The Joint Opens Second Wichita Chiropractic Office

Not surprisingly, Monique and Roger Haynes-Robertson have chosen the Wichita Crossing development just south of K-96 at 2564 N. Greenwich for their next Joint Chiropractic.
The lack of surprise is because the center, which is anchored by Academy Sports, is where they had the most-successful opening of their six Wichita-area Sports Clips Haircuts stores.
"It's outperforming any other store that we've opened," Monique Haynes-Robertson says. "We can't keep up. We have to keep hiring staff."
She credits the ease of getting off K-96 and turning into the center.
"You don't fight any traffic."
The Joint will open sometime in July.
The first Joint opened at NewMarket Square at 21st and Maize Road in late 2016.
The Haynes-Robertsons had hoped to open much earlier than that, but they discovered that only licensed medical professionals can own medical facilities in Kansas. So chiropractor and Joint medical director Joseph Forred owns both clinics and is contracting with the Haynes-Robertsons as franchisees to manage them.
The Joint is a membership-based franchise with 410 sites nationally, all of which are available to members.
A monthly membership for four adjustments is $59, and each treatment after that is $10. A youth membership, for those 18 and younger, is $39 a month.
There's also package pricing that allows patients to buy a set number of visits that don't expire for a year.
"I think there's a need in our area for affordable chiropractic care, and we do provide that," Monique Haynes-Robertson says.
She says the Joint also is convenient. It's open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends.
Christi Royse of J.P. Weigand & Sons handled the deal for the Wichita Crossing space.
The Haynes-Robertsons are close to a deal on a Derby Joint near the Derby Marketplace.
They'd also like one in the Maple and Ridge Road area but haven't found one yet.
Much like the success of their Wichita Crossing Sports Clips, Monique Haynes-Robertson says the NewMarket Joint has done "just extremely well."
"Better than we imagined."
