    I drove approximately 40 minutes to this location after calling ahead to confirm whether I could come in. During the phone conversation, I specifically told the lady I spoke with that I was just 13 minutes away. She told me I could come in and never mentioned that an appointment was required. Upon arriving, I was informed that the location was appointment-based and that I couldn’t be seen. This is completely unacceptable. The entire purpose of calling ahead was to avoid wasting my time and making an unnecessary trip. If an appointment was required, that should have been communicated during the phone conversation. Customer service starts with clear and accurate communication. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking in my experience today. I hope management addresses this so other customers don’t have to experience the same frustration.

    Chiro experience is no frills straightforward get what you need done, meets expectations for the franchise. I’ve been here twice. Front desk was unimpressive. Overheard before my appt “Shows she didn’t pay last visit” I was the only woman in the waiting room, but maybe it’s about another patient. After my adjustment reception says “you’re lucky because it shows you didn’t pay in your last visit (over a year ago). But it maybe it was a glitch in the system but that I don’t have to pay for it.” First, if it’s not something I need to settle why bring it up at all? To which I reply, “I did pay, and can show you my bank statement if you need me to pull that up”. Then she says, oh…I’m seeing that it reverted to 2026 that’s why it’s showing unpaid. She claims it’s a “glitch” in the system. Okay, so was it a glitch or you just didn’t double check the date to confirm the first or second time and are blaming technology for your oversight? Oversight happens to all of us, that’s fine. But the guilt tripping that I’m lucky? As if I “got away” with something? Which was the tone she was giving. You thought you saw I didn’t pay for a visit over year 1/2 ago…she was the one that ran my card on the first visit. Just weird choice in phrasing. But because of this “glitch” it saw me as a first time patient again and I was only charged the $30 fee rather than $55 (which I came in expecting to pay $55) and again she says “you’re lucky because it’s only having you pay the first time visit price, but you will have to pay the regular price next visit.” Same type of tone. Yes, I’m aware, Tammy. I’m not trying to “get lucky” next time nor was I ever. What’s up with that energy? I hope whenever I come in for my next visit I can just pay the single visit non-membership price and be on my way without a story.

    I walked in to ask about renewing my membership because someone wants to gift me a pakage and was mistreated immediately and never even properly greeted. Before I could get a word in or even get in line, the woman at the front desk shouted two questions at me from across the lobby, then sent me away — at 4 o’clock, telling me they were closed at 5. I was nearly in tears when I got to my car-it really stung! her tone was so mean and abrasive and it was embarrassing. I only wanted to know if I could renew my membership before I come back Tuesday because it wouldn't allow me to renew online and buy a package. That’s it. Now I remember why I stopped going. It doesn’t matter how good the chiropractor is. If you make someone in pain feel unwelcome at the door, you’re in the wrong business. I won’t be back.

    This is the best Joint Chiropractic location! I’ve tried a few, but Dr. Julia, Dr. Will, and Dr. Nick consistently give precise, effective and complete adjustments that go just a bit beyond what I’ve had at other locations. They are extremely knowledgable and experienced! I have a lot of neck, back and tmj-like issues that can significantly impact my quality of life.     Not all license chiropractor same skill and care for their patient. I have been member the Joint Chiropractor for period of time. I can tell out of 15 doctor, inly 1 good. Next time you want to visit, he moved other location. This company turn offer so high, no wonder keep change doctor. Quality treatment back and neck adjustment like speed of light, less than 4 minutes. Faster than Mc Donald drive through. So, what you expected, your pain gone in 4 minutes? Even you come 10 times, the pain still there. So The Joint Chiropractor , like wholesale company to sell volumes with discount price but quality.     I had a very disappointing experience with Jeremy on 02/24 around 6:20 PM. When I walked in, I was not greeted and was simply told to take a seat because he was on the phone. Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn’t sure if I needed to check in. After noticing that others were being called, I approached the counter to ask. I was immediately cut off and told, in a rude tone, that they were not accepting new patients. I explained that I had spoken to someone earlier that day, completed the required paperwork online, and was instructed to arrive before 6:30 PM. When I mentioned the name of the person I spoke with, Jeremy interrupted me again and stated that he was not a woman and that his name was not Allison. I clarified that I never said I spoke to him, only that I had spoken to someone else. He then accused me of “lying to his face,” saying he had been working all day. I asked for his name and the name of a manager. He stated that he was the manager and that there was no one above him. During this exchange, he said he had “a horrible day” and didn’t need me “adding to it.” The situation escalated quickly—he became extremely agitated, asked me to leave, and threatened to call security. He even got up from his desk and walked out to look for security. I was honestly shocked by the entire interaction. I completely understand and respect policies regarding new patients. My issue was not with the policy, but with the way I was spoken to and treated while calmly trying to explain the situation. This was a very upsetting experience, especially since I had been looking forward to coming here for quite some time. Unfortunately, the customer service I received made that impossible.

    I have tried calling multiple times this morning to attempt to schedule a first appointment, each time a person named “Tammy” picks up - she clearly hears me at my first sentence. Then laughs and pretends that she can no longer hear me speaking and abruptly hangs up the phone. I have tried calling on my partners cell phone as well, and she does the EXACT same thing. It’s very obvious she can hear me and is just being rude/does not want to help. This is beyond frustrating and I am avoiding this place like the plague now.

    I’ve been going here for a couple years. Great service for most of the chiropractors. There’s one female chiropractor that does not have enough strength for a guy my size but she gave good advice for her exercises. Her name was Dr. Julia Vanderploeg. The best chiropractor there is Dr. George Harraka. He can Handle a guy, my size in a struggle enough to do the adjustment. He also gives sound advice and doesn’t step out of side of the range of his expertise on advice.

    This place is horrible. Known by real chiropractors as the McDonald’s of chiropractics. You get what you pay for, that’s for sure. Its cheap price, equals cheap and low quality service. Usually on and off the table within 60 seconds. Basically zero relief what so ever. I’ve personally witnessed attractive woman in yoga pants go in and be “adjusted” for 15 min by male “chiropractors” there. So if you want to be borderline inappropriately touched, while just trying to get some pain relief, then this is the place for you. I would give this company negative stars if possible for how horrible the customer service and “chiropractic service is. It should be illegal for these people to touch anyone’s body’s in the way they do, and they should never be allowed to touch someone’s neck, based on the fact that I feel they cause more damage then relief. Like I’ve said, this place sucks and I recommend you find an actual real chiropractor who will take care of you, instead of this straight up scam.

    My husband started the plan with them, they tie you up for a 2-month contract, my husband's back worsened, the ER doctor ordered the therapies to stop and even though he only went 4 times, they charged him for the 2 months. I understand that there is a contract but they should be a little more flexible in cases like this.

I technically “belong” to The Joint Santa Monica since I signed up for a monthly plan there in 2019, but have been unable to attend that clinic because of frequent closures.     I have experienced one of the worst service ever. When I first came the front desk guy was amazing everyone was so amazing that on my second visit I brought in my sister. She was getting the exact plan as mines but for some reason Jeremy decided to bill her over $100. I said how come she’s paying more than me and we have the same plan. Before finishing hers he goes in my account and tells me that I need to put a credit card in my account and sign a contract or else I can’t come anymore. I said that’s fine but that was not my question. He completely ignores my question and kept repeating the credit needs to be on my account. He made me sign a contract even though I never gave him a credit card, this the crazy part on top of signing a contract. Jeremy decides to write his own agreement and trying to force me to sign lmao I can’t make this stuff up. I told him by law he can’t do that this contract is with me and this corporation and not with you I don’t have to sign anything you wrote. He calls his manager completely lied about everything and made me sound like the bad guy. I am not a confrontational person I am a CEO of a company and I really don’t like going back and forth. I just can not believe what was happening to me and my sister. He literally lied in front of us when he chose to pick on us from the beginning. Money is not a problem for me I would of paid anything because I came for the experience of my sister enjoying the service I received the first time I came here and Jeremy ruined that. He continuously repeated the same thing over and over again like 10 times and tried to make me sign something he wrote down. I very disappointed and will never come here again, like why are you lying it’s just chiropractor relax. Please go somewhere else of you want better service. Unbelievable to a point a wrote so much. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

    It used to be the best location, now it's no good. The receptionist didn't want it to service me, because it was a single visit, they tried to sell me something I didn't need it. Because I refused, they made me fill out all my info again even though they already had it, he even went inside and ask "the doctor" if he was willing to see a single visitor.     I have nothing but love for Denice, Dr. Curtis & Dr. Will. My boyfriend & myself frequent this location at least once a week if not more. Denice is always polite & welcoming unpon walking in. Long story short, i pulled a muscle in my intercostal ribcage in june of last year at work (dog groomer) & my back hasn’t been the same, i am turning 31 so im in very good shape. physical therapy made my back worse & soon i began having sciatica flare ups in my shoulders, upper back, lower back, knee, toes going numb, tingling in arm.     Wow, what a great clinic. I have been having a lot of trouble with LA Joint Chiropractic locations being closed or open in sporadic schedules. Thankfully I found this location and after adjustments by both Dr’s, I am pleased to report that I have great new location I can depend on for wellness and support. They are CONSISTENTLY open 7 days a week, the 2 front staff members were really nice, and you can tell it’s an awesome location. I have visited over 40 different locations in the US, and I am always disappointed coming home to LA, and the Joints here are rather ghetto compared to other states.     Today's experience was a three (3). I miss my sessions from the joint on pico in Mid-City. Dr. G from that location was incredible thorough and made sure to ask what areas we wanted to focus on. Both times at the culver locations, the providers have simply gone with the same routine without asking what we would like to work on. Dr. G from the Pico location would do all of the standard items, but also legs, towel adjustment, shoulders and even fingers. I wish the culver location could bring someone as thourough.     Dr Will was phenomenal! He reviewed my chart and discovered I like the “zipper”. The “zipper” is when they wrap a towel around your neck and pull up to decompress/adjust the spine. I typically would not let my first session with a new chiropractor include the “zipper” but he was so gentle and engaging that I felt totally comfortable. It felt great! I’m a fan of Dr Will!

    The Chiro is great! They have great hours and availability and are actually affordable. They will help you if you have back pain and will take their time to make sure they are hearing all of your concerns. Took off one star because they burn crazy strong scented candles in the waiting room. If you are going to bill yourself as a place for health and wellness, please don't fill the small waiting room with toluene and benzene along with endocrine disruptors from artificial fragrances.     OMG this Doctor is amazing I went in with so much pain unable to walk or even talk. I have a sciatic never pinch my my upper right buttocks that made my entire right side from my buttocks down to my toes hurt. Of course I was relieved of the pain instantly and the Doctor was honest and said the pain will come back, but to apply, and to come back 3 times this week, 2 times next week and after that 1x a week for 6 week. Of course I am going back.

    They denied me even a consultation because I ‘seemed too severe’ and ‘couldn’t be seen on a walk-in basis’ when upon another call to another chiropractor would see me IN-HOUSE, even considering the debilitating pain I was in. I hope these people don’t sleep at night after the scam they put on so many. Don’t advertise $29 walk ins when you won’t even consider a basic thrown back. My back was so messed up after my first and only session, I thought it would be great so I signed up for a reoccurring membership as well, they have not cancelled my plan since then. I have had to submit disputes with my bank, they don't pick up the phone and it says "I'm sorry, we're currently busy assisting other customers".     Should’ve read all the reviews before going …… the advertisements is very misleading and watch out for the faster talker’s at the desk it’s all a distraction trust me, when one is asking about your experience while the other talking about something else and handing you the ipad to sign also the bill will go from $29 to $118 and find yourself in a whole membership. They not once mention anything about cancellation policies!!! Watch out for those desk vultures !!!! I haven’t had a issue with the Doctors . Oh yeah cancellation policy is not like the corporate website states it’s not as easy in 4 steps but I will be going on to BBB for that issue.

    I’ve been coming to The Joint Chiropractic for years at various locations. Recently I started coming back to the Culver City location where my husband and I were treated by Dr. Titus. At first I was a little intimidated because he looks very strong and I thought his adjustments would be rough for me but I was so wrong!! Dr. Titus is gentle, poised and patient. He’s super skilled at identifying problem areas even if you don’t realize it’s there. The best part is, he knows how to time adjustments around my moments of tensing up which I do frequently. I highly recommend a visit.

    Dr Bill & Dr Titus are great! I don’t usually use chain locations for services because they always feel unwelcoming and seeing the same person regularly is almost impossible because chains are like revolving doors when it comes to staff. However, I went in one day just to try it out. I’m peculiar and I don’t like my neck cracked. I disclosed this with Dr Bill and he made me comfortable and found other ways/ areas around my neck to help relieve pain. I liked that he took the time to help with pain while navigating my dislike for ripping off my head. Because of his approach I ended up bringing in my daughter to see him and now we see him weekly! It’s a walk-in, no appointment type of place. Plenty of parking at this location… if for some reason there’s a short wait there’s always a Petsmart next-door you can go visit the animals & maybe adopt one :)

    BE CAREFUL, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS INCREDIBLY UNHELPFUL AND DOES NOT REFUND EVEN WHEN IT'S THEIR OWN FAULT. I canceled my membership IN PERSON in January and I am still getting charged for the services. I have not been to any Joint location and I went in person to cancel this membership as instructed all of the way back in January. I've called the Culver location who said they cannot refund me, I've called and left a voicemail to corporate, and I've emailed them twice. I wrote a Yelp review, and that's when they finally responded to my email with a 4 month refund, and a Yelp comment with an incredibly unhelpful response telling me to go back in to "simply cancel" the membership. After 11 months, you want me to go back in and cancel AGAIN? If this was an issue that was my fault, I would chalk this one as a loss and move forward. But this is 100% fault of the staff who was working the day I went into the location to cancel my membership. The chiropractors are very nice and this review is no reflection of their services. This is a warning to any person looking for a company that is easy to work with in case an issue arises.

    I have been having neck and back issues for the longest. I began coming to The Joint (Culver City) since early November. Dr Titus has been the one adjusting me and he definitely knows that he is doing. Most of the stiffness has eased and I have noticed an immediate improvement in my posture.     Hi everyone it’s Jorge here and I been a customer for about 2-3 months already. And the location I frequent is in Culver City. My back was giving me a lot of problems, it was tense and lower back I felt pain. I didn’t know my neck was in pain, I thought it was just a normal thing bc of work. Lol. The Doctors taking care of me and my Wife have been so helpful and very professional. I feel much better after going to the joint, my pain is gone from my back and neck.     Started going to this location because it is closest to my work. I have been seen by two different doctors here and both have been great. They always ask me how I am feeling and preform the adjustment based on where I am experiencing most pain and or discomfort. Even though it is just a quick 5 min or less appointment, I feel safe and cared for in these doctors hands. The receptionists at this location are especially friendly as well; very welcoming and friendly which makes me feel comfortable and happy as I wait for the doctor.

    I stopped into this location because I was in the area for work. The doctor was really a jerk. He treated me like a second-class citizen because I could not afford to be adjusted more often. Also when I asked him to use a certain technique that many other doctors have used with success to relieve my headaches, he refused and gave me a lecture about that also.

    Late with this review, I went to this location a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday (drove up from the South bay) got paired up with the female Dr. (Don't remember her name at the moment) well she WAS TERRIBLE! I have a chronic neck problem from being a massage therapist over the past 10 years and have received many adjustments to fix my neck (I am a joint member). She did not adjust my neck (only stretched it...I could have done that myself) after I told her what I was seeking treatment for. According to her I felt fine and I kept telling her that I wasn't. Well long story short I had to pay for an adjustment that I never got then I drove over to the Santa Monica location because I still was in need of a neck adjustment. They took care of me!! Don't go here just go to the Santa Monica location.

    I went to this place back in December 2017. Sign up for one month deal for $69. One month only. I stated I will try for one month. Then At the last service in December 2017, I told them I don't want to continue the monthly subscription. They said no problem. Tonight I found out they have been charged me monthly subscription for the last 8 month. $69. Per month. That is over $500.that I didn't authorized. Now I have to call my bank, report the fraudulent charges for the last 8 months. If I don't received my refunds. I will definally sue them! This is insane! I will keep review update until I received my refunds Watch your credit card statement . Watch what they change you! Never ever go back to this place again! Here is my update: After several days with phone calls. I received only 3 refunds out of 8 charges from Brandon, the office manager.. Today, they emailed me, told me that I need to contact their corporation office for further assistance with this refunds. Here is what he stated in the email: "You will need to contact the corporate office for further assistance as we cannot manually issue any further refunds. " And the number they provided is no good number! I guess I will file a small claims again them to get my money back. Watch your bank statement with this place !

    What I've come to realize about all the 5 star reviews is that the only thing being rated is Dr. Hem. She isn't the only thing to take into consideration though. 2 stars from me because each chiropractor I've seen was great. They're friendly, know what they're doing and make you feel comfortable. The other stars I didn't give are due to a huge lack of customer service and a bit of shady behavior from the front desk staff. My experience is that if there are more than one sitting up front, they're too busy talking to each other to bother looking your direction when checking in. They make you feel like a burden, interrupting their conversation to check you in or answer questions you may have. I've also witnessed several patients have the same complaint when being told they were out of their number of visits in the first month when they were told they would be given their first visit free if they signed up. So they get an adjustment, sign up with thinking they still have 4 visits for their first month... but that isn't the case. Everytime I've been given a wait time, weather it be 5 minutes, 15, 30 or more, it's always at LEAST 15+ minutes than estimated. I'm over this location. I have been to other Joint offices around SoCal if I happened to be further from home and my experiences were always better. I think I'll just have to drive a little bit out of the way for better service.

    As other reviewers have commented Dr. Hem is fantastic. She is thorough, remembers your individual issues and tailors treatment to your needs. I have also seen Dr. Devin on a few occasions and he is also super knowledgeable. Like with any treatment the more frequently you go, the better you will feel. The staff is also sweet, I usually see Raven -- she is always very kind and helpful. You can't go wrong with either doctor at The Joint in Culver City -- and their support staff is always pleasant.

    I have a hip rotated posteriorly and have been having trouble just standing and a bum shoulder that I couldn't reach to scratch my back, let alone scrub it in the shower. After one session with Dr. Sutie, my hip doesn't hurt as much and I can reach my back like I do with my other shoulder! She identified the relationship of what was wrong with me (I.e., thyroid problems) with pinched nerves in my spine! She made me feel so comfortable and explained things in laments terms to make sure I understood what she was explaining to me. I felt Right away by her good energy that I was in good hands... quite literally! Can't wait for wait for my next adjustment!
