Dr. Lars Youngquist is passionate about helping patients learn about their health and how to enjoy a happier, healthier quality of life. Dr. Lars understands health challenges having grown up with asthma and related bouts of pneumonia as a teenager. He learned early on never to take health for granted.

This health challenge motivated Dr. Lars to study how the body works and understand how to restore health. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Lars earned a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. He worked as a licensed acupuncturist, using a holistic approach with acupuncture, massage and herbal therapies. In his continued pursuit to understand health and disease, Dr. Lars found a chiropractor who not only eliminated his back pain, but also helped him to function at his best. This motivated Dr. Lars to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. For over two decades now, Dr. Lars has used a variety of chiropractic adjusting techniques to empower patients of all ages to live a healthier and better quality of life. Adjustment techniques are patient specific and include:

Diversified osseous adjustments; instrument assisted (Activator); and Thompson drop table. Dr. Lars also employs specific rehabilitative exercises and myofascial release, as well as, ergonomic recommendations for symptoms related to spending hours in front of a computer. Dr. Lars is also fluent in medical Spanish.

He also gives back to the profession by serving as an Examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, for the national chiropractic licensing exam.

Dr. Lars is also passionate about health and wellness, enjoying time with his wife, Tiyana, their two kids, and the youngest member of the family – Jayda (their mini-schnauzer), as well as, personal growth, exercise (gym, mountain biking, yoga) and serving at his church.
