place would be good for very general adjustments but If you have a specific area of concern or pain I would probably go elsewhere. I feel as though they just crack your back/neck in hopes that the problem goes away.
For example; They don't do radiographs or a real in depth consultation to figure out which exact vertebra may be causing the issue and how it needs to be adjusted. It is cheap though so I guess you get what you pay for.

Over the years I have worked for three different chiropractic doctors myself since 2000. I started off at the Bothell location and found a connection with a really good doctor that looks at Sports injuries and just aging female menopause aches and pains. I have followed the team up to Lynnwood and I am a huge fan of Dr Beasley. He gives me sound advice gets my body adjusted as I am a 30 year male technician and recently made a move to where my Not the best. If you are looking for a chiropractor who truly cares about his patients, Dr. Beasley is your guy. He is absolutely incredible. He will tell you to walk around and after watching you walk, he can see where you need to be adjusted and literally pinpoint your pain (if you are having any). He is honest and will tell you if something needs further medical treatment, or, if it doesn't.
The front desk staff is amazing as well. Stephanie is warm and welcoming, and was super helpful in assisting me when I was trying to get my new patient intake completed. On my 2nd visit, she knew my name and had me all checked in just as I was walking through the door.

This place is a hidden gem! I was skeptical of if this would help me, but my pain drove me to seek help. I came in with a severe tension headache that was going on it’s 3rd week and within my first visit Dr. Beasley had adjusted my neck and gave me stretches and exercises to do at home to help. Every single time I come in there is progress made and I am able to move, and breathe better. My injury is 7 years old and I have not felt as limber as I am now since then! Receptionist lady doesn't understand that she's in a customer service position, especially at a place where people come when they're in pain - very cold and unwelcoming. She wouldn't fit me in, I guess they were just about to go to lunch. Fine. I came back at the time that the hours on the door said they'd reopen, she was nowhere to be found but had left her purse on the desk in plain view, completely unattended - not very smart. She eventually came back up front and got things moving, never a smile or any amount of kindness from her, though.
I just had some hip pain - nothing chronic, just something I slept on wrong that needed to be popped back into place. Should've been a home run for this McDonald's of a chiro office, just a quick in-and-out adjustment. I was also interested because they have a first-timer discount.
Doc fixed about 70% of my problem then whipped out his pseudo-prescription pad to pseudo-prescribe me another SEVEN visits. Oh, so that's why they have a first-timer discount! They want you to keep coming back, they'll even try to use something akin to "Doctor's orders" to trick you into some sort of monthly plan, because then the visits are cheaper and you REALLY need to come back, wink wink nudge nudge.
If the doc had just fixed my problem completely I would actually have a reason to come back the next time I had something that needed adjustment. Instead, they just look incompetent, greedy, and shady as hell. But hey, at least the doc fixed part of my problem!

My wife and I came to The Joint Chiropractic Lynnwood on the recommendation of a friend. The first doctor who treated us was Indian Doctor D, who was very professional and nice. , because of this Indian Doctor D was transferred. Now the doctor there changed to a female doctor, and then a male doctor, they always change different doctors, which left a very bad impression on me, I think it is a waste of money, and every time I go, there is no effect. There was a female doctor who didn't even cure my waist, and said that she cured it with other methods. My God, are all patients stupid? I asked the girl at the front desk (Stephanie) where Doctor D was, and she said that Doctor D went to a place where new doctors are trained. I really can 't understand it. The doctors here told me that they have studied chiropractic for 8 years, do they still need training? When I knew that I could not continue to receive Indian Doctor D and he would not work in Lynnwood, I decided to cancel my membership because the other doctors in Lynnwood left a very bad impression on me. When Stephanie heard that I wanted to cancel my membership, she was very unfriendly and indifferent. When I got home, I called The Joint Chiropractic Lynnwood to confirm my cancellation email, but no one answered my call. I called 4 times before Stephanie answered my call . Her attitude was very rude. She hung up before I could finish my conversation, which made me feel lost and sad. I have not received a phone confirmation email for my cancellation.

I really like Dr. White and the receptionist (sorry I can't remember your name right this moment!). I have only seen the other doctors once each, so my opinion is limited. The location is convenient, the price is affordable. It isn't necessarily as in depth as chiropractic as I've had before, and there isn't a private room for the adjustments like I'm used to, but I am kind of picky in that regard.
Dr. White sadly isn't with this location anymore, but Dr. Beasley has been a wonderful replacement.

My family and I have been coming The Joint in Lynnwood for a few months now, and my quality of life has drastically improved with my weekly adjustments.
The staff here always goes above and beyond, the adjustments are tailored to your needs, it’s always clean inside, and the price point is the cherry on top! I haven’t been seen by a chiropractor here that I wasn’t happy with, and I know that that won’t ever be an issue!
The first time I came in I received a free consultation and adjustment, and I already knew I wanted to come back! After my adjustment, I talked with Stephanie at the front desk (who is an absolute angel!) and she explained how their pricing looks, the plans they have, and even gave me an ice pack to take home to help with any soreness I may have.
The cost of their adjustments are so much more reasonable than places I have gone in the past. I can get 4 visits a month for the price of a single visit at my old Chiropractor. I also feel way more relief from having the luxury of being able to go weekly rather than once a month because of the cost.
I’ve been seeing Dr Arash weekly, and I love how he always tailors my adjustments for my needs. He starts by checking in with your pain levels, what all feels like it needs adjusted, and how the last the adjustments went after leaving. He has my body being able to move better than it has for the last few years, and I am so grateful to be able to walk up stairs without shooting pains in my hips!
If you are thinking about trying a chiropractor or have been interested in The Joint - don’t wait! Go see what I am talking about for yourself! You will not be disappointed!! ♥️

I want to thank Dr White at The Joint Chiropractor in Lynnwood WA!!
I injured my low back while trying to change a flat tire...decision I would soon regret, but I did it because road side assistance would take about 45 minutes to arrive.
It was painful to do just about everything, particularly to stand up, even if it was after sitting for a few minutes. I had a couple of adjustments prior to seeing Dr White, but I thought my life was going to be painful from then on. Dr. White gave me homework; some stretches for the hip flexors, or psoas (I even learned a new word) and she explained in how many weeks I could expect to be better. THIS WAS WHAT GAVE ME HOPE. I did my homework, got adjusted, and l'm back to normal.
Thanks again for giving me hope and the tools to help myself.

I love The Joint Chiropractic for its convenience and quality but the doctors here are a cut above the rest of the locations I’ve been to - which is many (I hesitate to say so in fear it’ll get even busier at this location) but truly Dr. White, Dr. Callen, and Ramon (so sorry if the spelling is wrong for ya’ll!) are amazing! If you have back issues, want to work on maintenance, or have a history of injuries from life or sports, this is the place to go!
Edit: a year+ later and they’re still the best care team I can always count on. Also need to shoutout Dr. Dalal for amazing adjustments and taking special time and attention to all of his patients (just like every other doctor that I’ve encountered here who are covering the clinic when others are out on vacation etc)

This place is amazing. I'm 18 and for the last five years, my back, neck, and hips were tight and sore all the time. But after my first adjustment, I finally felt like a human again. I can move freely and think clearly now. I feel more flexible and am getting better exercise at the gym.
EDIT:
Pros:
Provided relief from joint, back, and neck pain.
Increased mobility.
Helped clear up mental fog.
Cons:
The facility was closed often, making it hard to go whenever needed.
While the treatment provided temporary pain relief, the aching and stiffness would return, requiring more visits without a lasting solution.
They mostly focused on my neck and back, despite my file indicating additional issues with my head, wrist, and shoulder.
I was told there was nothing more I could do except keep attending, even though they initially promised to teach me self-care techniques after three months.
The program was supposed to last three months, but I was charged for additional time without being informed.
Currently, I’m experiencing stiffness in my back, shoulder, and neck, despite attending for five months. The relief has only been temporary.
I found the experience disappointing, and the lack of progress has limited my mobility and well-being.

I meant to make this review sooner— we were in town a couple months ago and both in pain from all the travel and various things! I’ve been struggling with constant/repeated pain in certain areas, I’ve gone to chiropractors and had massages before and it’s a temporary fix but always just a “bandaid”. Dr. Anne Johnson took the time to explain to me how things that are seemingly not connected actually have a major impact on each other (ex. X rib and X shoulder, etc.) she was so informative which is so helpful because I’ve never experienced service like that. With both of us, she took the time to go into detail about how different things may contribute to the pain and how we can help ourselves at home. Sooo friendly, kind, professional, honest. Nobody was too “salesy”. Loved it!! We came in April and literally still talk about how good the service was lol

I had never been to a chiropractor so I was a bit hesitant, but hopeful, considering the immense amount of pain I was in. After being introduced to Dr. White, I laid down and received my first adjustment. The release I felt was so significant, I was totally taken back when an explosion of emotion was released with it and I burst into tears, right there on the table. Dr. White was so patient and supportive, and continues to be, every time I’m in. She really connects with, and cares for, her patients, and it shows in her practice. Everyone at the joint has been so helpful and welcoming. If you’re experiencing back pain (or even emotional pain that could be taking on a physical form) and you’re having a tough time deciding what the right choice is for you, I would highly consider/recommend this place.

There are two chiropractors at this clinic, with Dr. White holding it down Mon-Thurs. All the reviews on here saying she did what no other chiropractor had been able to accomplish and they felt amazing, are all true. Her feel for your body, her technique and the way in which she adjusts is everything. I have never had another chiropractor get the results that she has with me in just a 2 month period.
Dr. Anne Johnson is the chiropractor here on Fridays and Saturdays is amazing as well. I have only seen her once, but my experience was wonderful and I will definitely come on a Friday some weeks. She, too, was able to adjust me (my ribs in particular) in a way no other chiropractor has been able to. She has a totally different feel and technique, and her adjustments are different as well, but I left feeling just as amazing as I do after Dr. White.
Also, yes, you can wait longer than 10 minutes depending on when you go, but it’s totally worth it and it is the business model YOU signed up for. To knock down this business bc of your own ignorance is silly.

It's my first time to do this Chiropractic thing...at first I was very skeptic. I just rely on medication and massages. But it ain't working. Plus massage cost too much. The first time I went I was seen right away and the treatment was great. I was convinced to sign up for a membership told that my money would be refunded because I should qualify for free membership as a provider. This never happened and I got no refund. I tried to go several times and wait time was hours long, I was unable to stay long enough to be seen. No appointments so you have to just wait for a random amount of time. When I first started with The Joint Chiropractic, my Neuropathy was out of control. The pain was so bad it was causing me to pass out and my hands were so swollen I couldn't drive or even hold a pen. I love Dr. White and I only got adjusted by her once! I came to this clinic based on the reviews here on Google and I’m so glad I trusted them. I was in Seattle for a spring break trip and my neck was super messed up due to the pillows provided at my airbnb. I get frequent chiropractic care in my home state by a family friend, so I was nervous to be adjusted by someone new. However, Dr. White was amazing. She listens intently to what you’re saying, she explains what she’s doing as she does it, helps you breathe, and most importantly- she’s got strong hands! I told her I was having severe headaches and she gave me the best head massage I’ve ever experienced! Once I left her office I felt so much better and I had ZERO pain for the rest of my trip. She was even kind enough to call the next day to see how I was doing (which I missed the call, but the fact she left a voice message was so sweet to me). I absolutely recommend this chiropractic office, but especially Dr. White! It helps that the price point isn’t outrageous (and that they don’t check insurance) but seriously the care you get here is icing on the cake. If I lived in Seattle I absolutely would frequently visit! Thank you Dr. White!!!

This location of this franchise as well as the company as a whole have really been lifesavers for me. The ability to get adjusted as such a reasonable price is amazing and the ability for someone like me to travels all over to be able to use ANY location is priceless. I came in with my head pointed to my shoulder and left standing up right. My Dr was very personable and asked very detailed questions made a few jokes and even recommended some restaurants to try out as I still consider misled new and don’t know where all the good food is. I have been going to The Joint Chiropractic for about 3 months now. When I started going there my back hurt so much that I could hardly sit, lay down, drive, bend, or anything else without a great amount of pain. I had already been to the doctors office for the pain but received no relief. Dr. White, who has been my main chiropractor at The Joint, worked with me almost everyday for the first couple of weeks until I was able to move with less pain, and we have been adjusting my time since then. At this point, I'm only going every week or two to get finished up, but the progress is amazing! I'm not at 100% yet, but SO, SO much better! Even after a big regression about half way through, just being able to sit at my desk to type this is such a huge improvement I can't even express how much this has helped. I'm so happy I started going here!

I have never had a chiropractor as good as Dr.White. The care she puts into her work is surpassed by none. I would definitely recommend doing the wellness plan with her. I leave feeling taller, I feel like my headaches fade away after a few adjustments, and I sleep better. I know I make it sound like a commercial but I really couldn’t be more serious about how much of an improvement these adjustments have had on my physical and mental health. She can adjust nearly every joint and her hands are always warm, and her music is always great. 10/10 for ambience too.

I’ve liked every chiropractor here, except for one female that isn’t here any longer. I really have been impressed with Dr. Arash Fatemi. He is professional, experienced, he listens and he has great bedside manner. He also tried the activator on my neck and arm, and it has helped tremendously. I’ve gone here on and off for several years. The best chiropractor I’ve ever had now works at the Bellevue Joint Chiropractic and I try to go there or the Bothell location whenever I can however this is closer to me. Twice I’ve had injuries during adjustments. It’s unfortunate. I also don’t understand why they have a sign on the front door saying that Masks are required for entry yet every time I have walked in nobody is wearing one..it just seems inconsistent. It seems like this location has always been less professional and had a very high rate of Dr turnover. I keep hoping that changes but it doesn’t seem to. The other locations are much better. I’d avoid this one and get better care elsewhere.

I have long term chronic issues and was concerned I might not be able to get the help I need before getting set up with insurance in the state. I was able to get on a membership plan at the Joint, and though I still suffer with my structural issues, I'm getting the support I need to help me get through it. PROS: Service is a great value and convenient. I love Dr. White. She is caring and talented at her craft. She has helped me a lot these past years. She deserves a raise!
CONS: in the past months, I’ve noticed a huge change in the level of service at this location. They randomly close certain days with very little or no notice. They close early or they open late, which is very inconvenient when you’re trying to plan your life. What irritates me is that I pay for a monthly membership yet I’m not able to use it on certain days when I would like to because of the multiple dates per month they are having.
I understand, but maybe they need to increase wages to order to have more doctors on staff and to stop running on a skeleton crew . This has been going on for months. I used to come twice now I come once a week and if this keeps happening, maybe even less or sadly. I may have to end my membership. Reliability is huge Especially when you’re in pain and need relief.
I would rather pay more to go to a different chiropractor if this keeps happening. I really hope they get their act together. Treat your staff right and treat your customers right. This is not acceptable.
This is not a reflection on the staff. They always treat me well and I love seeing them and receiving care from them. This is all on management and whoever is running this store/company.

I was a patient there at the Lynnwood clinic. I wasn't going to write a bad review until I received an advertisement phone call of their special holiday offer. Therefore, I wanted to go back but Dr. D wasn't there. She was an Angel. Instead Dr. Pirak was still working there. He was the one who tried to break my leg. I had huge bursies on my leg and swelled up badly. It took me some time to fully recover. I told the owner Rick about the ordeal and I even showed him my swollen leg and nasty bursies but I guess he didn't do anything about it. Instead while I was getting a complimentary adjustment from him he sat on my eye glasses and partly broke it. Be careful everybody. You don't know what they are going to break next.

I have pretty regular lumbar pain and stiffness. I always leave feeling better than when I came in and my work week is so much easier and less painful after an adjustment. Dr. Deaux is the best.

We really like The Joint, it's a good business model The doctor's have good adjustment skills and I feel great after an adjustment! On August 13th. my wife and i went in for an adjustment and I could hear dr.
D was with a with a patient so we sat down waiting for our turn. After about ten minutes of hearing the doctor and patients discussing work and life topics. Two other patients had arrived The doctor continued to have her friendly conversation with the patient . Atter another 10 minutes I stepped into the adjustment area and told the doctor "you have four waiting " dr. D replied "YAH WHATEVER " I was shocked! One of the other patients waiting ask me "did she just say whatever? " I said yes she did. The three of us left. Having eight chiropractors in my family and being in business I understand the importance of patient/ client relationship. Dr. D is young and doesn't understand the professionalism and poise required of a doctor. Maybe that's why she doesn't practice at her husband's office. Good luck dr.

Oh man! Lately it's getting so many patients waiting for over an 40 min, they should have another Dr. To speed up process or go by an appointment. Last time a patient ask Dr. Deaux if she was going to spent more time with the current patient since she was with him for 45min to what she responded "WHATEVER". Dr. D is an angel! She really LISTENS to her patients. She cares about getting to the root issues causing pain or discomfort for long term results, rather than giving you a quick standard adjustment and sending you on your way. I go to the Joint once a week. Both Dr. Joe and Dr. D are very skilled chiropractors. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes, never have to make an appointment.I just walk in when it fits my schedule and never have to worry about insurance. Each visit costs me $20. DR.D is such a wonderful Chiropractor, honestly I was a little hesitant going in for a shoulder pain not thinking to much about if I needed an adjustment. Thankfully with the skill set she has Dr.D was able to identify the problem right away , giving me the correct adjustment leaving me feeling so much better than before. Update: the front desk at this location gave me a call to discuss my concerns about both the bad adjustment and the lack of notice about hour changes *and* asked what they could do to make it right. I really appreciated the contact, transparency, and customer service. They turned my frown upside down :)

Hit or miss here. Nice front desk staff and they used to have a good female chiro on Saturdays. Last time I went there was a rough, brisk male chiro who didn't check in with me at all and used far more pressure than needed, so much so that it hurt. Now, they are closed indefinitely on Saturdays with no notice beyond a paper sign on the door. An email to customers would have been greatly appreciated and saved me the 30 min. drive.

Hidden recurring charges for packages. Was presented as could buy future packages at same price but instead it was recurring monthly charge. Called same morning as charge appeared to cancel and refund unwanted package being handled to try and continue and when I got pushy to cancel and refund they refuse to send form and acting like children will not even answer the phone. Adjustment felt like a drive thru service exactly the same process was completed with my husband despite different issues. Overall saw the doctor see clients for 10-15 minutes max and then send them on their way. Additionally keep trying to bill us for a membership that we canceled back in April. Just had to dispute the charge once again with our bank. Friendly staff but caliber of practice is far below standard. Happily going to a new Chiropractor that actually treats his patients like people not numbers.
Update: Spoke with Cindy, apparently corporate restarted our membership because it was on hold not canceled outright. My husband and I strongly remember us Canceling but nevertheless we have been refunded our monies. Appreciate the customer service from Cindy. In terms of the efficient Chiropractic care I still feel that without xrays, without speaking to your patients regarding their pain, and without taking time to build trust with patients the care we received was subpar by any standard.
