I visited The Joint Chiropractic office in Chula Vista on Palomar around 3 pm, this was my first time visiting this office. No other patients were there when I arrived. I checked in with the app, the front desk lady (I didn't get her name) was polite and gave me a nice welcome. I live in Northern California so I was visiting the area. The chiropractor was a male, unfortunately, I didn't get his name, but I have to say, this chiropractor has been the only one in years that paid more attention to my adjustment. Most of The Joint Chiropractic offices I have gone to is very assembly line, three or four patients are waiting their turn on the tables to be adjusted, and they all get the same adjustment, it's fast and on to the next.

This place was amazing. I have been having issues with my back and was a little apprehensive about going to a chiropractor, but my husband talked me into it. So thankful he did. From start to finish it was great. Ruthi was sweet and explained everything comprehensively. And I can't say enough about my Dr. Dr. Hipp was spot on my hurt spots, gentle but firm, felt better immediately. She got me on a treatment plan and I am so excited to start feeling better. It would be beneficial to women if your location provided a pregnancy bolster and other bolsters for women who are well endowed for comfort during adjustments. Dr was apprehensive to adjust my neck due to my 3 disc replacement over 5 years ago. Only using the clicker since you don't do X-rays. I appreciate being cautious but don't feel like I was given enough care. She could have done more to make up for it. Like hands, wrist and arms. Hope this helps you and customers to come.

This review is only based on customer service. I had called to make an appointment for my boyfriend and asked before making it if I could pay over the phone. The lady had said I could the morning of his appointment before he comes in. I didn’t catch her name but she was sweet and explained everything to me very nicely since i am out of state. I call on the day of his appointment and I get a different lady and she tells me very rudely that they cannot do that since he is not a patient yet, i then ask if it’s okay for me to pay after he’s seen and she says “no because it’s his account and he has to pay” (even though his appointment is under my phone number and email). I did not catch this lady’s name either but she should not be answering phone calls if she’s going to be rude to new customers.

This place is super quick, professional, and clear at explaining everything. This was my first time going to any chiropractor and let me tell you, my back is feeling amazing already. I was recommended for a treatment and then switch to a maintenance plan. But this was me, my situation may not be the same as everyone. And I took it. No regrets. I definitely would recommend this location as the tram today (Monday) was super nice and professional. Got in a few laughs with my girl Ruth too at the end.

Leaving this review just due to the HORRIBLE front desk customer service I witnessed during my visit. The woman with glasses that assisted us as we checked in had a very rude attitude and was just plain unprofessional towards everyone checking in. Made a last minute apointment because a tweak in my back that was hindering my breathing. Arrived early to complete paperwork. Waited 40 mins in the most uncomfortable chairs that made my back worse, they called 5 people who arrived after me. The receptionist was rude and condescending to me and another patient. 0 out of 10 don't recommend

I started with a random back pain earlier this week and quickly made an appointment at the Joint Chiropractor. I made the right choice because it was such a friendly and welcoming place. Ruthy greeted me as soon as I walked in and made me feel comfortable as I waited for the doctor to call me back. The doctor was incredibly kind and walked me through the process of how he would be helping me. He cracked my back and I felt better within minutes of being there. Needless to say, I’ll be recommending this location to my friends and family. Thank you!

I’ve been a member of The Joint Chiropractic since either 2016 or 2017, and have been at several locations over the years, Ventura, Huntington Beach, Mission Valley, National City, and Chula Vista primarily. The Chula Vista location at the Trolley Center is by far my favorite. Between Dr. Romero and Dr. Keffer, I’m always in good hands and leave feeling so much better. You can tell these two actively care about your care. They don’t just want to get you on the table and then send you on your way, as has been my experience with a few others in different locations. They truly want to make sure your body is in better shape and condition than when you first walked in. As long as I can swing it, I always make sure I can get to this location when I need to come in for my adjustments.

I've been coming to this location for a couple of months. I came in with severe lower back pain, the first visit was reliving, but with some consistency, after a couple of visits the pain was completely gone. I was experiencing pain and stiffness throughout my neck and shoulder, I was so frustrated spending money on deep tissue massages only to have the pain return. My first visit with Dr Romero he showed me how stiff and out of place my spine and body was. I was amazed at how easily he identified the problem and showed me rather than just telling me. He has done more than just adjustments, he provided me with stretching and exercises to actually repair my body. I can not recommend Dr Romero highly enough, if you are in pain or something feels stiff or stuck he can help you identify and fix the root cause, not just treat the symptoms.

I went in today around 1pm and the receptionist informed me there was no doctor on hand. Dr.Ida had called out again. I don't pay almost $100 every month expecting the best chiropractor; I pay that much for the flexibility The Joint Chiropractic claims to offer. The receptionist was very nice and awarded me a free visit. I understand it's not her fault. I've heard this doctor calls out often. How unprofessional. I'm paying this company for flexibility the least they could have is a chiropractor there. Went here today, 11/19 and 11/12 after 3pm on a Sunday and no chiropractor was on duty. At least change your website location to closed. i do enjoy the convenience, but not having a chiro on duty and being open does not make a lot of sense to me. UPDATE 12/2 You can see the response below from the joint. its is interesting this is posted, on 11/28, i think from them. Interesting because i tried again on 11/26 and again the location was open and there was no chiropractor on duty.

The doctors are great and they are nice. Got here 25 mins before closing and was told they couldn’t see me today. You should change your hours to 30 mins prior to your standard hours, so the doctor can help clients until closing. Then a lady walked in right as I was in the car and they allowed her to be seen. I’m not sure if she checked in before me and was waiting in her car regardless I was here before closing.

I showed up to the facility And the chiropractor ran over inside the office to avoid have contact with the patient. I went to check in and they didn’t accept me because they don’t take take anybody an hour before their lunch time. If that’s the case, have a little common sense and close the facility from 1:00pm to 2:45pm so the chiropractor can have the nap time without disturbance.

Came in here a couple of weeks ago hoping I would get adjusted. I injured my back about 2 years ago and have been getting adjusted elsewhere through my insurance (medi-cal). Upon arrival the receptionist was very nice . No issue there . I filled out the intake form, and was later called to the back. I don’t recall the doctors name but she was an older lady with blonde hair. As I was explaining my history and asked her if I can receive a full body adjustment, passive aggressively responds “well I don’t know what that means.” Taken aback, I was shocked by her response and immediately felt uncomfortable. She then explained why am I here when I have been getting treatment elsewhere through my medi-cal insurance. I simply explained i am here because the clinic where I’m getting treated are only open from Monday through Friday and due to my busy schedule I haven’t been able to get it in. The Joint is open on Sundays so I would like to get adjusted today because I DESPERATELY NEED IT. The doctor did not want to adjust me because she assumed I couldn’t afford the monthly payments they offered. Judging by my insurance she even said “I’m assuming money is an issue which is why you’re going to San ysidro health” again taken aback by this experience I will not return. That was a very inappropriate comment, and to assume I had no money based on my insurance is also wrong. Seemed like she only cared about the money versus my health .

I've always had really good luck here in Chula Vista at the Palomar Street Joint Chiropractic one time I came in and my arm was stiff as could be as my neck was stiff as well, it was a surprise I made it here. They fixed me right up. Today I had a nerve pinched in my spine I've been in excruciating pain for about a week I finally came in to see if they could help me. I met with Dr Grandy he was super good I can walk normal and my back is not hurting anymore. Dr Grandy is very knowledgeable not just about the back but about health problems in general. Very knowledgeable. The secretary Paola is a sweetheart. I'll continue to come back. These two are awesome. ?? Thank you both.

Was really excited to get an adjustment after getting their ad on IG. Check in young lady was really nice. Was told by another lady that popped out from the back that it wasn’t recommended I get an adjustment without even knowing my history or reading my paperwork. She said chiropractic visits weren’t a one time thing without speaking to me longer than two minutes. She didn’t know I had an HSA card or that I could afford recurring visits. Lol I had to leave, didn’t feel welcomed after her comments.

Dr. Justin is so great! I have minor scoliosis and within 3 months of consistently going he was able to correct it. It's not noticeable anymore and I love how I feel after every visit. Today I went in for a follow up, and there is a older female Dr there now, and she honestly hurt me more. She couldn't put enough pressure and now my lower spine is hurting more. I stopped by inquiring about the special offer for a complimentary exam and adjustment. My lower back had been aching bad for a few days. OTC pain meds weren't helping so I was open to try this place. I'm glad I went to this spot because the Chiropractor helped out big time. Dr. John seemed like a nice dude, he was pleasant, and he even covered down for the receptionist who was at lunch. He was a team player. Anyways, I liked the fact the doctor didn't promise any magic cure and was up front that my condtion won't go away. He was being honest and realistic with the future goals. His adjustments he made calmed down the burning feeling on my back. I was so happy and relieved that the pain went away. I have always been open minded to treatments besides meds and surgery. I'm glad I signed up and I am looking forward to the future visits!
