Find a Great Way to Save Time Exercising
By Tom Herrin
When you get to the point that you are serious about exercising, you may want to spend as much time as possible working on it. Commitment can go a little far because your enthusiasm for making progress can get a little carried away if you really get into it. If it does, you may find yourself spending time working out that really should be spent with work or family. If you are shooting to make a lot of progress but time is running short, it is possible for you to do mini workouts that can produce good results as you work 10 or 15 minutes at a time several times per day. Be sure to remember to do some kind of warm-up each time.
Focus on Cardio
A lot of people are into getting out on the running track. When you are short on time, you can condense this by moving more in place. Jogging in place can help. Simply add some other movements, such as swinging the arms. Lunges are another thing that can work for increasing respiration and heart rate. You can be as creative as possible and make it work. Almost any kind of repetitive exercise will help.
Work on Shoulders
Developing the shoulders is important. Overhead presses are pretty useful here. There are several different kinds of raises that will work them, whether it is in front, side, or whatever. While some of these are recommended to be done with heavier weights, bands are generally a safer way to do them with far less stress on the joint. You will want to carefully think through what you do here. The last thing you want is to have an injury as a result,
Build the Biceps
It has been traditional for many people to want to build their biceps. I prefer to use dumbbells for this task, if I use weights. Dumbbells allow you to do a pretty good variety of exercises, and you normally won't risk as much damage with them as with a barbell. It is kind of the nature of it. You can always use bands again here, however, as they are easy to carry around and use. High reps with bands will work the biceps and allow you to isolate whatever you want. You can actually do lots of things in a short period. You just need to be sure to be consistent.
